    I live in GA and have a Beardie too and I love Creation Pet! I didn't buy my Beardie from them but I typically buy all of my bugs and board him there whenever I have to go out of town. They're amazing!

    We got a baby beardie 2 months ago. His name is Khan. He was four months and two weeks when we got him and exactly two months later he’s double in size. And he’s just getting bigger. We absolutely love our beardie and he has such a sweet and energetic personality. He doesn’t like his greens that much but he looooves his woodies.

    i bread them for my reptile babies! i keep them in a glass aquarium so they can’t climb it, they need it to be dark so i wrapped it in wrapping paper. they also need it to be about 90 degrees(i think) if it’s too cold they will not breed. it takes a few month before it really gets going

    • @kaitlynd2160
      @kaitlynd2160 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      i’m not sure if you know this but be careful with the sand! i’ve read it can cause impaction for a lot of bearded dragons. it is a very controversial topic and a lot of people don’t think it can but for mine i decided to avoid it just in case. non adhesive shelf liner is a good alternative and it’s way easier to clean. he is adorable!

    When you feed him crickets I would let them sit in the Calcium for at least 10-20 minutes before feeding him them. Just trying to give you tips because when I got mine the breeder said when you feed him crickets to let them sit then feed him! I really love the color of mine too he is a yellow ish orange ish and his name is Spyro can’t tell if he is a boy or girl tho

    I would also buy bugs from www.rainbowmealworms.net their bugs are fairly price it’s just the shipping that takes a little bit longer and I wouldn’t recommend mealworms I would definitely recommend super worms if you are feeding worms to your Dragon super worms look identical to mealworms but mealworms has a exoskeleton which is hard for your baby bearded dragon to digest.

    Dubia roaches love the dark so if you can cover the container in something dark, they will breed even faster. There are moisture pellets you can get for them which are really good for keeping them hydrated. They also love to hide and eat carrots.

    Aww he’s so cute! I remember when my bearded dragon (Fury) was this small. Letting you know as he gets older his poops are going to be so much bigger! Fury poops like a dog😂 but what is really for me is we trained her to poop on a paper towel so we can pick it up and throw it away! Just a little suggestion because Fury used to poop in her food bowl and now that she is bigger it gets super hard to clean up because it gets in the cracks and crevices of the food bowl😊😅

      @stuckinthelazycorneragain4016 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@camillejeanne213 Not true unfortunately . There is no such thing as a “fancy” bearded dragon, that’s just what stores call certain bearded dragons to get more money for them. Some call them that when they think it’s a morph or look different from the normal gray/brown coloured beardies.

    • @camillejeanne213

      @stuckinthelazycorneragain4016 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@camillejeanne213 Yes really. It’s disappointing that so called “professionals” are lying about this kind of thing. Orange for one is a colour, not a morph. A normal bearded dragon can be any range of colours from red to yellow to orange including the most common one; gray/brown. This does not mean it’s a morph. If you’re curious you can search up morphs/genes in bearded dragons, there are a lot of good websites that explain exactly what a morph is! But if you’re curious I can name a few; trans, hypo, dunner, zero and leatherback. There are obviously more but these are my personal favourites :)

I keep them in an 18 gallon Rubber maid plastic tub with Organic soil and multiple Egg cartons for Hiding spaces! I also added a plastic Tupperware lid to put Potatoes, Carrots, Zucchini, Cucumber, Peaches on for them to feed on and stay hydrated. I also drilled some small holes in the Rubbermaid enclosure for air flow. Breeding Dubias is pretty easy all together. It’s been between 85 and 95 degrees where I live so I keep the tub on my porch. I also keep a hydrometer/thermometer to track their temps and Dubias love darkness and humidity so that’s very important for breeding them!

    Hello if you are seeing this I just want to say the baby dragons are best not to live on sand substrate I recommending changing to like newspaper, paper towel or tiles. They could launch for a roach on the sand and also eat sand by accident

    Wow good job but DONT WAIT 2 DAYS! Only because they won’t want to be near you in the next couple days and that’s just not a good idea make sure you to take my information,also I don’t know if you meant lettuce? but lettuce isn’t good for them

    • @AdrianaRose
      @AdrianaRose 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bellah McBryde I think she just said lettuce but in the video I think she said she fed it mustard greens and turnip greens and bell pepper. I have a habit of just saying lettuce because it’s easier for people to understand instead of mustard greens or turnip greens for people are like what the hell is that😂😂😂

    Dragons are opportunity eaters, so if the opportunity comes, they’ll eat. Don’t make him too obese, they need to have a bit of plump. Also, he needs to be fed an hour before the lights go off.

    I recommend starting off a baby dragon with a smaller tank because a breaded dragon grows with the tank and they the grow a lot faster like that my brother started off his with a 40 gallon and he is growing a little slow I’m not trying to tell you how to care for bowser but I would just like to let you know 😊

      The size of the tank doesnt affect the baby growing. What have you been feeding it ?

    i heard a girl saying that mealworms can cause impaction in a bearded dragon and you shouldn't feed them kale for some reason..

    • @HabitualTeapot
      @HabitualTeapot 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mealworms can be fed but they are not recommended as a staple and kale is a calcium binder much like broccoli

    Thanks for posting this wonderful video...
    it really helps educate me, especially the one where you posted about the cage.... I'm thinking of getting a bearded dragon. I'm just starting to do my homework right now and I just wanted to ask you, how much does it cost on a weekly basis if you had to factor in all the food. I already priced a cage and all the accessories but on a weekly basis how much do you think it would cost to feed this animal. The one I'm getting is going to be an adult. There's a pesto that has one down the block for me it's an adult bearded dragon thank you for your reply

    I recommend with ur bearded because I have one, that juveniles/baby's have 80% of crickets and others but i only feed mine crickets for now and they eat 20% greens so if he's not eating his leafy greens it's ok

    How many mealworms and crickets do you feed a juvenile a day and a adult a day?
    And how much pellets and what vegetables can they eat?

    I’m not really sure if it’s either to give them calcium every day but that might just be with older bearded dragons. I don’t know you should ask a vet

  • @tboo70
    @tboo70 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You also need a UVA and UVB lighting source to prevent metabolic bone disease and also to help him have like healthy bones and stuff as he grows

  • @tboo70
    @tboo70 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I counted you gave him like 30 bugs and plus you’re trying to feed him three times a day. This is way too much.

  • @tboo70
    @tboo70 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is absolutely ridiculous. 20 roaches a day that’s like hundreds a month please never do this you should give like two or three.
