Their metabolism are all different so they grow at different rates.
Mine is tiny he doesn’t even look full grown because my uncle found him outside starving too death, I’m glad he’s alive at all tho
You really should have a longer UVB and over lap the heat lamp and UVB. The way its setup now the BD has to pick between heat or sunlight, should I be warm and develop MBD or should I die of cold but still have healthy bones doing so.

I noticed that you have your Baskin light on the outside of the tank. What size bulb are you using? I am having a little bit of problem getting his Baskin area hot or not. I did order the Baskin cave from Zen. It is gorgeous has a perfect slate that you can remove for easy Clean I have a 100 there. I have purchased a one fifty heat light I have a 30 inch sunlight and I also use a sunlight in the dome with my Baskin light so my heat light. I just did as a heat light at a 150.
How is the habitat holding up for you and did you get the pvc or the regular one? Thanks

please get loose substrate! they need it to thrive and as a means of enrichment
They don’t need loose substrate but you can include a dig box that’s fine
no loose substrate is worse than non-loose in bearded dragon cases, especially with males. for males, it can get stuck in their femoral pores and it cab clog and possibly hurt your beardie.

Hey sweety so u know the tiles u got aren't the best idea the spaces are meant for grout so unless ur going to fill it with grout which I don't recommend! u are way better going to the clearance part of the tile area and get ur tiles there u can also go with tile that is the shape of wood flooring kinda it's almost like the vynil snap together floor which u can get pretty cheap as well I use that it's waterproof and Amazing

you can actually build an enclosure out of a dresser! you can get a dresser from a used furniture store super cheap. i found a tutorial on pinterest and i will be getting my beardie super soon!:)
Or you can be a bit smarter and go with a tub setup

I don't have a bearded dragon yet and it's going to be quiet a few months before I even start buying stuff (cause I'm doing research and stuff still) but I'm planning to do what you did and like get the 40 gallon tank to start off with and when he or she gets to big for it I'm going to get that same 120 gallon one.
For the asking price you're better off building it yourself.
Hi, I really want a beardie, but I can’t go any higher then I would say a 50 gallon :(. i don’t know if that’s good for a beardie and I wanna know if it’s possible for them to live in a 50 gallon?
Don’t get a 50 gallon get a 40. 40 is bigger it has more surface area they can roam instead of being tall.
If i am not mistaken, you would need 8 tiles to fill the whole bottom because the enclosure is 4 by 2 and most tiles are 1 square foot so you would need two rows of four.

One and how you are maintaining the humidity. I have just set up my tank and for last 3 days. I have been struggling with the humidity. I have moved the water bowl in different locations. I am going up on the water job. My Baskin light because I can not get that spot hot either. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Water dishes are not needed. That will raise the humidity a lot. I used a 100-watt spotlight halogen bulb. They are hard to find now, unfortunately. There are also dehumidifiers that are small enough to put in the enclosures (non electric) or use an electric dehumidifier in the room.
I would try taking the water dishes out first and doing the 100-watt bulb, while raising the basking platform as needed to get to temp. Hope this helps.

Tiles proved to be bad for the joints of the dragon. My opinion is that stuff that isn’t in nature shouldn’t be in a enclosure. Keep it like bio active.
And I was unaware that they could eat such a big worm. I was told that everything had to be between the size of their eyes. She could cause paralyzation. This is a true statement.

Those enclosures look cool, I like how the door opens from the front. Do your plush toys get dirty from being in the enclosure with Bowser?
They shouldn’t be dirty bearded dragons are sanitary unless he likes to use the bathroom on them. Hope this helps

I like the pvc enclosure way more and I think they are Slightly cheaper. The layout and look of these pvc cages are Almost identical to the zen habitats. Im just thinking of beardie poop that does touch the wood after a few years its gotta start affecting the wood. Pvc that can't happen, thats why I think its better, pvc gonna hold up and last longer for sure.

If you ever feel the need to change his tile Home Depot has 12x12 tiles for a dollar a piece that’s what I use and its great

Well I’m not her but I have a bearded dragon and you usually upgrade when they are full grown so about 18 months
