- I vlogged my entire first week with my baby bearded dragon! In this video, I show you how I feed my bearded dragon, what my baby bearded dragon likes to do, and exploring around the enclosure! Towards the end of the week, my bearded dragon stopped eating. We ultimately did end up taking him to the vet, so be sure to check out that video coming soon to see what they said!

Hi Audrey! It would be really cool to see a video of you holding your bearded dragon for the first time. But that probably won’t happen anytime soon since your bearded dragon is a bit shy. But after he is more comfortable with you, it would be really cool if you filmed him in your hand.
hi audrey!! i have had my bearded dragon for almost five years. her name is Rosie! i wanted to tell you not to worry about the eating for the first week. the first, week, Rosie barely ate at all and only pooped one time! now, she is an almost full grown healthy girl! i honestly don’t have tips on the salad part, because Rosie has always loved salad even more than bugs. have a great first week!!
Hey Audrey! I have a bearded dragon too! A little tip is to buy some crickets mine loves chasing them around!😂
I haven't bought them because I know they are more prone to parasites and I don't want to take care of crickets but I'm wondering if he'll find them more interesting than this current bugs
@@AllAroundAudrey that’s true! My beardie also lost interest and mainly likes worms but we mix them together so he has multiple types

@@AllAroundAudrey yeah dubias are one of the greatest foods you can feed they are delicious to them and also way way more nutrious and easier to digest then most every other easily obtained feeder. Crickets also can bite thier eyes and blind your dragon (and trust me the beardie will not even stop them from crawling on him) if left in enclosure and dubias dont bite or smell.

Something you may not know is beardies have pores by there tail and they can clog which is not very nice for them so you do have to kind of bath him evry now and then ( he is so cute )
I love your videos. I didn’t know that bearded dragons’ arms are like that.
hi i got a beardie a few months ago and he’s very healthy. try not to feed big bugs, they can’t eat bugs bigger than the space of their eyes. smaller bugs will also help them eat more and digest them way better! my vet also told me it was great to feed smaller bugs, it makes a big difference. my beardies favourite bugs are size 2 locust and wax worms!!

My beared dragon is always bright it just means they are comfortable in their car but sometimes when they dark they can be stressed or mad

You have to put the food bowl and the water bowl on the opposite side of the enclosure where the lamp is and both lamps need to be on the same side
Also for the salad I recommend some bee pollen on the salad don’t know why it works but it does 😂

Hi Audrey, a trick to help them be more interested in their salad is to actually put bugs in their salad or to tong feed bugs and salad in the same bite. You could also put the salad in a blender and put the bugs in that.
if the humidity gets to high put rice in a sock or something like that as it helps to lower it,helps with my beardie

A tip they say if u leave bugs in his cage they stress them out because the bugs will bite them and stuff
And try to feed him or her crickets
Hi audrey make sure when you feed your beardie insects that are the length in between there two eyes. you can also mist your salads so then they can get water if they dont drink it.

We do mealworms/super worms and cover with calcium. Also make sure to give baths instead of leaving a water bowl in the tank

it's so nice to finally see someone getting a pet who's educated and did their research!!! talking to ur beardie helps alot bc they can recognize ur voice!! also crickets are a great feeder but just make sure not to feed them everyday :)

audrey i was a fan when you lived in florda and still am today in 2022 also my teacher puts the bugs in a little box shaped thing and it keeps them in there but the dragon can still get them also maybe you could name draco

I would get him a bose acoustic speaker. So it fills deep sound from everywhere and set it next to the cage. I bet he dances
hey! congrats on your beardie, hes beautiful!! when you are feeding him bugs they need to be the same width as in between his eyes that way he doesnt choke. :)
He is so cute. Please make sure that any insects he hasn't eaten are removed as they can bite him.
With the salad try a couple of bugs ontop
Make sure u have a uva and uvb light
at first since he’s so tiny I would start with mealworms and crickets. that what I did with mine. they aren’t as big and he would be able to digest them a little better

Rabbit doesn't eat bugs or worms? The Bearded Dragon does. Rabbit Herbivores they don't eat meat. The Bearded Dragon Omnivores they eat both plants & Insects

Audrey I have a bearded dragon and on the first week it didn’t really eat anything so don’t be worried at all
I had a turtle not exactly the same pet lol but we had to put calcium in his food to and we put it in his salad so you could maybe do that to I haven’t done much research on bearded dragons so you might have to check but I’m pretty sure your aloud to add there calcium onto there salad as well
have you tried him with locust mine loves them
What heating light do you put on at night to keep your tank warm?

Plus he’s a little bit bigger than mine wise when I got him he was the size of my hand and his tail was the size of my pinky finger
I had a leopard gecko and he had stick tail we did everything we could but we had to give him back to the store to get proper care so like a couple days later I got Leo. the one I have now he is also a leopard gecko and is doing amazing he is almost a year old now and I am sure the other one got the care he needed don’t stress or overthink that’s what I did just know everything will be okay 😊❤

I got my first dragon yesterday
I got mine in the mail yesterday how long do it take to eat
they you should take out the water dish but in insanest spray the tank with water because you do not want to much humidity

We don't know the Bearded Dragon is male or female, cause to me too it see like female Bearded Dragon cause their head small while males head are big.🤷if you look up gender between Gender of Male or Female Bearded Dragon
