What's the difference between 20 & 40w ?
Just pulled the trigger on the 20w pro. Very excited to step up my wood working and design game and start making some art projects
I just ordered an Xtool M1 10W from Amazon and I am excited. My wife has been wanting one for years because she is big into crafting. She is big into stencils and engravings. I sure hope we're not disappointed.

These things look awesome! I am a hobby engraver that does cups and flatwork by hand with a dremel.. been following you and Triado forever and got me into it.. This laser is so cool! Coupled with the air assist and rotary tool the project ideas are just about endless. If you can imagine it you can do it. I am a machinist by trade and also use a 3D printer to make projects. I would love to try out the laser on some 3D prints for an added pop. I also would use it to engrave designs on the wind chimes I make. With the rotary tool you can etch glasses, mugs, tumblers,pool balls, pencils, pens,etc.

I would absolutely love to get an xTool d1 laser. I have a small ETSY store that I make handmade wooden items. It would be great to expand my small inventory to include laser cut products. Upon searching for laser cut items, I found a huge amount of projects that I would like to add to my store. I feel that creating laser cut items is limitless as it can let your creative juices flow and there is no telling what you can come up with. Thank you for providing a tool to help with making handmade goods easier.

This looks great, I would use the 20 what to finish so many projects I have abandoned because of my 2.5w laser is so slow and takes so long. Projects like engraving wooden crosses I cut from cedar and Firehose projects I have been working on.

This laser looks awesome. I would use it to make custom lights to hang around. A 3d wooden sculpture that adds a light source would be phenomenal.
I built an cnc mashine and due to issues the laser blew it was a neje laser. Neje would not give me support due to not bought from them. I bought it from one of their affiliates or resellers. I have been building my machine for the last couple years. I would use it on the rotory and on the bed with color to make the best wood and steel and glass creations. Sorry I can't post images here of my first tries. Sadly I am in no position to acquire this wonderful machine. Good luck to anyone who gets it. It would help me grow my business so much just saying. Keep up the good videos. Helps me a lot.

Matt, thank you for your videos. I am a beginner and have a similar laser to the D1Pro (AtomStack X20 Pro). I am looking for resources to learn laser engraving in general with a 20 watt laser. I wont do much cutting, primarily etching/engraving wood, tumblers and glass.

Okay!! I have the same wood. Same machine same settings. minus the air flow which could be my problem but it's not cutting through and it's burning!!! I've tried so much and don't feel like I'm gonna concur this 🥴

I've been wanting an engraver for years but the Financials have just never lined up due to my wife having half her foot amputated from a freak blood clot and medical bills are unforgiving. Well whoever receives it is going to be blessed to get it. Life will line up sometime.

I would use the D1 Pro for making coasters and wood earrings.
We have some fine plastic parts that could be fabricated with this. Unfortunately we can't 3D print these parts because of material requirements but we can definitely cut parts from plastic stock, the XTool will be perfect for this.

I lost my job and I have been trying to start my own laser engraving business. The one that I have it does not work very well. It does not do what I want or need to do for some of the people have asked me about. People are asking can you do this or that and my laser just isn't working on those items.

Really great tool, great pricing, but I’m paying mega bucks for dental implants (long story) so hopefully the prices stay close to the current. And I will continue to dream and do it all by hand.
