Joshua I have been trying to contact you since our last interaction but for whatever reason TH-cam keeps deleting my messages, I will be intouch through Instagram later this week, just wanted you to know! I will explain then 😊
WOW, Im so sorry you guys live under tyranny, not that anywhere else is much better but atleast in the usa we are able to protect ourselves and families. I couldnt imagine having to carry a freakin flashlight for protection. Several years ago while travling alone across country I had a man attempt to abduct while wheeleding a razor knife, If it werent for me having my Glock 9mm with me that night I wouldnt be talking to you. That man was trying to get me in the car so he could rape me and much worse, yes he was stronger, bigger and probably faster but he still lost. Everyone has a right to defend their own life, and the lives of their families and loved ones.
I like all of your videos because of the tempo of your delivery, your sense of humour, your ability to admit and correct mistakes and your vast knowledge that is very helpful
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. I'm always looking to improve even if it means swallowing my pride and eating humble pie. I know I'm not always right but listening to people much smarter than me is definitely helping. Cheers J
New to the laser world so just watching a ton of newbie content. I loved seeing you jumping into tests that helped your projects, rather than random hypotheticals
Love the way you explain all the nuances of the various machines . i have never considered a laser cutter for accurate small parts made of wood . this has given me a new perspective on how i proceed with my new hobby . Thank you for all your content
I was impressed with the ability to cut leather patterns, it never dawned on me that that machine could be used for that purpose. Thanks for such a wonderful demonstration.
I am so impressed with your video. A laser cutter/engraver has been on my wish list for years, but as an old retired hoarder, I need to make room in the garage for a place to store it. I am thinking that if it is not too heavy, I could move it outside to use it and use the breeze to keep the fumes away. Love your videos. Wow! Your only weakness is that you respond to so many comments that it takes time away from making even more great content. Thanks for the beautiful work and videos.
Thank you so much. The best part about these types of lasers is they can hang on the wall when not in use. So you can definitely just set a table outside when needed. Cheers J
Loved the video, the narration, the editing, highlighting the mistakes etc. Great job! I made a similar pouch but modified it so the top edge of the flashlight ended up being at the same height as the top edge of the multitool so it wouldn't dig into my side whenever I sit down or bent over.
I like these videos. I don't know why anyone else is not watching them. I think you have a quirky sense of humor. Which I thoroughly enjoy. And I hope you have a wonderful day.😊
This is the kind of content I like. Good video quality, pleasant tempo (not to high), interesting mix of product review and actual use / segues and a bit of fun poking now and then. It was enjoyed. Thank you, dear sir.
I like everything you do so I can't help you with that one sorry. Your sense of humour is wonderful. I was a teacher of how to make and do myself for many years and I can tell you like helping people, it shows, and it is a joy.
That flash/reflection just after 22:07, i would say that could potentially damage your eyes and is a good reason why if you are in the room with the laser ware the glasses.
Another incredible video! You think of all the details I would spend hours thinking up to research a buying decision, and then you go beyond that incredible point and explain the fine details of ownership. Superb! Thank you!
FYI, good laser pointer but your subscribers should know the USB C implementation on the 40w laser you are using is non standard. Creality appears to connect the precision setting button to the USB C signal pins on this 40w laser. So, if you make your pointer with a USB C male connector that has smart charger resistors installed the laser pointer will work but the resistors in this connector will disable switching between precision laser and normal laser modes. Remedies- 1. just use normal 2. unplug the laser pointer before setting precision mode 3. remove the resistors form the male USB C connector (This is what I did) 4. make this project with male connectors which do not come with these resistors installed. As long as these resistors are not installed the precision buttons should work.I hope this helps.
Your welcome. Creality, made the timeless mistake of assuming customers would not come up with unexpected ways to use their product. So why not highjack the USB port and use it for switching output power. It quite clever really.
I enjoy the small projects like this video. However, I do not own a laser or anything you have used here, I simply enjoy watching and learning. Fantastic and much better than than the garbage on TV.
I like both your review videos and your build videos as well. Your side by sid e examples of the machines are very helpful. Your knife and flashlight holder build was cool. Incorporating review and project build was nice. I'm a vacuum for everything CBC related. Wheather router, laser, machining, or 3D printing. But most of all your approach and presentation is very instructive and informative. With little to no real bias, just straight up this is how it is. This is what happens if, what you can and can't do with a material or machine. Thank you for your contribution to the CBC world. May you have a good day.....from Southeast Alaska.
I watched your demonstration of the new laser competition as well as other lasers you advertised did a great job of seeing how they work and good and bad features. Thanks a lot.
Joshua, I went ahead and ordered the Falcon 40W. Your discount code saved me a substantial amount of money on top of the reduced price right now on the Creality site. Thanks again for the great content and objective approach to product review. Looking forward to projects!
Purchased the Falcon 2 based on this review and also comparing with your earlier videos. Thanks for the discount code ! I already made the crosshairs laser mod. Thanks for the great content , down to earth and honest reviews.
I started watching your videos for your outstanding welding and fabrication skills, then subscribed. Can't blame you reviewing all the free kit you get but if you've watched one 3d printer and laser video you've seen them all, no skill involved. Printers and lasers no forging, A life worth living.
I try to mix it up a bit with the review videos and make something interesting with the kit I'm given. I did a little forging in the one laser video which people seem to enjoy. My stand alone metalworking videos don't seem to get as many views. I'll be doing lots more though again at some point but currently I'm overwhelmed with kit to review. It's great just not forging but it is paving a life for my family. Cheers J
Joshua, you are so handy with so many things, have you thought of making a *DIY Solar Water Heater, and storing the heat in an insulated tank?* The common _vacuum insulated selective surface absorber tubes_ will get you close to 100°C/212°F with no concentration of the sunlight, though it takes a long time to reach full temperature. Higher temperatures are really good, they increase the amount of _usable heat_ you can store. For temperatures above the boiling point of water, mirrored acrylic sheets can be bent into parabolic troughs to really concentrate the sunlight on the collector pipe, and single-axis tracking can follow the daily path of the sun across the sky. Weekly adjustments to the other axis can be done manually, the combination giving you what amounts to 2-axis solar tracking! An example of that I saw years ago gave an output temperature of 300°C/572°F, easily hot enough to run a closed-cycle steam engine at around 30% thermal efficiency, and still have 'waste heat' of around 55°C/131°F for heating water and buildings. On that basis, I calculated that *30 cubic meters of hot sand and rocks at 300°C could provide ALL the energy (electric and heat) to keep an 'average family' happy for an entire month of no sunny days!* I have pictures and calculations available, but obviously cannot post them in YT comments. There are also simpler versions that do not attempt to track the sun, and will work even with hazy skies, but give lower output temperatures. @joshuadelisle
Thank you, I do have some plans on it. certainly large hot water storage, parabolic mirrors and other related ideas. I want my wood stove steam generator to work first then i'm tackling a wood gasifier generatorand bio digester. cheers J
That is a cool tool... i didnt realise how far things had come, last time i saw something like this it was for crafting... and not much use for anything... I think i have lost touch with things over the last few years with having family stuff coming first, but its nice to see.. Also cool torch, and i find most of your vids i see interesting regardless of the subject, as long as its the technical angle...
The reviews are great and you using them to create projects helps give current owners and potential future owners inspiration and a better understanding of the ability and application of the equipment in real world applications. The use of rotary tools and engraving/cutting different materials for use in projects would be great videos.
@@joshuadelisle Hey Joshua, thank you for the video. I would have liked to see more actual testing on the differences between 20W and 40W modes, as well as head to head with the X1 (i.e. giving them the same files, starting at the same time and comparing head to head the time, quality and accuracy of the cuts.). The belt sheath was very cool!
Great video Josh, very informative (real-life application and issues). Have often thought how nice it would be to be able to engrave/precision cut various materials. My biggest fear, if I ever got this machine, how to keep my son from absconding with it. Will definitely check out more of your videos.
I like the way you give the details clear. Thank you I would love to have one like this but I don't think my alarm system would like it will go on every time to cook anything well done because I live in apartment, first I have figure out a ventilation system strong to remove all smoke out for any kinds of materials in small details.
Thank you so much. Yes good fire safety, filtered extraction and shielding from the laser beam is very important. I'm reviewing an enclosed system shortly which may be more beneficial for you. Cheers J
Well, that's a dilemma, I was saving up for the XTool, but after seeing this review I'm seriously thinking about the Creality. As for your content, I really enjoyed your craft postings with the amazing sculptures etc. However, I also enjoy your reviews on tool machines. Perhaps a mixture of both or even include some of your everyday life exploits. I find your rhetoric and sense of humour reminds me of a younger me. Great post, thank you and be safe and well 👍
Thank you so much. I've got the Longer 40w, the Atezr 36w and the new S1 from xTool so lots more to confuse you lol. I'll definitely bring a mix into the reviews. I have a few blacksmithing projects I can add in again. Cheers J
I enjoy all your content and your honesty about the tools you review. I find myself wanting to buy each machine you review but when I check the prices I can rarely afford them. But I do miss your blacksmithing and sculpture content. When I started to watch your channel it was because of the sculptures and things like the power hammer. It was so nice that not only could I afford to buy your sculpture plans but you have step by step tutorials on how to weld them which was a huge bonus for me. Please show us some more metalwork & welding projects. Your so talented with that stuff. Apologies if this sounds negative, I don't mean it to be.
This was great, thanks! I've learned a great deal from your video. This was exactly the type of info I needed - short and sweet, without skipping on the details - perfect. You've also been very entertaining without being annoying - loved the content! Thanks.
I find it so sad to hear a fellow human being dismiss the fact they can't protect themselves from armed criminals. Because their government wants to keep them safe.
Protection racket fails if you can protect yourself If you can protect yourself from an assailant, that puts the life of the government enforcers in their line when they're ordered to gain compliance to immoral mandates. 28:47 28:47 28:47 28:47
I was thinking the same thing, as a second amendment absolutist (if one is too dangerous to be trusted with a firearm then they've already shown they're too dangerous to be trusted loose within society) the idea of not being able to defend myself is unthinkable. It's even more abhorrent to think women are left defenseless. The UK keeps getting worse in this area granting more power to the thugs, they are barely behind China now with the only difference being knives have to be attached with cables to the counters in China, at least the UK hasn't gone that far.... Yet.
@@JamesSmullins knives are illegal to carry. Than less you have good reason. My multi tool can be considered a weapon than less I have good reason to carry....
@@joshuadelisle that's why I said y'all were right behind China. Illegal there as well only they went that extra step with cables and chains to counters. I feel sorry for you guys over there.
My personal favorite videos of yours are the sock knitting machine as seeing you encounter problems with the design and think through how to fix them really helps me get into the problem solving mindset
Only the second video of yours that i have watched - I loved both equally. As someone with ADHD i tip my hat to you sir... you have held my attention for the entire vid - twice! your channel will provide me with many hours of procrastination and no doubt cost me a considerable amount of money 😅
This was probably my favourite video of yours that I have watched! I like how you mixed in other tips and techniques into the review - and I like your laser cutter reviews anyway! Thanks.
Great video. Well paced, nice voice modulation and a good sense of humour too. Very watchable. This was the first video of yours I’ve watched and I’ll be sure to watch others. 👍🏻
your ideas are brill Josh' I am grounded due to my hip replacement. taking a long time to get myself back on my feet. So Blacksmithing in Ayr is on hold... I enjoyed your laser cutter real cool..
I became interested in Laser Cutter/Engravers around 2019, but they were based mostly on low power LED's or fragile glass tubes, with small enclosures limiting the size of material that could be worked. I never acquired one because of the expense. Since then, my interest has waned, until I saw this video and was very impressed, both by what the Falcon 2 could do, and your genius at how to use it. My thanks for bringing my interest back to the hobby!
my absolute favorite is the video of you converting a laser cutter to cnc plasmacutter...infact i JUST bought the laser cutter to modify it just like you did.
70 yr's old. My first lazer anything, watching. You have my FULL ATTENTION. Amazing stuff you did. Wink, wink, the only thing you didn't explain was just how this machine was going to wash my dishes. LOL (Just pulling your leg.)
Writing as Paracordia-UK. A very informative video Joshua. I found the files for making the laser mount and will be making one this morning. Thanks for all the tips and tricks!
I don't know where I'm going wrong@@joshuadelisle I've gone through step by step setting up the crosshairs and as soon as I position the cross and hit start, the head scoots over to the right, hits the frame and stops. I've tried and tried and double checked everything and I have no idea why I'm failing. Falcon2 22w.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, I've been thinking of getting a CNC or Laser cutter for a while so I check these videos out on a semi-regular basis. Nicely done!
Hi Joshua, I enjoy most all the content you post. My favorite and what makes me want to get out to my shop are videos like the power hammer build, anything where your just making things. Mostly because it's interesting to see your thought process for simplifying and streamlining a process. You've made a few videos where you were making many of something and along the way you optimize the process, increasing the speed at which you're able to complete a finished product. Good stuff. No matter what you produce, you put a lot of thought into the task at hand, it's always interesting and we all appreciate what you're doing
Thank you I’ve been wanting a laser cutter but just didn’t know enough about them. Your review has helped a lot will be looking up your other videos well done.
Mate you done a splendid job on that pouch, I take it you where a harness maker in a previous life or possibly made the old leather helmets, Im sure it was something along those lines. But carry on, off to the next wonderful project.
great video, just found your channel and instantly knew I had to subscribe to it as someone getting into Laser work as a side hustle. I currently own the Falcon 10w, but would love to get into the 40W version for the expansive amount of things I could do with it as well as continue making what I do know just much faster. I really appreciate how you talk/show your settings and at times even discuss the operational costs compared to possible selling costs to come out with potential profits gains, very nice of you, I don't know of anyone else doing that! Looking forward to watching a lot more of your videos now, Thank you!
My personal favourites are: a] power hammer making b] powered respirator c] hydraulic press making. Not that other videos are bad but those 3 are the reason I subscribed. I like some laser stuff like those laser crosshair mounts etc. Reviews not so much. I already have a atomstack a20 pro so there is no need of watching reviews If I'm not planning to replace it any time soon. Hope that helps.
Thank you. those are some of my favourite videos too. but looking at what gets views are diesil heater and lasers it seems. hard to know what the best ballence is but I guess i'll carry on with the range of content that I have been doing. cheers J
Havent watched alot of your videos but i found you thanks to your 3d printed knitting machine and stayed for the laser machine, did dip my feet in 3d printing and got me a neptune 4 pro.... therefor i thirst for 3d content, that being said, if you want to make serius money of youtube, do whats does best BUT if you want do do youtube as a sidething for fun, entertaining and education, do what you enjoy most. Its better you have fun making videos than making it a job that has to be done, risking losing the heart in the videos hope i make sens, i just want you to do what you like, i really like what ive seen this far keep it going!
Thank you so much. I'm blessed to be able to do what I do. Even if I just did what I personally wanted to, I would still make it a job and work hard until the point of getting fed up because that's who I am. I don't believe in making the thing you love your job means you never work again, I believe if it doesn't feel like work then I'm not working hard enough. This is probably due to childhood trauma lol. More 3D printing to come. Cheers J
Impressive video. Been thinking about purchasing the XTool for some time as soon as I build a place to put one. This video has made me consider the laser that you used in this video. Its really nice that you raffle the items off after you demonstrate what they can do. I wished people in America would do the same.
I really like your little project with the tool itself. Will be watching more. I think I’ll sell my ortur laser and get one of these. Keep up the good work. See u on the next go around.
I like the content, this is the first time I've seen you. As soon as I saw the Leatherman you got my sub, I couldn't count how many times mine has saved the day. Love your art work, and your inventions/solutions (I took a look at your channel). The things I would do with that laser set up, got my creative juices flowing. Having the ability to cut out whatever pops into my head would be incredible. Thanks for the video, now get out there (I tells myself).
From a proud papa of 12 lasers ranging from 20w to 3kw i would say when cutting these plywood boards choose plywood graded for interior use, then it's not PVC in the glue and it will cut much easier and the edge will be light brown instead of a charred mess and as a added bonus it will be less smoke
I enjoy all of the different stuff that you do. Have been watching since you left your foundary way back and have watched you forge a life worth living ;)
thank you, just used your code and received €500 off the order from the official Europe site, thanks for the open review. for me a review on what you want to buy is handy, however seeing the creative process of the tools is far better for expanding the mind. I appreciate your thinking out of the box attitude.
Stumbled across this channel today. Now i am binge watching. Looking for an affordable laser, i got suckered in and got the laserpecker. Now i regret my decision, so looking for an affordable alternative. Lasering seems fo have become my new mental health support and so far really enjoying it. I just want to be able to do more. Trolling your videos for the comparisons so i dont make another costly bad decision
Thank you so much. I know I made light of it but safety is a big issue so if you get one so consider buying the correct glasses for the wave length of the machine and extraction or mask for your lungs. Cheers J
Looks good! Nice having the air pump included and built in, We have an Ortur laser master which is great fun but I am terrified of forgetting to put the glasses on!
@@joshuadelisle I think you're missing a trick there mate, the raffle is awesome but I strongly suggest a patreon in addition, for ppl that just want to see and support great content who may not need a laser. I'm sure there are ppl like that but I'm not one of them lol, I wants all the lasers! 😆
@@personalPickle thank you. I've not done a patreon because I've not been able to put aside exclusive content. I'll definitely consider it though. All the very best. Cheers J
Hands-on, real projects, great explanations of how-to. Brilliant video. Great content. First time watcher. Subbed. Which videos are your favorites to make?
This is the first video I have watched of this type and I found it fascinating and very informative. To date I have never used a 3D printer or Laser but I have an interest in both. I’ve looked at my local adult education availability but have not found any beginner courses for either. I’m not sure where your videos start but I intend to find out. I do hope I can get to grips with it all through you as I find it easy to follow what you are saying which is a great start. I’ll enter the competition because you can’t really learn without practice so fingers and toes crossed. Thank you for taking to time to share your knowledge, it’s greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much. I plan on doing a beginners tutorial on using Lightburn and freecad which are the tools you'll want to learn to design and operate these types of machines. All to look forward to. Cheers J
First time I’ve seen this. Wow, so many possibilities! Of course I saw your contest at the end. How do we enter for the multi-tool & flashlight. PS good leather sewing work!
Thank you so much. The falcon2 is first prize, torches are 2nd 3rd and 4th runner ups. Should be links and discounts in the description if needed. All the very best. Cheers J
This is the first video I have seen of yours and I really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work! I'm now following for more. I have the xtool D1 pro 20w and the F1, which is great for engraving metal using the IR. I have managed to use them to quit the 9-5 and work for myself. I'm not quite earning the same money yet, but I am getting close! I started with 3D printing and that naturally led to lasers and buying a tiny NEJE 5w. I soon wanted more power. I'm hooked. I want a fiber laser next for deep metal engraves. Thanks for taking the time to make this. 😊
Thank you and well done that's awesome. I've got the laserpecker 4 to show off soon. It does very well on metal surfaces apparently. That's so cool you're earning with your machines. It's a very competitive market as so many people have one but you must have found the right product to make with one. Cheers J
Bro, I am very impressed with what your channel has become. I first started watching you after the 1st power hammer build and have been inspired by what you have built. Thanks for not giving up and sharing all that you have learned. Kudos my friend and thank you!
will cut stone or at least make a, engrave a mark on it? or it there any that will, letter logos badges, the way this one open could just placed any where on surface, over handing out sized shapes of material, the fir time in this video that you repeat the last job over and over, getting deeper into what cutting, I have not relise that was a thing they could do?
Freeze-frame at 22:08. Read the manufacturer's label. Third line down. How they spelled "focus" as "FOUCS". For FOUCS sakes, haven't they got a proofreader in the production dept.?? 😁😆😅 Nice review, though. These devices just keep getting better!
Holy crap ... I just bought the Shadow Torch ... what a beauty ... lights up the whole garden and the neighbours 😯 ... tried it on the family and they can't watch TV for a few minutes 😁 ... Amazon currently have them for £27.99 but there's a 15% off voucher, so I only paid £20.99 ... thanks for the recommendation fella ... love the video too ... P.S: Just waiting for the Falcon 2 Pro 40W to come down in price again ... missed the £1,200 deal by a week ...
Well... my gast is well and truly flabbered! If I have to choose content type, that's a tricky one. I fell in love with you when you were making the most amazing craft work so I'm edging that way. BUT, I've since ordered the XTool D1 Pro following your review. Having been humming and haring for way too long you helped me make the final decision and, much to my surprise, the wife agreed!!! Coming up to 3 weeks later, the XTool is still sealed in the box due to a total lack of time on my part but it's going to see the light of day very soon and It's going to be like Christmas' from my childhood all over again 😀 Thanks for all the work you put in to your content, everyone is a goldmine of quality information and inspiration. Final verdict... more crafts please. The BIG problem with your new reviews is that I now have a still boxed D1 Pro sitting here in the workshop and I'm left wondering if I should have waited. The Problem with that logic is I'll never get around to forging that life worth living you keep telling me to! 😖 Favorite video - Moth Cocktail Holder 👍👍👍 Cheers
Thank you so much. If it makes you feel better I'm keeping my D1 and raffling off the Falcon2 in fact this week I'm adding extensions on the D1 and using a proper lightburn camera. I'm making a few things with it that hopefully you'll enjoy. D1 is a quality machine and should last a long time too. I've also got 5 other lasers to show so I can only say just be content with what you have and enjoy the projects as they'll all be able to be done with the D1. More smithing coming too. Cheers J
I assume the weather is warming up, judging by the fuel level of your heater fuel tank in this video; or perhaps all your laser activity has made it redundant. Thanks to your heater review/recommendation, the tropical 'folly' (white sapote) in my greenhouse survived our Canberra Winter this season... I'm still calculating the fuel versus labour of love reward. 😂 Excellent review as always JD.
Thank you. Ive had it on a couple of times in recent weeks mainly to dry everything from the high humidity levels from lots of recent rain. I bought 1000lrs of kerocene in June which was £0.60 per litre. I've also got two more heaters that I'll show in a future video. cheers j
Was very informative and i find you rather amusing. Id like to get one of these laser machines but im retired and can't afford one. Too bad i missed your give away. I look forward to seeing your other videos.👍👍
Laser cutting and 3d printing knitting machines are my favorites till now. Very good job on the idea of machine building. Would love to see more of these. Perhaps the knitting machine project can be improved further? There is no other content creator that has done something related to knitting and 3D that I remember seeing. And I do follow lots of makers. An open source projects review and comparison would be very helpful. The costs and profits estimates are also very appreciated. Overall your videos are helpful and unique to me due to the the content and your humor. I see your channel growing whatever you do, so Skynet's benevolence is only a matter of time more than what consumers like. Connections with other channels will give you a well deserved boost for sure. Cheers and thank you!
Thank you so much. Yep as soon as time allows I'll be back onto perfecting the sock machine and raw wool processing. It's going to be an epic project. In the meantime I have a lot of other projects to complete such as the home power plant etc. All the very best. Cheers J
I have the fully enclosed Falcon 2 60 watt, but after I purchased it I decided I also wanted an open frame unit for certain tasks. Since I already had a 60watt and 1.5 watt head, I ordered the open frame with a 10 W head. I have several good quality laser goggles in case I have a helper/spectator. There are plenty of projects that don't fit in my enclosed laser, so the open frame is a great help. Believe me, I take the risks damn seriously, just as I do with my table saw, planer, jointer, router, etc.,. If you don't feel comfortable with a tool you shouldn't use it. But you shouldn't make that judgement for other people. I've spent almost 70 years doing "dangerous" things, on the sea, under the sea, in the air, and in my basement, and I've managed to remain in one piece so far. A little fear keeps us safe, too much and it ruins all the fun.
I'm blessed to be able to play with the latest technology. I think these machines make good retirement hobbies as the machine is doing the work for you. Cheers J
I realy hope this review was useful to you and I would love to hear your thoughts on future video ideas?

The thumbnail alone was enough for me to never buy this, 40W and no safety enclosure is a big NO GO for everyone.
Thank you so much. Cheers J
Love the way you explain all the nuances of the various machines . i have never considered a laser cutter for accurate small parts made of wood . this has given me a new perspective on how i proceed with my new hobby . Thank you for all your content
hi .. you seem pretty proficient with light burn. How about some tutorials on using it.. tips and tricks?
Thank you. definately i'll be doing a complete tutorial soon. cheers J
I was impressed with the ability to cut leather patterns, it never dawned on me that that machine could be used for that purpose. Thanks for such a wonderful demonstration.
Thank you, I'm glad it was helpful. Cheers J
Cheers J
How heavy is it as shipped? @@joshuadelisle
@@glenmattson3765 I can't remember sorry.
This is pretty cool to see.
Blows my mind to know that there are countries that doesn't allow their citizens to protect themselves.
Loved the video, the narration, the editing, highlighting the mistakes etc. Great job! I made a similar pouch but modified it so the top edge of the flashlight ended up being at the same height as the top edge of the multitool so it wouldn't dig into my side whenever I sit down or bent over.
Well done that's awesome. Thank you so much. If you're on Instagram please tag me because I would love to see your creations. Cheers J
I like these videos. I don't know why anyone else is not watching them. I think you have a quirky sense of humor. Which I thoroughly enjoy. And I hope you have a wonderful day.😊
Thank you so much. I'm really grateful you enjoyed it. Cheers J
This is the kind of content I like. Good video quality, pleasant tempo (not to high), interesting mix of product review and actual use / segues and a bit of fun poking now and then. It was enjoyed. Thank you, dear sir.
Thank you so much. I'm really glad you liked it. Cheers J
I like everything you do so I can't help you with that one sorry. Your sense of humour is wonderful. I was a teacher of how to make and do myself for many years and I can tell you like helping people, it shows, and it is a joy.
Thank you so much. Life is always best shared. Cheers J
Superb! Thank you!
Thank you so much. I like to help as best as I can and if there are any negatives then I try to point them out. All the very best. Cheers J
Well done for discovering all that. Cheers J
Thank you so much. Cheers J
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it. More to come. cheers J
I watched your demonstration of the new laser competition as well as other lasers you advertised did a great job of seeing how they work and good and bad features. Thanks a lot.
Thank you so much. Lots more to come. Cheers J
Excellent content. Including an actual project with some detail is a huge bonus. Appreciate your honest reviews very much.
Thank you so much. I'll continue to bring more. Cheers J
Joshua, I went ahead and ordered the Falcon 40W. Your discount code saved me a substantial amount of money on top of the reduced price right now on the Creality site. Thanks again for the great content and objective approach to product review. Looking forward to projects!
Well done. thank you so much, I hope you get good use from it. cheers J
hopefully you had combined the haloween-price with the code. that was possible. saved a few hundred €....
Purchased the Falcon 2 based on this review and also comparing with your earlier videos. Thanks for the discount code ! I already made the crosshairs laser mod. Thanks for the great content , down to earth and honest reviews.

I bought one too,but couldn’t figure out steel engraving…. Any link to that crosshair laser pointer? Thanks
@@TheBlackDove there should be a Link in the description for you. Cheers J
Cheers J
I would prefer a less confrontational introduction…. I hate being shouted at! But I did persevere and the information was instructive and worthwhile
One of the few people that didn't dislike these open lasers and actually praised it. Great review
Thank you so much, yes these machines are getting very powerful and very useful but also more dangerous. I've got lots more coming soon. cheers J
The reviews are great and you using them to create projects helps give current owners and potential future owners inspiration and a better understanding of the ability and application of the equipment in real world applications. The use of rotary tools and engraving/cutting different materials for use in projects would be great videos.
Thank you so much. I've done much with the rotary tools but I can give it a go. Cheers J
@@RagingShrimp67 that sounds like a great idea. I did share the standard test I did but maybe I could have shared the visual differences. Cheers J
Why am I not surprised about the difference in the wood treatment? Excellent video!
Great video Josh, very informative (real-life application and issues). Have often thought how nice it would be to be able to engrave/precision cut various materials. My biggest fear, if I ever got this machine, how to keep my son from absconding with it. Will definitely check out more of your videos.
Thank you so much. Safety is a big issue with the open systems. I'm reviewing the more closed safety systems soon. Cheers J
I just ordered the 40 watt falcon2 pro. This crosshair laser trick is sweet. I will see if this can be done on it when it arrives.
It would be cool if you did a DIY video on how you built your "powered air respirator".

I did it on my channel. Cheers J
Cheers J
Great content,i love how versatile these machines are,the possibilities are endless. Oh & theres nothing wrong with us hoarders 😂👍

Cheers J
I was the same, I really wanted the xtool, but now I think this may be the better option. 🤔 😕
This was a useful way of spending my time picking up a few pieces on the laser/-cutting/-engraving topic.
Thanks man!
Yes the best reviewer on yt
You're very kind. Thank you.

Thanks for the video. Just a note: USB Type-C and OTG are not the same thing.

Yes it certainly can engrave certain types of stone. I did a short video on that. Cheers J
Freeze-frame at 22:08. Read the manufacturer's label. Third line down. How they spelled "focus" as "FOUCS".
For FOUCS sakes, haven't they got a proofreader in the production dept.?? 😁😆😅
Nice review, though. These devices just keep getting better!
Lol that's unfortunate. Looks like a mistake my dyslexic brain would make. Cheers J
This IS the kind of content I like, and I give it 10 bonus points since you sound exactly like Douglas Reynholm from The I.T. Crowd!
Very nice video, I am new to laser work and you have some of the best information to help me move to the next level. Thank You
Thank you so much. Cheers J
Well... my gast is well and truly flabbered! Coming up to 3 weeks later, the XTool is still sealed in the box due to a total lack of time on my part but it's going to see the light of day very soon and It's going to be like Christmas' from my childhood all over again 😀
Thanks for all the work you put in to your content, everyone is a goldmine of quality information and inspiration.
Final verdict... more crafts please. The BIG problem with your new reviews is that I now have a still boxed D1 Pro sitting here in the workshop and I'm left wondering if I should have waited.
The Problem with that logic is I'll never get around to forging that life worth living you keep telling me to! 😖
Favorite video - Moth Cocktail Holder 👍👍👍
Cheers
Thank you so much. If it makes you feel better I'm keeping my D1 and raffling off the Falcon2 in fact this week I'm adding extensions on the D1 and using a proper lightburn camera. I'm making a few things with it that hopefully you'll enjoy. D1 is a quality machine and should last a long time too. I've also got 5 other lasers to show so I can only say just be content with what you have and enjoy the projects as they'll all be able to be done with the D1. More smithing coming too. Cheers J
@@joshuadelisle Great news Josh. I'm all fired up and ready to go👍 Will sleep a little better after this so thanks again 👏
Excellent review as always JD.
Thank you so much. I have a new video coming out this weekend. Cheers J
Just came across this channel and really enjoyed this video. Absolutely brilliant job.
Thank you so much. Cheers J
Loved this so much I bought one from your link. But they sent me a 22w instead of the 40w. I have been getting the run around for 2 weeks.
That's disappointing to hear. Was it definitely the 40w link? If you have an order number I can see what I can do for you. Cheers J
It is pretty impressive what people can do in their home shop these days. I wish these machines existed when I was young.
I'm blessed to be able to play with the latest technology. I think these machines make good retirement hobbies as the machine is doing the work for you. Cheers J
