2019 sucked. Start of the most annoying pseudo-dynasty in NFL history. For me, it’s social media culture and generic / boring presentation that have brought the league down from where it used to be. The early 2010s were the last years that each network had unique score graphics instead of the lame ones everyone uses now, that kickoffs were actually meaningful, that the league wasn’t totally dominated by social media etc. etc. it’s still football so I’ll keep watching until it becomes too unbearable, but it’s definitely not as cool as the old NFL was.

@@dmetal1221 Are you dumb? The first two 49ers field goals only happened because the refs missed 4 obvious PI. And the play the original commentor is referencing is a PACKERS player being offsides, so how is that included in one of many. Lmao.
this game dates micah hyde like crazy forgot how old he was 11+ years as a safety is crazy
Rodgers had a great career in Green Bay, but oh lord, how I wish he had risked more in the crucial moments of these playoff games.
Right so it’s his fault!! 🤡
I just think Rodgers wasn’t that great in the cold. The one super bowl he won was all road games with his best two games being in Atlanta and than the super bowl in Dallas. It ain’t easy tryna throw a brick in freezing conditions. Unfortunately packers suffered a lot of close heart breaking playoff loses at home.
I get u, Not saying Rodgers is at Fault for losing these games, but I wished he ran and took off sometimes in the redzone when no one was home, I wished he would’ve ran against Tampa in the redzone during the NFC title game just didn’t wanna take those hits I understand 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
@@connieq281110 points in 45+ minutes. At home. A lot of that is on Rodgers
@@MichaelMurphy-kj3xf if your an actual football fan then you would know that it was a defensive struggle. These type of games happen every year. It was definitely not Rodgers best game. He could have played better.
Thanks for posting nfl throwback!
Skipped 10 years of football due to hardships. Started to watch football regularly again in 2022. So many things had changed since then.
What hardships stopped you from watching football?
This game looked more competive than any game I watched all this year. Crazy how the league has changed.
whyd i watch this drunk late at night. i remember this one too. same story. dropped picks. another heartbreaker.
Finally y’all posted this game
Dam maaan Rodgers was never able to make the team that overlooked him in the NFL draft regret not drafting him🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
They chose Alex Smith over him, I’m sure they ultimately regretted not drafting him.
GB about to get their asses kicked again
😂😂😂 How did that one work out for you?
Anquan Boldin was a fucking BEAST. People dont seem to remember him or give him enough credit for an oustanding career...one of the most powerful, hardest hitting, tough to bring down WRs to ever play.
Also, Frank Gore 4 HALL OF FAME
Kaepernick was a beast. One of the all-time great 49ers .
Thanks Kap, i went to this game w/my brother who's a die hard Packer fan, i'll never forget it. Sincerely, a former Niners fan(i gave up on them when they let the league blackball you)
I will always wear my #7 Kaepernick jersey never buying another Niners jersey
Micah Hyde catches that pick and pack wins
in stride yes, but not standing still
Apparently Aaron Rodgers was "immunized" against beating the Niners in the playoffs.
Immunized against his own defense
14:20 Favorite Catch By Crabtree, Make That Grab In That Weather, On The Road, In The Playoffs? Big Time
He made a couple big ones against Seattle in the NFCC including one in between like 3 defenders, but apparently he was a sorry receiver lmao
Lmao kap going in on that INT return
One of kapernick’s best games he went super saiyan this game
The packers played the 49ers in the playoffs in 2022 and the 49ers won 13 to 10 by a game winning field goal.
Rodgers said he wanted the 49ers on his turf in the postseason and thought it would be a difference maker. NOPE…..😂
Stop blaming it on Rodgers. Pack defense was clearly the problem, Last 5 minutes of the 4th & He didn't even touch the ball. IDK if you haven't noticed, But Rodgers doesn't play Defense. Rodgers was Phenomenal
As a Packer fan, I'm so sick of losing to these guys in the playoffs 😮💨
It use to be a back and forth thing. But they have our card. Let's hope not tonight
Seriously, how did Kaep end up being 1-10 in 2016? Looked like a good QB in the above video.
Injuries/poor coaching doesn’t help
shell of a team he had before...plus he broke the bro code and stole Aldon Smith's girl. locker room split between offense & defense...Aldon was a woman beater though 🤷🏻♂️
Came to watch this underrated slug out should be fun seeing the new guys next week bring back this classic rivalry
GB had opportunities. They definitely let that game get away from them. That last possession had some garbage calls in the redzone . They moved the ball decently and to only come out with 3 pts that killed them on this game
Gets tight down there, you can say the same about San Fran getting inside the 10 first two drives and coming away with fg’s
@10:50 91 was held the shit out of
Frank gore immediately sprinting to the locker room after 🤣
As A Packer Fan I hate and respect Colin Kaepernick at the same time
😢😂 damn i still remember us getting torched by kap!! Crazy to see the evolution of the game now. Go pack go!!
The blitz pickup by Gore on the 3rd and 8 in the 4th quarter was a goddamn thing of beauty.
1991 NFC championship game Washington redskins vs lions.
Colin Kaepernick passed for 263 yards and ran the San Francisco 49ers right back to the NFC Championship Game with a 45-31 win over Green Bay in an NFC divisional game at Lambeau Field. He rushed for a quarterback-record 181 yards and two touchdowns and threw two scoring passes to Michael Crabtree. He feels like I had a lot to prove to a lot of doubters who say he couldn’t lead his team to the playoffs. A lot of people doubted his ability to lead his team.
That game was at Candlestick the year before this
Aaron Rodgers is still playing in the NFL at 40 years old and not in a Packers uniform, but playing for the New York Jets.
For me the end of the 2019-2020 season was the end for REAL FOOTBALL, thanks for giving us this underrated classic
What changed to not make it real football to you?
@@kennyjamesizzo93 just the feel of it and the start of the 2020's doesn't help either
I wasn’t even watching football daily at that time because I wasn’t coming back until Tom Brady left New England. I quit watching football daily after Super Bowl 51 and Super Bowl 52 was the last game I ever watched until he left the Patriots.
2019 sucked. Start of the most annoying pseudo-dynasty in NFL history. For me, it’s social media culture and generic / boring presentation that have brought the league down from where it used to be. The early 2010s were the last years that each network had unique score graphics instead of the lame ones everyone uses now, that kickoffs were actually meaningful, that the league wasn’t totally dominated by social media etc. etc. it’s still football so I’ll keep watching until it becomes too unbearable, but it’s definitely not as cool as the old NFL was.
it was never the same after Super Bowl 49
Kap owned Roger's
15:46 play it at .25 and watch the ball literally go through the open space between his arms. So close to blocking it
Came over to the US for a holiday in Wisconsin and managed to buy regular tickets to this game
Kaepernick has more road playoff (3) wins that Montana and Young combined, mainly because the 49ers almost always played at home.
Goddamn Kaepernick
Miss these game graphics it was peak Fox
Eventually yall can post the mud bowl 96 playoff game....might not have been a classic but it's nostalgic
I love how Aaron Rodgers got away from that sack cus of Blatent holding 😂😂
I remember this game like it was last year ❤️💛
NFL throwback posting this in perfect time for this coming weekend's game lol
imagine how good kap would be under a shannahan offense
Damn I forgot about Vernon Davis
kaepernick had so much potential. shame
He dated a social justice activist and the rest is history
Got blackballed by the league
8:58 - you can't convince me Aldon Smith wouldn't have been a 1st ballot HOFer if not for his off field issues
Smith was different 5.5 sacks in ONE GAME
McCarthy has hated the 9ers for a long time 🤣
Thanks for posting this people weather they love or hate kap forget or just don't know he was elite in 12 an 13 beat rodgers back to back years .. I mean he had a rocket arm bullet speed plus his accuracy was improving... had we kept some of the guys we lost stayed healthier and kept jim kap is still the 49ers qb to this day most likely with a ring or 2
3:27 the way rodgers gets slammed 😂
2013 NFC championship game 49ers vs. Seahawks
That boy Tramon ROCKED Kap 😂 at 4:10
Look Mike McCarthy losing in the 1st Round. Things don't change.
Dude has a superbowl
Rodgers choked a lot
@@MichaelMurphy-kj3xfWhat's your definition of choking?
I believe he choked in 4-5 playoff games out of 21 games he had been in but that's not a lot.
A great QB has to be the favorite and plays bad and loses on a better team for me to call it a choke.
This game isn't definitely one of them even though he played bad after coming back from a broken collarbone injury but he definitely wasn't the favorite or had the better team.
We agree that he choked against the Giants(I guess everyone choked against the giants in 2012)... Against Seahawks that goes down as a choke even though it was stuff I blame more in the 4th Quarter but he played horrible..He choked against Tampa and San Fran.
@@supaseru Yes. I suppose your description is more accurate
