Been looking for something like this for my on-wall rear speakers. Couldn't ever figure out what it might be called until I ran across your video. Thanks.

Good video. I tried the wall bushings, but was unhappy as it never sat entirely flush against the drywall. I ended up going with the Datacomm Hole Saw Plate (45-0006-WH) which are 2" x 2" (used for speakers and HDMI cables). Highly recommend them. Sold @ Monoprice & Amazon.

I appreciate you sharing the challenge you had. I suppose success may depend on the material. My walls have a plaster coat which may hold the bushing a bit better. I will keep your tip in mind should I run into problems in the future.-Jon

I will use these Plugs for my speakers, I was worried about adding additional connections with to many bannana plugs from wall outlet to speaker. This is a great solution

Yes - this approach I still to be good. If you can minimize the number of termination the signal path should be better. -Jon

Thank you so much for this solution! I had two Jacklegs I found on Yelp install 2 Klipsch R-5502-W II in-walls and was not pleased at their lack of attention to detail once they were finished. All they did was drill holes in the drywall near the baseboard with no sort of bushing or plate; just a wire coming through the wall. I was HEATED!! I considered doing Monoprice wall plates but the Skywalker Dual Feed-Through Bushings seem to be a better option for aesthetics especially when I plan on selling my home in the future. Thank you!!

I was unaware of a feed through bushing, thanks a lot.
