At 36 he scored more goals than Harry Kane in the premier league and was in the team of the year, despite being in a dreadful United team. He was clearly deeply affected by the passing of his daughter which undermined his performances during the World Cup. He is now in a better place and will be a big asset for Portugal at the Euros.
