    I would recommend going for the 3.2 (4M41) rather than the 2.5 (4D56).
    Timing chain vs timing belt.
    And a whole list of other things. It's the preferred engine to work on in the workshop.

    I absolutely love my MN Triton, done 125,000kms, doesn't use any water or coolant at all, just put a brand new heavy duty clutch, oil catch can/EGR block and about to get the intake system all cleaned out, before I take it up north in a few weeks.
    A mate of mine put 70,000kms on his 2015 MN and in that time he's had to put 3 new motors in it (Under warrenty) in the end he got sick of it and traded it for an MR, luck of the draw I guess but everyone else I know has never had an issue, even my company rep used one and put 450,000kms on it before it was written off, now they gave us a pair of dealer run out MQ's hahaha

      Nice one! Sometimes you can get the odd lemon. This one went to a new home recently... Pretty sure it'll keep going forever!

      Also keen to hear your feedback. The triton is the unsung hero of the 2wd ute market. Great bang for your buck although the 2020 price hike for all used 4wd diesels has hit them as well.

    Hi John,
    How did they install this toolbox? Is that metal framing (under toolbox) bolted to the tube? I'm considering getting new version of triton but I need toolbox tho

    From your perspective, Ausie, how reliable is the Triton/L200 compared to the Hilux and D-Max?

    • @TheAussieFloof
      @TheAussieFloof 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very, my rep used one and put 450,000kms on it before it was rear ended and written off, mind you it was mostly highway driven

      Triton has an enviable reliability reputation. I would go with a Mitsubishi if you want trouble free motoring every time!
