@@reactionforall584 In fairness to you, the game never actually tells you how to use this. When I first played the game as a kid, I did the same thing and was confused how to get into some of the secret areas.

How do you transform into different enemies with axl again?
You have to kill the enemy with Axl's secondary attack (in base form) it should be triangle.
It only works for specific enemies as well.
