@rakhoo5236 nah see this is where I draw the damn line. He's an ultimate emitter with a fuck ton of aura. He was an ultimate emitter, but he still has 80/40/20% of a fuck ton in other fields he didn't even begin to tap into. He had a LOT of room to grow. Considering how much he held back in the Netero fight and still absolutely washed him. He probably could've used any field to win that and who knows he could've even survived the bomb if given too much time.
@rakhoo5236 The way I understand it is that Meruem was always a proficient nen user since birth. As shown when he hits Pitou for telling him something involving nen which he already knew. We just usually never see Meruem dabble with nen because he was able to solve most of his problems with pure raw stats. After the rose bomb and Meruem’s rebirth we see him actually dabble with nen, and he immediately uses Pouf’s and Youpi’s abilities better than they ever possibly could on his first try. Meruem still has nigh infinite potential due to his ability to gain more aura and nen abilities from eating other living beings.
Being ultimate doesn't exactly mean hitting your potential cap but it means you are at max proficiency in your category. Being ultimate means you are more skilled and efficient at using your nen type than someone who is great. The people in Ultimate have access to insane abilities that are strong and efficient. Meruem can turn his aura into light and has en for miles with insane detail, Gon enhanced his entire body to use all of his aura he will ever have in on the spot, Is basically Shenron and so on. Being ultimate is is proficiency and not potential, you'll have a broken nen ability if you hit ultimate.
yeah, when this came out that's what i recall seeing translators say. edit: found it "These ratings represent the overall proficiency at this point in time, factoring in ones in native learning, speed, physical abilities, mental fortitude, etc. They do not represent the relative strength of one’s Nen. A nen user who currently rate as genius can quickly fall to the excellent or great ranks due to a lack of training, etc. the ultimate rating means that the user has reached the apex of attainable technique. It does not represent one’s innate talent."
Abengane really is the perfect example of how this isn't power scaling in terms of fighting capability. He explicitly is weaker than Genthru, but he's also able to exorcise the Countdown hatsu.
Hey man, thanks because you came with this video because I had a question about something recent from manga. Going straight to the point, Chrollo currently wants to evolve Skill Hunter, and we know that Togashi ranked him as a genius. Is there any chance that Chrollo wanna reach ultimate level on Skill Hunter? And if yes, then how do you think is Skill Hunter going to work at ultimate level?
Chrollo thank you for all of the continued support man, hope you're having a great holiday season! I talk about this in my latest video here: th-cam.com/video/0tBe29d9RIM/w-d-xo.html Also the pinned youtube comment contains a link to a few other videos talking about this stuff too just in cast you hadn't seen them yet!
He did reveal Killua to be a higher tier than Gon. I think he was a genius rn, but since he’s a dual nen user, it will be harder for him to be ultimate user because he would need to master both nen types.
Can you do a video where you go into depth on what you think the calamities are and what role they're gonna play in the story if any. You made one already on just what was shown in the manga but it's so short and I feel with how creative and communicative you are you could make one predicting their abilities, how they were found , how they affected the world after they were brought back. Thank fan of the channel 🙏🏿 much love
I don't think I understand how meruem was an emitter, I thought he was a specialist given that he absorbed Youpi's and Pouf's abilities by eating their aura
that ability could have been an advanced enhancement technique as well, since we know now that enhancement has more applications than initially thought
I could actually write a freaking paper on why I actually think Meruem isn't ultimate. I guess it could all be explained by "Hes an ultimate emitter with a metric fuck ton of aura, so in terms of his potential in other fields and nen as a whole he actually wasnt even close to the ceiling" but like comon thats an individuals circumstances! Ah fuck it I digress. The GOAT has spoken.
He is ultimate because of his only nen ability which he uses to turn his aura into light that can see everything for a long distance. He hasn't reached his potential at all, but he is proficient in emission. I think the youtuber misunderstood the info.
If you look at the trends, i don't think so, the people in the extreme rank are either people who have been training for decades (Zeno, Bisky, Netero) or had their power level artifically "maxed out" (Alluka, Gon, Meruem). The only anomaly would be Abegane, who I think is there because of how in touch he was with the "spirit" of nen - as far as I recall we haven't seen anything close to his feat of borrowing aura from local fauna and flora to power-up his hatsu anywhere else
Morena seemingly has 2 hatsu related to contaigon, extremely detailed and advanced ability which allows for other people to speedrun nen abilities and also allows her to spread her hatsu to other people so they can infect more people and take over the world. It doesn't get much more ultimate than that.
One person's "ultimate" is another person's "great." Can't compare someone to others based on how much of their own potential they've reached. Kubo did a similar thing with the captain stats in the first Bleach databook. For example, Komamura has the same "power" stat as Aizen and Zaraki, but that doesn't mean he stands a chance against them. That's because Komamura has only reached 100% of his own potential; meanwhile the potential of others is far greater.
I'm kinda spreading the theory. It would make sense why Kite was always complaining about his weapons if this was "true." Ging said he thought Kite everything he knew about nen that probably meant his abilities, too. Ging is a control freak. He probably chose Kite's nen abilities and which manifests when. It would also explain why Ging knew so much about Kite's abilities despite them being "Random". I think Ging chose the situations when abilities will come out, and Kite doesn't know those specifics 😢 (hence random), but Ging was confident about the ability that showed up in the Pitou fight.
Can we really say that somebody who doesn't even know nen exists is wielding it at the peak proficiency? Komugi was immensly talented and skilled for somebody in her circumstances, but she did still have room to grow, the ultimate category is for people who reached their absolute limits of potential as far as nen is concerned
I feel like Togashi has made Meruem way less scary than he was before that exhibition. Revealing him as an Emitter was a huge blow, since it means his powers would be limited to the normal Nen rules. And revealing him as an Ultimate user means that what we saw of him was his peak. He wasn't going to get any stronger than that.
wtf are you talking about? Meruem was the most powerful being ever by the time he died, no information revealed after the fact makes that less impressive
You didn't got anything from what manganimist said. The ultimate level goes just for the mastery of someone's hatsu, if you wanna call it like this. Meruem was able to devour/eat someone and get their nen aura as well as developing some hatsus. This was his hatsu and he couldn't evolve any further from this point, but his strenght, yes.
@@Flavio-bn7ne He is definitely still number 1. But, back then, he was more terrifying because he was supposedly an infant that would've gone on to grow to insane heights. And him being a specialist made it even more terrifying because that meant his abilities could be literally anything he desired. But, now he's not a specialist. And he's an ultimate user, which means he already reached his peak. He still is terrifying, just not as terrifying as he was previously.
Ay give yourself some credit you'd hit a few 1pointers against labron......maybe🤣 also shouts out to my girl biscuit and abengane cause being able to remove the chain is crazy in terms of how powerful it is an ability like arguably it could just shut down some top 20-30 characters in the series. Genuinely he's a crazy nen user.
Hisoka has reached Ultimate level due to him brushing death. As togashi sensei said that someone can level up to ultimate with extreme training, Luck or circumstances. Meruem was only 3-5 months old and was already Ultimate !
With no Nen training ! Just raw "built different" energy !
That means he reached his peak insanely fast meaning he wouldn't have grown as crazy fast in strength if he lived on

My favorite HxH character Lebron James!
I truly believe Abegane can exorcise contagion. Nen exorcists are so underrated.

All Togashi needs to do is to reveal Ging‘s abilities
We're definitely seeing his ability after this arc. (I may be slightly delusional)
Shit Hisokas assessment on ppl category has been spot on from all users we have seen
They forgot me, the master of spaghetti nen affinity
Bro thought he was slick not adding me💀
Pariston lowkey will be the ultimate manipulator seeing as he does that naturally without nen

2. Kashimo

7. Kashimo

Netero is an ultimate enhancer but uses emission nen, so it’s sound possible to become an ultimate in one and not the other

Manganamist...will u ever make kugarabachi chapter recaps?
@HaroonAltaf-mp8sc Yes still planning to, just have not had the time. Hopefully sooner now with HxH back on hiatus
What about Tseracnich?
Is this a reupload or am I experiencing Deja vu?
@@Lynellf I’ve referenced stuff about this info before but this is the first time we’ve talked about the 7 ultimate users
I don't think I understand how meruem was an emitter, I thought he was a specialist given that he absorbed Youpi's and Pouf's abilities by eating their aura
Could be just a trait of his Ant King nature. Everything he did other than that was Emission based.
that ability could have been an advanced enhancement technique as well, since we know now that enhancement has more applications than initially thought
I thought he is a specialist...is this canon coz people say netero is a enhancer but he is actually an emmiter.
Uvogin
Chrollo
Bisque
Zeno
Chrollo
Netero

As I see it just because someone is ultimate it doesn't mean they cant get stronger
Togashi himself classified Meruem as ultimate, there's nothing to argue
After that last two chapters I'm certain Morena has to be ultimate as well
I wonder if Morena would count as an Ultimate specialist

wouldnt kurapika be an ultimate nen user in every affinity with his scarlet eyes

Komugi was at the rank right below Ultimate guess she still had room to grow prob because she did it all unconsciously and never had real nen training
@@grahamjl766 she was ranked Genius so just below! But crazy to think she could have been *even better* at Gungi
