Looks sick 👌 I have Nitto NT555 G2 275/40/20 all around on my ScatPack Challenger and it definitely makes the look even better . Why Dodge chose 245 makes no sense to me. I would always spin tires on the stock 245s😂 . Love the video bro 💪hope to see more of your badass Challenger doing roll races or just cruising around🙌
Definitely a much needed upgrade, I never really understood why it never came standard with these tires. Does it handle turns significantly better compared to the stock 245s or is there really not much of a difference when driving?
@@KCars all seasons will probably(in genenral) last shorter then regular summer tires, as the rubber is softer. all seasons though.. will probably have more longevity then performance tires
Love the video. I own a 2020 Challenger Scat Pack shaker. Go Mango is the color. A lot like yours. I have been wanting to do the same. This answers my question. Thank you.
All Season tires are So So much better than getting summer tires! I ran the Goodyear Eagle F1s on my 392 for the first couple years and they wore out so fast and anytime it rained the car was all over the place. I've been using BFG Comp 2 A/S for years now and they are fantastic! They stick to the road wonderfuly and handle great in the rain. They also last quite a while!
Yup I’m glad I went with the 275 all seasons because they hook up perfectly and I know I wouldn’t have been able to drive in all conditions with summer tires
Hey! thanks for the video. I have stock 245/45 R20 tires installed on my Challenger GT. I'm planning to upgrade to 275/45 R20. Did you have any issues in the front? Specially on turning or on speed bumps? Also will installing 45 instead of 40 have any impact? Thanks.
I wouldn’t expect any issue from a GT since it has more space in the wheels wells than a ScatPack. Going with a 45 ratio will just make the sidewall larger. What size are your wheels?
Good video again. This kinda answers my questions on your other video. It’s the tires and the HP cause my spin and not much u can do about it besides new tires and manual then switch to auto. And yeah what someone else said, I figured out u can hold the wheel shifter for a couple seconds and it kicks to auto. Problem is dealer bought two new tires on the back for me lol. So I’m stuck with em for now.
Thanks! Ya these things really should’ve came with 275s stock. I find it easier to start in manual mode from a 2nd gear roll and then just put it back into auto so it will shift itself. It’ll shift itself even in manual mode if you hit redline but it will lag a little bit if it’s not in full automatic mode
Great video and thanks for the tips …I want to change my tires on my Challenger 6.4L very soon and your 2 videos helped a lot. Funny that you ordered some French tires 🛞 and you had to ship them 😂 Me i want some American ones and i will have to ship them to Europe. About unleashing the power of our motors everywhere in French we say «La force tranquille»…Means use it wisely 😉
True Ive seen people put 305s on the stock wheels and I’m not sure how that would work out. I haven’t had any issues with these tires on the stock wheels
@@KCars the brand is lionhart. Check them out on American muscle. I had no issues. I did feel a difference like it was heavier when driving idk maybe it's me lol. My pictures are on that site also if you wanna see them. Sorry if I asked this before but your kooks headers gave you a extra 48 HP?
The tires can seem pinched by the wheel not being wide enough and it can cause them to not perform to their full potential in terms of giving the most efficient surface area or contact patch to the road
@@KCarsOK, thanks for that answer! After I asked that question, I bought some new 9.5" rims from American Muscle. Now, being the greedy bastard I am😂, what are the widest tires that will perform well on a 9.5" rim? And do you know how wide you can go before they start to rub on a stock narrow-body Scat? I appreciate your knowledge, I'm new to Mopar....
@@conanlive3784 I’m not exactly sure how wide you can go without rubbing in the front but I think in the rear you should be good with 305s or maybe 315s but the tire manufacturer usually has suggested wheel widths for their tires

It's scary that they offer these cars with a 245 tire. RT and above should come stock with a 275. Just for safety. You have balls of steel riding around on those for YEARS. Gamblin man lol.
Nobody buys these cars and cares about mpg,, howevver.... how much mpg did you lose going from 4 corners of 245's to 4 corners 275s? I'm thinking of doing 295's in the rear tomorrow with 245s on front still.
I didn’t really notice a change because I didn’t really pay attention to it, like you said, nobody buys these cars and cars about mpg. Probably didn’t make much of a change though

How much did the 275's run you? I'm getting a 2022 charger scat pack and I didn't add it in my package I just figured I'd upgrade to them later.
My 2018 came with the performance package 275'S 9.5 hellcat wheels.

Definitely a much needed upgrade, I never really understood why it never came standard with these tires. Does it handle turns significantly better compared to the stock 245s or is there really not much of a difference when driving?
I haven’t really pushed the car around turns but I’m assuming it’s better. Straight line acceleration hooks up a lot better with these

@@hanzen5174That makes no sense lol. 60% of the time it’s works every time
I widened my rear rims to 10" and put Nitto 555 G2 295 40 20s on the back.
