Interesting shape! It seems like so many vases that I see being turned by so many wood turners look like urns. It's nice to see something different. The grain in the wood is marvelous too!

Can I send you some wood I have some bamboo if you would like some bamboo from one of my trees and I lost a lot of trees and tree limbs from the hurricane Hurricane Ian . Magnificent!!!! The way the blue resin settled into every nook and cranny was truly beautiful. I can't remember if you used Olive wood before or not, but I'd love to see more projects using it, combining it with resin brings out the beauty of it! 👍👀
Thank you so much 😀 yeah haven’t used much olive to be fair. Not very easy to source big pieces. But have a smaller blank already casted in black resin and have another even bigger piece waiting maybe for some green resin 😊

You know what, I normally realise that when the piece is already in the mould with hot glue that I wanted to use some spray release :)

this may be the first time I've seen someone trim a chunk of wood down, it's almost always started as square, which I've always thought was wasteful
