- This one flowed out like rivers of living water (John 7:38). I truly believe this message is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Its been on me for years. May we all seek Jesus. Seek Truth. Seek HIS way and preach the true Gospel, not our own. Many have their own agendas and entire church denominations have been born out of disagreements and conflicting views. I believe the Lord is bringing those who are seeking Him, the truth, to the radical middle. Some may hear this as prophetic, and some may hear this as common sense, but either way, may we continue to keep in step with Spirit and where He leads. God bless you all. We are the church.

Radical middle, I love it! When calvinists call you an arminian and arminians call you a calvinist. When OSAS call you a salvation loser and salvation losers call you an easy believist. When cessationalists call a holy roller and holy rollers call you an unbeliever. When KJV onlyists call you a modern Bible pervert and Bible perverts call you bibliolater. When trinitarians call you a blasphemer and onenessians call you a pagan.
When all the churches kick you out like they kicked out Jesus, then, and only then you can follow Jesus, outside the camp, bearing his reproach and enjoying the true fellowship.

I’m right there with you. The radical middle is exactly where God is calling us too. Complete belief in the Word of God and renewing our embrace of the Holy Spirit. I spent 20 years speaking in tongues in my prayer life without ever telling a soul, and in the past year God has created more encounters with believers on this very topic than I would’ve ever expected. 1 Cor 12 thru 14 are for the Body today. The Bible calls them “gifts” while the enemy has turned them into grenades. God bless you brother!

I do not know if you read these comments, I hope you do. I have always asked God to explain, worship in Spirit & truth. I think that is what this message was about. I have been in churches across the gammit from extreme conservative to almost holy rollers. Most have left me wondering what it means to worship in Spirit & truth. I was part of the Clavery Chapple movement in the 70's while they were still in a tent, before the split to become two distinct church movements, Calvery & Vinyard. One went the way of NO open move of the Spirit and the Other went to open move of the Gifts of the Spirit. I will tell you that both, because of division of worshiping in SPIRT & TRUTH have lost their first love. I am an ordained minister and have not attended a "church" of any sort because of this very issue. not so much on the journey to find the radical middle, but to find how to know Jesus and live the way He wanted and wants believers to not only live in Him but to walk out loving in Him. A lot of Christians "say we love you" but their hearts and actions are far from it. Jesus said the greatest is LOVE. If we do not have genuine love (laying your live down for another), then we are only noise. I do not want to be noise!

The Holy Spirit is the only one who can help us decrypt the holy Scriptures. So many mysteries in the Bible so many, but the Spirit reveals it to those who ask seek and knock. WOW I also just went through that journey! You've helped a lot so maybe this will help you: I'm a bible scholar, teacher and writer of biblical studies. God reminded me of my dear dad who passed away, and how I love to see his writings or hear tapes of his voice (fabulous singer). Jesus' words to me went something like, "just never forget your relationship is with ME, and I am LIFE." in other words, my relationship wasn't with my dad's writing and tapes, though they are so important to me. The relationship was with HIM. And God and Jesus are the same.They are the huge force BEHIND those words that never shuts down, even when ya close the book. BLESS YOU BROTHER!

I’m happy for you having that mindset about truth. The only problem with your desire to know the truth is that people are more afraid of heresy rather than having a love for the truth.
So, if you speak outside the denominational box they’re in, you will be tagged a heretic. This is what I’ve learned.
Please keep seeking the truth. You have to hear the lies in order to sort out the truth. The truth doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Be we need the Spirit of Christ(the Holy Spirit) for empowerment to discern that truth.

The manifestation of the sons of God has come and is in progress.
You are right, the scriptures are very valuable and as Jesus said, they point to Him.
So much has been lost or distorted after the first several centuries of the church, but a restoration is in progress.
One thing to add to your message is the personal, spoken word of God, rhema. In many ways the rhema of God is a marrying of the dunamis and the logos. Several places we see this application are Jesus words; man doesn't live by bread alone, but by every rhema that comes from God's mouth. Also, faith comes by hearing the rhema of God. The sword of the Spirit is the rhema of God.
Jesus also said that if we abide in Him and His rhema abides in us, we can ask and what we ask will be done.
Powerful stuff. Our perception of Father, Son, and Spirit are a huge key in our reading of scripture. If we view God as a judicial and angry God that is displeased with humanity, we will read and interpret scripture almost the opposite of one who knows God as a loving Father whose essence is pure love.
We become just like the one we worship.
I have been experiencing a radical transformation over the last 6 years or so and traditional, western, evangelical Christianity is a thing of the past. I don't know if this is a radical middle but it is a radical reality that many across the globe are experiencing right now.
This is so good brother! I'm in the same spot you are. I long to be part of a body that can keep both in harmony - some come close, but I haven’t found one that feels like they’ve got it down with respect to balance. God has given me a prophetic gift and it is extremely tough to walk it out when you fear speaking out of turn with God like I do; I find myself holding back because I’m so afraid of speaking falsely, even though God has used complete strangers to (prophetically) affirm me in this gifting.
I have experienced both the blessing and the damage that can take place in a body that allows such gifts to flow unchecked, and I’ve experienced the sadness and coldness of a body that is afraid to let the gifts flow at all. TH-cam is an absolute mess with respect to this and yet, it’s one thing that people flock time and again, even when the person prophesying has a terrible track record of being right. It’s no coincidence that the only time I’ve seen our church campuses packed to the gills is during Presbytery - a time where people in the church are prophesied over by people who TRULY operate in that gift.
It never gets old when you see people react to the Lord speaking to them like that; it’s truly miraculous to see a complete stranger speak things about a person’s life that they could never know other than by the Spirit of God - it never gets old. People are so desperate to hear from God. For those reading this, watch “Jesus Revolution” if you’ve never seen it - early on, they dealt with exactly the same problem. Sadly Calvary Chapel is very restrictive when it comes to the gifts, but they are very strong in the word. This is the church I grew up in when I became a believer. It’s a great movie and you can see how this scenario that Adam is talking about plays out in the body.
After mediation on 1 John a few years ago the Lord showed me that there are those who take His grace for granted, and don't think they need His truth. Then, there are those who take His truth for granted and don't balance it with grace ..
Lawbreakers and Law police, but right in the middle is the Cross ...where the perfect balance is...in Christ.
He's our perfect balance of Truth and Grace.
"And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." Luke 12:32 .
As we abide in Him, eyes only on Him, He can't help but bear fruit in our lives.

Just wanted you to know that I thank God for you and ask Him to continue to bless you with wisdom and continue to use you to speak to as many christians as possible. I say christians and not unbelievers because, I see us missing the point very often, I don’t know who said that the problem with Christianity are christians, I couldn’t agree more, we need to realize that our actitudes, our actions and our words are the best, but could be the worst, argument to testify to an unbeliever, we have a big responsibility. Wow... what happened? I think I already know because I can tell you came under the abuse of the "God told me to tell you" stuff (because I've been there) but you can't throw the baby out with the bathwater sister - you can't. @@bonniebarbee7984 It's not that - I can tell that this person has been subjected to spiritual abuse and the natural thing to do is to run as far away as you can from anyone and anything that serves as a proxy for that to happen. The gifts of God are incredible to see in operation when those gifts are handled properly and WITH GODLY OVERSIGHT. I have walked through some incredibly hard things in bodies that allow the gifts to operate without oversight. The difference is that I haven't run away from those gifts; rather I've matured as a believer and I now the Holy Spirit has given me very strong discernment to recognize when the spirit in operation is NOT the Holy Spirit.
The issue as I see it today, is that a LOT of believers absolutely do NOT know the Word like they should - so they follow after the signs and wonders which is an awful thing to do. I could go on and on about this for hours ...

No one should proclaim exclusivity on hearing from God; Our Lord clearly warns of those duped or bent into thinking they do well which should make it very serious to make any teaching or statement public. We must not stare at nor debate the roots but rather the fruit. Not the books read and thrown aside but the ones confirming or giving greater insight. Jesus never ran after anyone who rejected His message. Take Him or leave Him. We too will eventually fall regrettably onto one of two sides. Draw nearer to Cross but don’t forget yours behind.

Surround him with a hedge of protection as You have promised to keep us from every evil deed and deliver us safely into Your heavenly kingdom. Keep him, Lord. Give him the discernment that comes with practice. Guard hearts and minds from ERROR and give all a hunger and desire for You and Your Word. In Jesus' magnificent Name I pray, for Your glory. I sincerely appreciate your concern. I can see you care and that means a lot. You must understand my passion for truth. The Holy Spirit is the one leading me. I’m not interesting in mandating mountains and this movement or that. I want Jesus and the fullness of the Spirit. I desire Him and to know Him above all. You must also understand that I have several godly men around me, all older and wiser in age and spiritual maturity. The Lord has blessed me greatly in this area. I’m not a Lone Ranger just wandering around and stumbling from one idea to the next. There are safeguards, and so much prayer.
This is why many are scared of the radical middle. It’s “too close” to one side of the aisle or the other. It’s a lot like stepping out the boat. It feels uncomfortable and might be somewhere you’ve not been, but Jesus is right there with you. I sincerely appreciate your love and concern. I haven't been able to get to your videos for awhile...but so glad I had time now..to see your obedience to get this truth out there. May all of the body of Christ have teachable hearts. And hearts for the Lord and truly hearts for one another.
But when each of us spend time with Him and we know Him more and our love is His love then, flowing out from us...think of the church that finally has the Love of God in every area of our lives.

Disciples were led by the Lord Himself for 3 years and misunderstood things. Here we are over 2,000 years later and the volumes of Bible versions stagger the imagination. None walked with an OT scroll under their arms yet the work was done. Far too many simply read about the work of others while the few in doing the work glean from the inspiring experiences of spiritual brethren and sisters. The “ism” suffix - like Catholicism, Marxism, Materialism all consist of structured hierarchies run under a singular leader - a human model of oversight. They all and will fail. We have a Godly ruler and we are all a royal priesthood. Pastor Adam nor I have any monopoly on perfection. We simply under ordinances strive for it by following our Commander-In-Chief.😊

Hereafter the world not for Him would be judged against Him. His Ministry (none other worthy except by extension) co-joined two sides; His sacrifice to build his church, his training and spirit to make disciples. A new creation of humans dead to the world and alive to Christ. Essential? Action. Movement. To follow. Call it the radical middle between Faith and Works; Trust. There is a middle ground where Our King’s life as a model to follow through the Spirit and our own as citizens through the Helper radically intertwine. There must exist an awful place, the one where light ends and darkness begins. He tells us we are the light of the world, not should, nor must nor will be. But as such we then act in accordance with the light. Some only reflect light - a moon to another sun. They will sadly fall dark when the sun they rely on perishes. A side note: no many NDE and online talkers about spirit…talking about a heaven? They saw a jesus…Yet let’s test the spirits. Our Jesus declares a Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God. His rule left out? My Lord rules over all, thank you!

@@lordsdisciple Generally speaking, Kingdom Now has to do with a line of thinking that WE can call down heaven's governance on earth so that things essentially operate here (on earth) the way they do there (in heaven). It's a very well-intentioned but hugely misguided understanding of the authority we have in Jesus, but the issue is that it runs against the plain teaching of scripture (surprise). The problem is this: The people that lead these kinds of movements may hear from God - so people (believers) make the jump that if one of these people gets something right, well then EVERYTHING they say is right, and even worse, that everything they are "hearing" is from God.
The prophetic is wonderful when there is oversight from the body (whether in leadership or in the laity) to keep people from being led astray - including those who prophesy. As well governed as the church I go to is, we STILL deal with this problem and I'm not even in any of the leadership. I've said it before and I'll say it again - The church of Corinth ran short in NONE of the gifts, yet Paul said they were carnal. When you follow after signs and check your brain at the door because someone accurately prophesies or miraculous healings take place and demons are cast out it's a huge problem because moving in the gifts IS NOT A SIGN OF GOD'S ENDORSEMENT ON THAT PERSON OR CHURCH! Listen, JUDAS operated in the gifts...(!!). God said in Deuteronomy 13 that he (God) would essentially let false prophets (that prophesied ACCURATELY) in amongst the children of Israel to TEST them... that ought to give us great pause! We test everything by the Word of God and when we can't (such as in words of knowledge given to an individual that apply specifically to that individual) we test the FRUIT. Hope that helps.

Throughout recorded history our God Creator employs a making-process of division and reunification. Read the many splits in Genesis in RE-creation with so many separations of light/darkness, dry/water and even woman from man. They then come together to REproduce. Abram is called out. Taken captive. Called out of Egypt, and so on. The Lord calls out of Israel His own from Israel. The Father and the Son radically split to be REunited. The expected ones left in the field with another taken away. A woven pattern too lengthy to describe here but worthy of study because in what up-close may appear as a destructive crack to some is possibly the tearing in need of healing?
I don't like the phrase "the radical middle". To me it means that there is compromise in the word of God. That God will adjust his intent and word to get the people that are off into the land of evil to move toward him because he moves toward their wicked positions. So wrong. So, so, so wrong. Talk about leading people astray. Playing word games with God's word and intent. God's word is what it is. Yes, there are some arguments about interpretation, but God's intent doesn't change just because man's understanding of it might shift in one way or another. There is no middle ground to be had with the word and intent of God. No compromise.
The more I think about it the more that phrase disgusts me. It doesn't even make sense. Radical middle is a contradiction in terms and a silly word game politicians play. I despise that when trying to apply it to God's word. Disgusting.
Anyone who makes fun of people who strive to understand scripture fall into the swine category, as in "pearls before swine". You know what I'm talking about here.
That's not at all what he's saying or suggesting. He's talking about meeting in the middle of the two extremes. People who have never been around a move of God (prophecy, healing, etc.) are extremely uncomfortable with it UNTIL it happens to them. I had a friend of mine from an extremely rigid group of believers (about as close to modern-day Pharisees as you can get) who argued with me all the time about the gift of tongues. God finally settled the matter himself, when he received that gift in a dream and woke up speaking in tongues. Ironically, this was after a church service where it seemed as though God was addressing my friend's arguments directly through the guest pastor who was speaking; my wife and I still talk about that 20 years later. Needless to say we didn't have much disagreement after that...
So - I've been posting a lot on here, because this is a subject that is very near and dear to my heart, because I know the fear of these gifts from those who have never experienced them, and I know the damage that can be done when they are used without oversight to control and manipulate people. Paul says that we should EAGERLY desire the gifts and especially that we would prophesy (1 Corinthians 14). Just because someone or a church body operates in the gifts, doesn't mean they do so as a compromise to God's word. It's when those things REPLACE GOD'S WORD that it becomes what YOU are saying, and people are subsequently led astray and all manner of damage occurs.
It’s quite simple. God is the center of it all. His word and spirit go hand in hand. Cannot be separated. Men have tried to pull others in one direction or another that leads away from God and towards their own doctrines and what they’re comfortable with. The point here is that WE RETURN to the center of it all (Him), and be sound in both word and spirit. Nothing about this suggests compromising His word or intent. I’m not sure where you are getting that from. You’re assigning motives to me that I do not have and hearing things I have not said. Hope this helps bring clarity. God bless. 🙏🏼

To your opinions, that our God can balance Love and Justice in a middle so many cannot accept nor understand brands it radical. Some sort of middle also exists between the Father and Son whom He forsake on the Cross, just as we are far apart but met as He transcends the unholy middle as He pleases. Please do arise and carry on God’s work in your fashion and part of the world and may we all one day learn if your no-room policy holds fast? I think and believe that the prodigal son and father lived in a middle-experience, along with Abraham where pivotal decisions are made between history and Eternity.
