About a year ago ray came to me to be on a TH-cam video in which I mocked god and questioned everything he said was mentioned in the Bible. I come back in this comment section to now say I've been in church for 7 months straight now and have been baptized! I wish that video was posted it would be a great testament! God bless!

I don’t know why people think science and religion can not coexist, I wouldn’t consider myself a good religious person cause I only go to church once in a blue moon but I believe in god and I also study and follow science and through my studies I don’t see much contradictions for example the universe is perfect and if you look at how it came to be it’s like 1 in a gizillion chance that the universe should exist the way it does and I don’t find it hard to believe that a higher power doesn’t have anything to do with this

@Steven__Bills You don't have to make a sound yourself to use sound as a manipulation tactic. Sound has been used to subtly manipulate people for ages. For instance, it's done in horror films all the time. Theres plenty of other ways as well, even videos of ex religious people explaining how it's done.You're foolish to think otherwise. No, he didn't "make" the sirens. They're added in to play on the subconscious that this is something that needs to be paid attention to.

I did watch the video, and Comfort is as deceptive and manipulative as usual. It's not even remotely the truth. You christians are more than welcome to believe in false, mythical stone age gods and whatever they claim to offer. I prefer reality.

I used to subscribe to the Catholic Church from a very young age until I was in my late 40’s. I was no closer to Christ Jesus after all those years. I had to be born again and repent of my sins and trust in Jesus and his mercy. God bless all of you.

I’m so sorry you were so poorly catechized. The same happened to me. In the 60s, 70s, 80s, even 90s many were very poorly catechized. Thankfully things are better & getting even better. The majority of new priests are very traditional. The majority of very liberal priests are old and dying. There are many TH-cam videos of Protestants and former Catholics who came back to the Catholic Church or have come into the Catholic Church. Their testimonies are inspiring.
@@vilmasucy7579please pray about it. The Catholic Church has changed things to be man centered. They even changed the actual 10 commandments. Exodus 20, please research them. The Catholic Church deleted number 2 and split 10 into 2. There is no purgatory, when taking communion it’s not literally Jesus’ flesh and blood, we do it in remembrance and the bread and juice are just symbols of what Jesus did for us. Confessing sins to a priest won’t do anything for you. Jesus is who we confess to and he’s the only one who can wash us clean and intercede for us, there is no other! We can’t pray to ANYONE but God/Jesus. I could go on and on, there are so many things wrong with the Catholic religion. Please pray and study the Bible for yourself ❤

We say that God is cruel for casting judgement on our sins. Yet if someone rapes or murders we cry out for Justice!
It's hard for us to see the reasons behind what God wants from us, but we shouldn't even be questioning it. We need to just have faith that everything he does is for the absolute best.

The only thing they hear is hell, and the only thing they see is the sins of man. They blame the sins of man on God, they blame poverty on God instead of on greed, they blame disease on God instead of our inability to work together. They blame the brokenness of creation on the Creator, instead of the inhabitants which broke it. They lack the contextual understanding of the consequences of free will. Suffering is evidence of his love, because suffering arises from our free will, and our free will is the ultimate testimony of God's love for us. The responsibility to fix things lies on us and not God, that's where these people get it wrong.

If we had not discovered these scientific conclusions on our own, which Ray does some back breaking contorting scripturally to arrive at, I wonder if anyone would have been able to discern them from the Bible? Do you really think they are that clearly laid out in the scriptures? I think he's making some large scientific leaps given just what the good book says. Seems more like he's working backward from man's discoveries to God's vague mentions.

A drop of water is NOT evaporation. Obviously whoever wrote that knew nothing about evaporation and the water cycle or was not God.
@@garrymontgomery2033...Isn't evaporation when temperature rises enough that the water molecules (eg. in puddles, lakes, seas , or even the water in a kettle being brought to the boil ) increase in activity until the water changes state as it's hydrogen & oxygen "separate" transforming liquid water to gas which is basically air containing microscopic airborne drops of water?.. Trying to remember science class from a gazillion years ago (lol ) .... I'll have to revisit my old school science textbooks...

The most fascinating thing about studying the bible is learning about the time in which it was written, it just brings it all together and makes more sense. Doing research on the historical account of the death and resurrection of jesus is also interesting to look into. When I was young the bible was a dusty old boring book but now I realize why it's the number one bestselling book.
Dr. Michael Heiser taught me so much re: the context of scripture and much more!

That young man in the middle reminds me of me: I grew up in an atheist family, mocking every Christian I met and was rebellious as much as possible.
But God found a way! It wasn’t a typical Christian way but much more a way especially for me. I got both legs nearly cut off, all my rips were broken and stabbed my lung and my neck was broken so I got paralyzed from neck down.
But this is is not the way God is. What He did was to heal my lung and my within 3 days.
That still didn’t led me to Christ and it took on more year of working on me until I broke down and surrendered my life to Jesus.
God also has a way for this young man. Some times it leads us through a dark valley…
The exact same happened to me except completely opposite. Baptist turned Atheist because I know Doctors are the ones who heal bones and lungs, not an unproven mysterious force.

Another hilarious attempt at deriving precise science from very broad statements in the bible.
'Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow' does not automatically translate to 'all snowflakes are unique under a microscope'. It could just mean that snow is cold, or any number of mundane things.
This is just more religious bable that cherry picks and ignores the mass of science and facts that are blatantly incorrect in the bible. Not to mention there are more translations of 'the' bible than I could imagine.

I really don’t mean to hate, but it’s pretty disheartening to see how poor the science in this vid is, and the way very tenuous links between scripture and scientific observation are made. I’ll give a particular example:
I think the most egregious misrepresentation of science is in the 5 ‘terms’ that describe the universe. To our current understanding, the universe is made up of a combined ‘spacetime’ with matter filling it. ‘Power’ describes the rate of transfer of energy, and is a derivative property of matter and spacetime, although in the video this definition wasn’t used. ‘Motion’ is also derivative and not in any way fundamental, you might describe it as the ability of matter to evolve over time.
Overall, I feel most of these scientific links spotted in the Bible are just massively reaching. Did God really have in mind the circulation of the Sun around the Milky Way when he referred to the circular path it follows? - because the Israelites certainly wouldn’t have. In fact, according to a young Earth viewpoint, the Sun wouldn’t have even completed a fraction of a single revolution around the Milky Way, as it takes a couple hundred million years. In fact, we shouldn’t even be able to see the other side of the galaxy because it’s 100,000 light years across!
I’m really inspired by the evangelistic work you do, and you’ve helped convict me to share the gospel with my friends, as any true Christian should, but before I butter you up any more, had I not been a Christian and received this book, this would push me further away as it would confirm rather than deny my erroneous suspicions that the Bible is in conflict with science. It wasn't until I started to study biology that I understood what Jacob was trying to do in Genesis 30:37-39 and what God showed him in Genesis 31:10. This was a lesson in genetics.

@@zangified0117 not a problem. If you read the passage, Jacob's uncle was paying him in livestock for caring for his animals. Jacob tried to influence the livestock by putting poles marked with how he wanted them to reproduce in front of him.
It seemed to be working, since that's what he was getting.
But, God showed him that it wasn't the case. It was all due to genetics.

This is where the look onto Jesus appeal comes from, because as you look more on Him the more you not only become like Him but produce an output (character, behavior and effect on others) that is more and more Christlike. On a physical plane, Jacob replicated this concept when he made the sheep look constantly on speckled branches. They ended up bearing spotted sheep just as he had hoped.

Also, that moment where they slowed down the video to show that guy, it just dawned on me, on that day, when people realise and see the truth, and they are standing in judgement before Christ, how fearful, dreadful and without hope their hearts will be. At that moment it will be too late.

THE BIBLE HAS TOO MUCH IN IT THAT RAISES QUESTIONS. One that stands out is why did Yahweh have such a hard time freeing the Hebrews from egypitan control and made them wander 40 years in the desert eating manas. When you answer that we can talk.
I just came across your TH-cam videos a couple months ago and enjoying them immensley. I love your passion and style and get excited everytime I see people reconsider their lives and accept Jesus as their Saviour. I am a convicted Christian but have lacked the courage to go out and spread the Good News. Thanks to your videos and much prayer, that is slowly changing and I have been emboldened to speak to non believers in public and plant a few seeds.
Unfortunately I'm not able to travel to England to be part of your group spreading the Gospel during the coronation but praying that you reach many souls who will turn their country around and again worship the one true God. I do have one question though; why was Canadians excluded from your offers? Considering the fact that Canada is still part of the Common Wealth and the Crown is still on our money (Just wondering)

Below are just a few of the many things that finally lead me to saving faith in the LORD, the fact that it's all true and has far surpassed the requirements of Historicity.
With all of the evidence we now have there's simply no way I can logically doubt His Word and by extension the LORD Himself.
These other books and writings from antiquity are held up as truth and in some cases factual history.
These other books/poems and there evidence/sources:
Second most common manuscript document Homer's Iliad meaning there are more copies of it than any other secular writing/document from antiquity of which only 643 exist dating from 13th century AD. Homer is believed to have wrote it in the 8th century BC.
The Gallic Wars of Cesar in 1st century BC, there are only 10 manuscripts of that in existence dating over 1000 years after they were supposed to have been written.
Herodotus wrote of history and is known as one of the first historians 5th century BC and only 8 manuscripts exist and they are from more than 1400 to 1500 years after he wrote anything.
History of the Peloponnesian War written by Thucydides. There are only 8 manuscripts that are from 1300 years after he supposedly wrote his account.
Side notes on other religions:
Book of Mormon and their various writings prior to the 1820-30's = 0 as in nothing has been found to support any of it except where it is clearly plagiarized from Scripture.
Of the 31 different qurans that can still be found today there are a great many differences in doctrine, some 93,000+. All of those were written far to late as in centuries after their prophet supposedly lived. We find early Jewish and Christian Scripture that has been altered to fit a narrative of power hungry men in their books. Mecca didn't exist in the time their prophet supposedly lived. Yet it is supposedly the eternal city, the first city on earth where Adam and Eve came down. Almost all early mosques face Jerusalem and not Mecca and Mecca does not exist on early maps or in any trade records of that time.
Now let's look at Biblical proofs:
We have a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They report super natural events that took place in fulfilment of specific prophecies and claim that their writings are via divine inspiration, not from men alone.
Jesus Christ healed the sick, blind, deaf, dumb and paralyzed, cast out demons, walked on water, fed thousands with little, and was resurrected all of which have eyewitness accounts.
The feedings alone were witnessed by the thousands He fed on the two separate occasions that we are told of in the Gospels.
John tells us that there were many more signs/miracles than what are recorded in the Gospels/Bible and that the books would have filled the entire earth were they all to have been written down.
There can be no doubt as to the accuracy of our current Bibles as it is proven via all the source fragments, scrolls, papyri, codex' and sources dating all the way back to before Christ around 700 BC for the OT and between 60 to 125 AD for the NT. We have more proof for God's Word than any other written word in history, it is by order of magnitudes more.
The early Church Fathers prior to 325 AD:
Those known as the Anti-Nicene Fathers writings contain over 32,000 quotes from the New Testament from which we could reconstruct the entire/complete NT from those alone.
They also contain over 19,000+ quotes from the Gospels alone prior to 325 AD.
The Bible is not just a book it is a collection of 66 Books all of which are linked together by One Divine Author. In this collection of Books there are over 40 authors but only one Divine Author who links them all together via the Holy Spirit. Those authors wrote down His inspired Word.
The bulk of the New Testament was written over a period of around 50 years. It was in 46 AD to 53 AD when the Scripture writings of the New Testament are thought to have begun. With the last living Apostle John dying in 100 AD.
Over a period of around 1500 years it was preserved and passed on:
In 3 Languages
On 3 Continents
There are 66,360+ source documents that have been found for the entire Bible of which there are 24,360 and counting source documents for the New Testament alone.
5,839 in the original Greek, some 2 million pages
18,524 translations of that Greek into other languages
Some of the oldest sources date from 60-125AD the oldest of which are during it's writing or within decades of the completion of all the books that were canonized as the New Testament.
Augustine of Hippo, (354-430), was one of the church fathers as they're known. He was a good teacher but flawed by the circumstances of his day. He taught during the time of monarchies and rather than offend them he went against those that came before him such as Clement, Ignatius, Irenaeus, Ephraim, Polycarp and many others. He's the first we see in history who downplayed and didn't truly teach the Doctrine of Eminency according to Scripture. Those in the monarchy would not have liked to be told how the real and true King, our Lord and Savior, the Lord of lords and King of kings could return at any moment. As a result for all the sound doctrine and his magnificent work against heresies of his day Augustine has left behind in his writings, his lack of teaching on the doctrine of eminency has left a lasting impression on our faith. There's also another issue as he was a "supersessionist", meaning he taught that the Church, Christ's Bride, has replaced Israel as God's Chosen. If you think that I would advise reading the Epistle to the Romans chapters 9-11. The Church has not replaced Israel but has been grafted into the "rich root" of promise.
Those asking for "Scientific Proof" of the Bible are either ignorant or asking with evil intent.
Scientific Method is basically:
1) Has to be observable.
2) Has to be testable.
3) Has to be repeatable.
Therefore no history can ever be proven via scientific method.
You must use the historical method based on:
Eyewitnesses accounts.
Documents from that time or as close as possible.
Make sure the story is corroborated by as many sources as possible.
Look for anyone/anything that attempted to prove any of it false in that time period or as close to it as possible.
Did anyone successfully prove any of it untrue, if they did why has no record of it been found?
Mathew = Was written more to the Jewish audience and that's one of the reasons for the extensive genealogy of Christ. There are also more references to the Old Testament in his Gospel compared to the others.
Mark = The shortest of the Gospels and is very direct or "Just the Facts" if you like. His Gospel also contains much of the Apostle Peter's testimony and his eyewitness account/experiences of/with our Lord.
Luke = Historian
A man of science, a physician, an educated and logical man who researched and gathered the accounts of eyewitnesses. He recorded the actual eyewitness accounts of our Lord and Savior, those who had heard Him speak and were present/saw the signs/miracles He performed, such as the Apostles. He did this because the life of those eyewitnesses were coming to an end due to age, or Martyrdom, and he was inspired to write them down via the Holy Spirit before they could be lost or perverted by time.
John = Evangelist
John is organized around 7 specific events/signs/miracles all seen by eyewitnesses and corroborated by many. So he also provides proof of accuracy/truth.
All of the Apostles were eyewitnesses of Jesus and/or of the resurrected Christ. Including Paul whom Jesus came to as he was on the road traveling to Damascus to persecute more Christians. This would have been the resurrected Christ.
There were at least 300 eyewitnesses still alive when Corinthians was written who could have disputed it but no one did.
Mathias became the 12th Apostle after Judas hung himself so the argument of there not being 12 Apostles comes from ignorance or evil intent.
Other cultures and non believer's historical documents show or corroborate many things that are in the Bible. Yet none of them prove any of it to be false yet they do strengthen it.
No other book in history has the proof the Bible does, it is not even close. As I've shown because of the over abundance of source materials we can even be critical of what we have and know for certain that we have His Inspired Word.
Word for Word and Optimal Translations prove just how accurate what we have is.
Biblical Historian/Theologian AT. Robertson said we have a vast array of Biblical Manuscripts that allow us to reconstruct the Bible with more than a 99.9% degree of accuracy.
With the number of archaeological excavations, (25,000+ and counting to date), it is only a matter of time until we see more ancient biblical texts and supporting secular evidence found.
The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed with the New Testament being the Old Testament revealed.
The Bible is the very Word of God, it is a collection of eyewitness accounts written by other inspired eyewitnesses.
There's no longer any excuse for anyone to ignore that fact or to dispute it.
The historical evidence simply does not support their arguments/views.

(10:17) The Bible is nothing like the game "Telephone." The Bible is a written history, not an oral history. The "telephone" game is spoken. The Bible is written. We each can read it, ourselves. We can go directly to the source. We don't have to rely on anyone else to tell us what it says. The first three gospels, Matthew, Mark, and Luke, are a triangulation of resources that document Jesus's miracles and teachings. The fourth gospel, John, is a signed affidavit of truth - written accounts by a first-hand eye-witness. All four of the Gospels present corroborating facts about Jesus. This is absolutely NOTHING like the "Telephone" game.
