Professor Friston is a theoretician working at University College London, Chief Scientist at the artificial intelligence company VERSES, and the most highly cited neuroscientist of all time. I am a big fan of this channel, and keen to read up. As a relative newcomer to active inference, should I start with Karl Friston’s book, or with Andy Clark’s? (My background is philosophy rather than science. I also have mild-to-medium schizophrenia, hence my fascination, since it is a highly relevant theory.)
