At about 20:40, we accidentally called the fan in the car a "Stage 1 brushless". It's actually the Stage 2 brushless, sorry about any confusion. Ah, the joy of shooting live.
Keith, did you try to see what the velocity would be on that little garage fan if you turned the white intake around? Have the small side go into the fan...going from wide to narrow into the fan. Also, with that 14" fan, would you still suggest vents in the hood...say for track use, road/autox? Would this apply to the ND as well or all models?
The garage fan was intended of an illustration of airflow affected by inlet restriction, we weren't trying to optimize it! Hood vents are definitely useful for cooling at speed on all Miatas - we've done other videos on those.
My brushless spal fans was working with my old wiring harness now since I got my new wiring harness on now it’s blowing a fuse on top the shop wire fan 1 an 2 together do they need they own post to work rite
Please contact our support department directly for help. You can call 970-464-5600 8-5 M-F Mountain time, or send an email to support@flyinmiata.com. Thank you!

are the brushless fans available for sale by themselves anywhere? I can't find it on your website or anywhere else.
There's one sure that sells them. They're expensive. Just Google spal brushless. I'll be trying to retrofit some OEM brushless fans to save some cash
Part of our agreement with SPAL is that we can only sell these as part of a fully engineered kit and not separately.
JustKyzuuh I’ve only been able to find some info in them, not anything for sale
Flyin' Miata do you know if they have plans to have them available to the general public sometime in the foreseeable future?
Does it work like a propeller and increase your top end?
🤣🤣
Any chance for NC version?
Never say never, but that application is not currently under development.
Hmmmm, “take a few of these fans and build a drone...or something” Hmmmm, FLYING Miata, Hmmmmmm. I wonder..........
I'll buy that for a dollar.
