Lucifer and "God" escaping the hospital is an amazing sequence. Got so happy when "God" said ha was so proud of Lucifer....deep down that's all Lucifer wants- his Dad's approval.
The way I interpreted Johnson. The clip was like a USB memory stick. So he had all the memories up to that point and the healing ability of the item itself.
I love when people say 80 degrees is hot. It's not even worth turning the AC on here. But then we're the opposite when it comes to cold weather. Drops under 32 and it's the Apocalypse. 🤣
I don't even have an AC, and I currently live in Brazil (Alagoas, so near the equator) I used to live in Reno NV, so also can manage some snow just fine.
That guy played btw. Kain in Supernatural (not sure if you have watched it) and he was kinda like the "Detective Douche" in Psych. Oh .. and his name is Timothy Omundson .. not Timothy Olifant.
He is also famous for his role in the series 'Judging Amy'. There he is the boss of another great actress, Tyne Daly (best known for the series Cagney & Lacey).
As an atheist, this episode was a blast. Because when you think about from my perspective it's all what you willing to accept or believe. If Santa Claus raises an eyebrow, than imagine is it all that different for me with everything else. You know what I mean? It's about tolerance and what you're willing to believe or not.
I love the drama, comedy and personal growth, etc in Lucifer. I watch it like Star Wars, Game of Thrones, etc. It's all good fun fantasy. And it's also quite interesting to do a Wiki search on all these mythical characters. Look up Lilith, Mazikeen, etc. All quite a a good few minutes read - from a mythical/fantasy point of view. Enjoy :-)
God Johnson reminds me of The Almighty Johnsons TV series (2011-2013) about gods on earth. Whenever I hear the song What if God Was One of Us, I think of the TV series Joan of Arcadia (2003-2005).
YOU be careful too, with the heat and the moving thing. In other words, stay hydrated and careful. Sou8nd familiar, doesn't it? LOL. Great Post. And Post when you can. Wen are not in a rush. Thanks for the Post. See ya, WHENEVER you can. 👍👍 (can't say thumb up, so why post just 1 thumb) LMAO!
You said you wouldn't mention it again.. but you know you will :-) But you keep calling The Goddess, 'Charlotte'. She isn't. She doesn't care about anyone or anything except maybe her children.. somewhat. And the separation/divorce proceedings have been previously mentioned... But you will mention it again.. so don't panic ;-) PS: Linda and Amenadiel in their comic moments in this ep were A-Grade+ brilliant :-)
One of the best episodes of the series, imho. The idea of "if a human suddenly had divine knowledge, they wouldn't understand why, and might end up thinking they're God" is great; combine that with the emotional impact of hearing love from someone you never expected it from, only to find out it wasn't real? I've had people tell me they love me repeatedly, only to find out it wasn't real, and that hurts like hell... for Lucifer, that's been seething for literally billions of years. I can't imagine how much harder that hurts.
Regarding your discomfort with Dan and 'Charlotte' because of her family and children - well, Charlotte wasn't exactly much of a mother based on what we've seen earlier. Pretty much a true helicopter mother who left all the housework and child care to her husband while she worked and played on the side. They seemed to be little more than window dressing to her 'success'. I'm pretty sure hubby and the kids are quite use to her absence and shenanigans. --jmho!
Of course Mr Johnson wasn't "God". But who was speaking through him when he had the medallion? Was God doing a trial balloon and/or planting some seeds to see what might transpire? Or was it as Lucifer postulates, that the medallion was like a life force giving Johnson the knowledge of the Divine? When I first saw this episode I leaned towards it being God who animated what Johnson said. Time will tell whether either postulate has any merit. As to the Goddess not caring about Charlotte's family, well she didn't much care for any of humanity, and was willing to kill Chloe - so her acting as she does should be no surprise

32? I'm in hell, if it drops below 60!
80 degrees everywhere else that is 60 degrees above room temperature do you live in a foundry. The good old °C vs °F debate @@BigJohnLXV
LOL 80 degrees is NOT even hot. Ha, 101 degrees right now in Southern California where I am.
Timothy Omundson also played a recurring role as detective Lassiter in the comedy series "Psych".
He also played an evil leprechaun in a Disney Channel Original Movie
WOW! Did I hear Galavant? Timothy Omundson was so good in Galavant, God(ironically) I miss that show.

So happy you like this one! It's so cleverly done, and TO is brilliantly cast!

A Lucifer upload on my birthday! I'm going to consider this a birthday gift, thank you 💐
Happy Birthday!
I totally choked on my tea when Amenadiel wanted the doctor's pizza.
yeah, I wasn't sure how I felt about Dan and MUM when I first watched this episode either. LOL I love this season so much.

She never heard of an item "pulley" it seems...
@4:00 That’s not Timothy Oliphant. That’s the same guy who played Cain in Supernatural
I haven't even watched this reaction yet, but I've been waiting for you to get to it since the beginning, and from the title, I cant wait now :)
I love this episode 🎉
Charlotte's family disappearing is a plot point, not a plot hole. that's all I will say to avoid spoilers ^^
How's the new house?
After you move..
I am downsizing next year as well.
Gonna lived on a houseboat on a lake in Tennessee.

I loooove how the “fake” God (God Johnson) is the epitome of the white Jesus pictures we have everywhere in the Catholic Church 😂

How about a yard sale video? I might see something I like . . .
Hahaha. It's a lot. But. I do have a Funko sample mystery minis, Terra, speedy and blood brother in their box.
(joking) Now come on.. you just want to see Anna all hot and sweaty and sneezing (from the dust) don't you. Ha! :-)

@@Adam-je2cp A helicopter parent is one that flies in and flies out again to deal with problems but who actually knows nothing about their own child.

You watch this show so condescendingly
