I didn't actually know the full reason behind the halal process, only that it involved all the blood going out. Now i know and have even more respect. Would love to try this food one day
Halal meat is basically predicated on mercy- to reduce the animals suffering. The knife has to be sharp and cut very quickly. The animal can't even see the knife or the blood of other animals before its death, bc it'll get scared and then its not halal. An animal that is too young, sick is not halal. If someone like today in the factories, abuses an animal that animal is not considered halal. The animal must be treated well during its life. The reason you say Allah's name is bc, it's like taking permission from him to kill this animal, bc it's for the purpose of consumption. This is a good video that explains it better. m.th-cam.com/video/Nc6VpMPsDmk/w-d-xo.html That's why I don't think halal can ever be industrialised. Bc the conditions alone will render it haram.
@@Jess38044 no problem. Halal and kosher- fun fact Muslims r also allowed to eat kosher bc Jews r considered the people of the book. I've got friends from Jordan and "come come, eat eat" immediately made me think of them. Even if it was just coffee, you'd be made a cup before you could respond.
Being Palestinian, we are very welcoming. A lot of my buddies would come over and be surprised and overwhelmed by how hospitable my family is. We make sure your fed, warm, comfortable. My family and most middle eastern families are very welcoming and making sure our guests are comfortable and happy, not what the media portrays. Bless all 🙏🏼
This is beautiful! Mom is filled with so much joy and spirit ❤ this whole video fills my heart. These have been such heartbreaking times, but finding bits of Palestinian music, food, and culture even just through my screen has been so impactful.
This reminds me alot of the Italian side of my family, you gather in a big group with a shared dish, you eat you share stories and you dance and sing, Palestinian culture and people are beautiful and vibrant and kind.
Many years ago my new Palestinian friends taught me their delicious cuisine. Decades on, I still make dozens of traditional dishes. It was so nice to learn this lovely family's story.
thank you first we feast for this one, it really feels nice seeing your culture embraced and appreciated around the world and outside our homeland, this really made me feel loved💗

I watch this series every single week. I love that your exploring the different cultures in new york. Showing how much diversity and life there is. Taking it back to the real soul food of the community. The street vendors and food trucks or even outright restaurants. Food made with love, with passion. These guys shape our local communities and are vital in feeding us so its awesome to give them exposure. These places are where you'll get some of the best tasting food around. You can tell the real genuineness of the people who do this and its great. I honestly wish them nothing but the upmost success. God bless. 🤝💯

It doesn't sound like something that could be done on an industralised scale either, so it'll probably be higher quality meat.
