I am already on skilled visa on a salary of £26200, If i switch my employer than do i need the same salary or i need to get £38700 as per new rules ? Also I can do a career switch on skilled visa ?

If your current Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) was issued before April 4, 2024, you might be able to keep your existing salary of £26,200 when switching employers. However since you not mentioned much about job code etc If your occupation is on the Immigration Salary List, a lower salary threshold might apply (minimum £30,960).
