    That’s worth it. I work on some stuff that uses large flat head bolts and they’re also rusted half the time. This would be a good wrist saver.

      @@markm0000 ya but most of us aren't tradesmen's, most are just randos that like working on a thing or two. I adore the nice tools and I am dieing to get a wera set, but every time i see that price tag i flinch. I can either get this 1 wera set, or 10 of these meh ones from HF. For one tool it doesn't make much sense to cheep out, but when you look at everything you want/need, you start to look at your retirement account differently.

    I have got to wonder how it compares to a regular impact driver like the Vessel Impact Driver No.250001 I can't imagine that handle looking nice for long.

    • @kittytrail
      @kittytrail ปีที่แล้ว +4

      if you only use a plastic dead blow hammer on it, don't throw it around on concrete and clean and grease it regularly it'll take lots of time. my Ko-ken is going on its 13th of use year and the grip is still intact except for a little bit where a not well centered hammer strike took a 3mm bit out of it(repaired with some black Ripcare). take care of your tools and they'll take care of you and your income as they say... 😉
      beside the yellow and black "demolition" thru-tang series of Wera screwdrivers is already known for it very hard wearing and durable handles. 👍

    Amazing tool. Feel like the rounded strike part would cause slipping of the hammer and end up in your hand. Probably would be better to have a flat striking part.

      In as much time as it takes you to pull the trigger you can likely do everything the guy did in this video with a Walmart impact drill
      There is a reason It isn’t important. The M18 1/2” Impact can probably snap the shaft of that screwdriver in half if you put it on the chuck at full throttle.
      Impact Drills literally do this every time they make the Noise. thousands of times per minute. Try to take a lug nut off with either one and you tell me which one you should buy… Lol. My advice ends here

    I’ve found from experience that the heavier the impact screwdriver is the better it works. See Vessel 2400, it’s like 2 lbs and works waaaaay better than these light weight German tools. That is if your fastener is truly stuck. For light weight fasteners, I’m sure this will be fine
