simultaneously sad about moonuary ending but also very glad you finally get to get some rest from working so hard. tysm for all the amazing content this month, it's been the perfect companion for study breaks or for evenings with a cup of tea!
I absolutely loved seeing your face regularly hit my subscription box! You’re so calming, articulate and well-informed and I look forward to your next video ☺️
Podcast recommendation for you: Inspired, from triple j. They're basicslly just chats with various artists about what inspired their biggest hits/fave tracks. Short eps so easy to taste test! Bonus Australian accents 👌
This was such a lovely, calming video, Lucy, and I just really enjoyed it. Some videos just really speak to you (me?) and this one did. Your tone throughout was engaging and it was so nice to have this playing as I created jewellery for my shop. Made me want to pause multiple times and get up and make my own January favourites video!
Excited for your new haircut! Definitely going to try the hydrating face mist. Winter is not my friend. Love your music recommendations, I always have a listen. Moonuary has been fab! X
I loved getting to know you better through Moonuary! I never was a consistent viewer before this but I absolutely am and will continue to be now. Enjoy some hard earned rest after this month :)
I don’t know why, but I have also been recommended the secrets of the underground series by TH-cam and I’ve watched every single video. I don’t even live in London, but now I am fully prepared for my next trip lol.
I've always really enjoyed your Vedj so obviously I loved Moonuary! I'm sad this was the last video of it but it was a long month and you definitely deserve some rest xx
You probably already know about this, but just in case you don´t: I really think you would enjoy the tiny desk concerts here on youtube. the performances on there are insanely good.
I did actually email palmers about their animal testing policy but seem to have deleted the reply. I think they said they don't test ingredients or products, don't sell in china, and their parent company is clear too. It was a good enough reply that I kept buying from them, but I suppose policies change and they might have given the wrong answer. In the end its up to you, unless anyone tells me differently I'd still use them
My mom loves how I built this and is always telling me to listen! If you like music podcasts I really like Punch Up the Jams! It is about improving some popular songs in a funny way!! It is hilarious and a great pod
I think what I liked about vedj was the one where you are reading a poem. For me that was what vedj is about. Not just making the sort of content you normally do. Although I do love more put together content. A balance
I've loved moonuary and this is so interesting. I love your fashion taste and all your recommendations so it is nice to hear your favourites. I hope you enjoy the rest of not doing a video every other day.
Nooooo I love Banging Book Club, I don't want it to end!! Are you guys planning on replacing it with a different themed book club or film club or anything?
My hair is so thick that I got an undercut just to deal with it and it is the best thing i've ever done. I wear it down most of the time, so very few people know :)
I had a really tough month and moonuary helped me sooo much! Thank you so much for this 💙 so happy that you get to take some rest and some time for yourself 💙
i have fairly curly hair and the one thing that helped with the heaviness of it was getting layers and especially short layers in the top it somehow just lifted everything and there was less weight pulling at my roots and i had more volume (and my curl improved - which obviously doesn’t apply to you) but yeah i’d suggest looking at maybe more short layers and maybe try the curly girl method - you might get more ‘natural’ texture by doing it ❤️
Haha my glasses always steam up when I enter a building in winter too! It's kind of awkward sometimes though because I can't read the menu through the steam but can't if I take them off either, so end up standing in the corner unable to see for a while 😬
tbh it sounds like we have a similar hair type! (my hair is more dry than greasy but I still had that too lol) and when I wanted a change I just buzzed my head! I know that’s pretty drastic but tbh it was one of the best decisions I ever made and I think it would suit you just saying!! I was like shocked at how much time I’d been spending doing my hair when I didn’t even want to do my hair in the first place? like i honestly feel so much lighter without all this hair just weighing me down lol
Hey Lucy 🌷 you are not using a sulfate free shampoo, are you? The way you described your hair acting up sounds exactly like what I experience when I use products with silicone and they build up in my hair before I do a deep cleanse 🙈
So I'm not sure if this is entirely your taste in music, but you should check out Phlake (the radio stations here call it something along the lines of 'softporn electronic pop)
I believe that you might be a person with large hips and a small waist? I am too so if you are, where do you buy your jeans? Jeans are probably the hardest thing for me to buy!!
Hey there, I go through the same dilemma! Lucy's talked about this before in other videos and shouted out Topshop I believe, but it's hit and miss. On a personal note I've enjoyed Urban Outfitters' BDG High-Rise jeans and Zara's super elastic high rise jeggings. I know it's all fast fashion and maybe not top quality, but the elasticity makes it so the waist is right and your entire leg is properly encased, and your thighs aren't sacrificed for the sake of your calves. Also, if you don't mind the jegging idea, Uniqlo's high rise jeggings are the most comfortable things i own.
Recommendation for your next How I Built This podcast listen: the one with Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard (from Dec 2017) - he is fucking amazing and inspiring, especially if you're interested in being ethical.
My hair is incredibly thick too, have you tried to find a hair stylist that will razor blade your hair?? I go to a lady who is amazing and she razor blades my hair so it becomes lighter and not as thick!
simultaneously sad about moonuary ending but also very glad you finally get to get some rest from working so hard. tysm for all the amazing content this month, it's been the perfect companion for study breaks or for evenings with a cup of tea!
Thank you!
her voice makes me want to be a beautiful, studious independent woman with clean shoes and a unique order of coffee
If only you met me irl lol I’m a state
Omg, same. It makes me want to drink tea, clean up my space, wear beige and act sophisticated.
ikr! u literally said EXACTLY what I was thinking oml
something about watching you makes everything simple again and it makes me calm when my thoughts are all over the place
Everything I loved in January: A Lucy video every other day!

Genuinely you should be proud of moonuary, I loved every video you did amazingly!

I've always really enjoyed your Vedj so obviously I loved Moonuary! I'm sad this was the last video of it but it was a long month and you definitely deserve some rest xx
Moonuary was fantastic. Great job, thanks a ton! And I love favourite videos, so a grey ending. :)
You probably already know about this, but just in case you don´t: I really think you would enjoy the tiny desk concerts here on youtube. the performances on there are insanely good.
I need to relisten to all of Banging Book Club!
I did actually email palmers about their animal testing policy but seem to have deleted the reply. It was a good enough reply that I kept buying from them, but I suppose policies change and they might have given the wrong answer. I have also recently binged all of londonists tube videos, and have no idea why 😆
My mom loves how I built this and is always telling me to listen! If you like music podcasts I really like Punch Up the Jams! It is about improving some popular songs in a funny way!! It is hilarious and a great pod
So sad Moonanuary is over 😩 Absolutely loved the frequent uploads! 💕💕 xx

I've loved moonuary and this is so interesting. I love your fashion taste and all your recommendations so it is nice to hear your favourites. I hope you enjoy the rest of not doing a video every other day.
What a coincidence! I'm reading Victoria's book and have just bought Anna's one!

I love you Lucy your so like effortlessly cool like your just one of those people who can be cool without having to try to be if that makes sense
Any luck on getting that recipe? It sounded so yummy!
i have fairly curly hair and the one thing that helped with the heaviness of it was getting layers and especially short layers in the top

I’m a big Bailey Nelson fan gal - appreciates! Any sign of that butternut squash recipe? Super keen if anyone has a good one!’
How I built this is unreal 🎉🎉🎉
Haha my glasses always steam up when I enter a building in winter too! It's kind of awkward sometimes though because I can't read the menu through the steam but can't if I take them off either, so end up standing in the corner unable to see for a while 😬

Loving the red hair!! how do you get that shade??
tbh it sounds like we have a similar hair type! (my hair is more dry than greasy but I still had that too lol) and when I wanted a change I just buzzed my head! are you going to be restocking the Fingers Crossed jumper in S ?
Can someone make a gif of the ‘and I’m dying on the inside’ because this is my mood 99% of the time
I don’t want moonuary to end
Hey Lucy 🌷 you are not using a sulfate free shampoo, are you? The way you described your hair acting up sounds exactly like what I experience when I use products with silicone and they build up in my hair before I do a deep cleanse 🙈
Btw totally recommend going sulfate free - it has helped my dry hair tremendously - you just gotta ditch the silicones/waxes/etc, too
I am using surfate free shampoo yes! Should I not be?!
YOU GOT HERE CONGRATS
Awww I'm going to miss Moonuary
10:43 thank you, jeff.
Will there be any new Sunday Social coming up?
Ohh I'd love some recipes

Would love to see more 168 hours videos this year! Easily my favourite vlogs

So I'm not sure if this is entirely your taste in music, but you should check out Phlake (the radio stations here call it something along the lines of 'softporn electronic pop)

What was the cookbook?
A Modern Cook’s Year by Anna Jones! It’s great
@@lucymoon Thankyou
I can't find the Glossier episode of How I Built This :( am I just blind?
