This is probably one of my favorite “Beloved” videos you’ve done. I love make-up and beauty, but I’m at a point where I’ve found a makeup routine/products that work really well for me I’m not super interesting into trying new ones, so the “lifestyle” favorites are the recommendations that are more useful to me. I would be very interested in a video about Klarna. I’ve used them multiple times, and found it a useful tool. However, I’m a financial stable, salaried person. I think klarna is more targeting people who are hourly, paid bi-weekly, and less financially stable. I haven’t looked into their interest rates after the four initial payments but there is no doubt in my mind that they are incredibly high and predatory. There has been a rise in these “small loan” companies that make a lot of money from predatory interest rates, and I think it’s going to become a big problem. In general, I also think it contributes to this idea that you need to buy the next “big thing” in order to be cool/happy/etc, and manipulates people into trying to buy a life they can’t afford.
Tiffanyferg recently did a very informative and interesting video about Klarna and other loan companies, but I would love for Lucy's take on this also!
I used to go spinning every week before lockdown and after everything that's happened during the mayhem I've just realised how much I've missed it! That app sounds amazing, I remember the only thing I couldn't get away with was the music they played in class. Love the beloved series, and as someone else said in the comments, I really enjoy that you put in stuff that you've enjoyed for a long time, rather than it always being new. Your transparency is amazing with what is sent in a PR package, ethics and your videos always make me feel so much more productive!
Love that you embrace glasses and are comfortable not wearing makeup a lot! 2 things that are underrated I believe, especially the glasses one -From someone who only wears makeup clubbing mostly, and who has to wear glasses all the time but used to wear contacts and skip glasses at times due to insecurity.
I loved the Brandy Melville artikel. As a very small short person (5.1) I never had a problem fitting in Brandy Melville clothes, but I always feel guilty that I can. And the ethics have started to bother me the last few years. But still I like the items I have, but don't think I will buy new ones
Having worked in specsavers, I believe that the bridge of your glasses is too wide for the bridge of your nose. As gorgeous as these glasses are, a different style with nose pads that sit firmly at the top of your nose might be more comfortable so you don’t always feel yourself pushing them back up! Love this series ❤️
I just love your beloved series !! And now I think I'll actually start a habit tracker for may, so thank you for the motivation :) I hope you're doing ok xx
Very glad Brandy closed its store in my city! I can fit into their clothes most of the time, but yes the guilt was insane. Needless to say I’m happy they’re gone! Love your vids thanks for this during quarantine xx
I really enjoyed this one!! I love that your beloved series includes long term favourites instead of feeding into that NEW NEW NEW narrative. One thing I would say though is encourage you to consider purchasing from a more ethical workout brand than lulu lemon in the future, however I did read that if you take your worn out leggings to them they will replace them for free. So that could be worth keeping in mind :) thanks for the continuous relaxing and entertaining quarantine content
Thank you! I’ve tried two ethical activewear brands now and both have been a bit disappointing so I think it’s best I invest in something I know won’t go unused! It’s a tough line to walk though
@@lucymoon very true it is tricky!! since they're excellent quality you do get a long time of use out of them so that definitely balances out :) You're always thoughtful on ethical sides of things and that's what counts in the long run!
hey Lucy, this is great timing, I've just traumatised myself by watching the NT production of Frankenstein (read the book), so thank you for providing the calm calm vibes x (hope I don't get nightmares)
I really enjoyed this video - I also think the playlist for videos is a great idea! I've found myself opening my laptop to watch TH-cam so much over the past few weeks and never finding anything I want to watch, so I'll be sure to look at your playlist ✨
Lucy hey! It's been so long since I've seen you posting (my subscription box is weird) but you look gorgeous! Now to binge the rest of the videos I've missed out on over the last few months! X
I'm very curious now about the Klarna issues! I've never used them but I also don't buy a lot of things and I assumed it would be lovely for people who maybe aren't as financially stable to be able to pay for things in installments! I must go find out more (or if anyone wants to let me know about articles etc I'd love to hear!) 😌
Lucy, you made my quarantine birthday a little brighter with this video 😌 a music rec for you - KeiyaA’s new album is some chill and lovely r&b I think you would love
Endgame isn't the most recent Marvel film out, there's also Spiderman: Far From Home. I don't have Disney+ so maybe it's not there yet, but it's a super fun movie and I wanna make sure you're not missing it! I'm sure you're already aware of this because you mentioned the people you're staying with are Marvel fans lol
I think you may need the arms (legs?) of your glasses bending round your ears more by your optician! Mine kept sliding down my nose slightly and needed bending round more 🖤
Hey Lucy! Hope you're keeping well during the quarantine! If you're looking for something/someone to read about you should definitely delve into the world and drama of Caroline Calloway, there is so much interesting, sad, bizarre things about her if you don't know about her already much love x
If you finally want a female protagonist in a comic book adaption after all the marvel men, I highly recommend wonder woman. I think it was also produced by a woman and it's also just an amazing movie.
@@lucymoon Maybe I'm biased because I've seen so many marvel movies with male protagonists and it just felt so empowering to see a woman be the badass for once.
Your videos are so calming and bring me a sense of inner peace. So pleased you're doing another favourites!
You've been such a lovely person to watch during quarantine, its really grounding.

This was such a good video!!! Your happiness in the past 2 videos is literally leaking through the screen ahah and I feel great!✨
Thank youuu! 🤍

I LOVE Jon Caramanica ! Popcast has been great for quarantine as well !!
I never clicked a video so fast before!! So happy to see your videos they just make me feel less lonely and more sane during this crazy time

Such a great beloved episode! Love how calming it is and that it's not focuses on beauty and make-up.

Tiffanyferg has a great video that I think is called 'The dangers of Buy now Pay later' that is so informative on both sides of the debate :)
I love your videos so much Lucy your so calming to watch and listen to 🥰
I love this filming background!
Thank you for this, really calms you down x
Love your videos. Need to try that darjeeling tea, I am currently drinking way too much Earl Grey from them - it's so good! :)
super cute and calming, thanks!

I didn’t love Wonder Woman as a film, but I watched it a while ago so I’d love to rewatch and see if my feelings have changed!

teapigs is made and owned by tesco, its not actually an independent brand!! just a way for tesco to bump up the price
ahhh I'm not only one haha but where are your glasses from??? they're so pretty and cute :)
Glasses are nice on you😎
Tangle Teezer actually has a brush for thick curly hair with extended needles 🤍 It has a wine red colour 🍷
there are so many ads on this vid 😵
Oh no are there actually?! Time to log into the backend 🤦♀️
i love this!
love love love
Damn I thought we cancelled peloton for their terrible ads?
Oh I didn’t know anything about this! Will research x
Lucy please have your glasses “taken in” 😁 they seem a bit loose and slide off your face 🙈
second :0
