So satisfying to watch! Straight to the point! So proud of you for ruthlessly getting rid of what doesn’t serve you anymore ❤️❤️ Must feel great to have a small closet with clothes you wear and love
You are fun to watch! I love declutter videos and have watched a billion and, believe me, I have never said this before: you truly do not have enough clothes! You deserve some new clothes!
@@KatrinaKuboYes, I agree, I couldn’t live with less than 20 items I don’t think, but I wish I had below a 100, but I have 300-400 pieces (🙈), and that is not even counting outerwear.
I admire the fact you don’t keep too much but what about if in 3 years you want one of those items ? Buying and throwing out is terrible for the environment … I have kept most of my clothes for more than 15 years and I’m 29. If I did that I would buy the same item and get rid of it every three years according to my needs my jobs the trends… Since 2 years ago the jeans my mom bought me in high school are trendy again and they cost 3 times as much… I’m happy to have kept them 😊
Thanks for this. I really need to bring my mind and self to decluttering my clothes, space and life ruthlessly as well so it was not only fun but hopefully a start for action for me as well.
thank you!! this is the kind of plan i need for building a new wardrobe. i live in hot weather so im trying to figure out what layering pieces will work best
@@KatrinaKubo layering pieces for hot weather for sun protection and breathable fabrics will help to keep you cool in the heat like linen, cotton, silk, seersucker and crepe. A light demin jacket would also works. A receipe I follow is often 3 layers. You have a beatiful curvey bodytype, so blazer, cardigan and jackets that hit your hips would look good. Love to follow your proces. I'v done it. Started with 15 items. Think shoes like 1 sandal, 1 sneakers, 1 dressing up type of shoe maybe and maybe a chealsea boot for cold days. 4 should be enough. 💃
Well, if you have money you can hire a stylist, that would be fun to watch. Some shops also offer personal shopping sessions, maybe that would help you? As far as I know they’re free, I have only done it once at the Gap.
i've definitely thought about working with a stylist. i am going to see if i can muster up my old styling habits from my college days to revive my style!
@@KatrinaKubo That would be interesting to see. I hope you won’t look to young like a teenager, I think you just mean applying the same habits to your outfits today? I think that’s a great idea.
For me, the main perk is that I can have a tucked in look without dealing with extra fabric. It stays put! But I definitely need to branch out to other styles of tops haha
What clothes are you drawn to? I always buy what I fall in love with (not always, I mean when I can afford it) and somehow they work very well together. But other people often recommend making a Pinterest board to inspire them style wise. I used to have a book on the matter but I can’t remember what it’s called, I think it was The Curated Closet. Let us know what you come up with.
im working on a pinterest board! I'm going to make a video about planning, shopping, and building a micro capsule wardrobe so i have outfits i love and am happy with! thanks for watching!

@@KatrinaKubo I totally went through my two dresser spots on Monday. I will work on my side of the closet next Monday
4 buttoms, 6 tops, 4 layering pieces (cardigans, knit) = 96 combo

I am just so curious. How, when, why does one ever wear bodysuits? 😅 Maybe I'm missing out

Loved this video! I thought the black dress was cute
oh my goodness, thanks so much for watching!! i'm so glad you enjoyed it and so happy you found my channel!
Be careful with thinx underwear cuz they’ve been proven to use carcinogens 😢 I use to wear them too
