Thx so much! Still going to try to get a double digit, but this has ended a long drought of mediocre fish. I was happy enough with that first 3.5 lb'er, so that PB was some amazing gravy on those fries!
On a side note, I didn't realize how much I've started saying "boys" until editing this video. I recently discovered Letterkenney and blame Reilly and Jonesy for this
Great catch!! And wow how many gadgets do you have on your kayak? Snap lip lock, the scale, the measuring board... I was waiting for an arm to come out and wipe the sweat from your brow. Looking forward to seeing the next adventure! What a great looking lake too
I actually tried to hire someone to sit behind me and wipe my brow, but these pesky child labor laws keep getting in the way. Thanks Obama! I'm way too interested in kayak modifications to keep it simple, unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
Nice fish man! I caught one similar size at 23 inches long back in December. We didn’t have a scale but guessed it to be around 8. Seeing yours so close to the same size makes me feel good about my guess.
Thx so much...that's probably a good guess and a hell of a fish yourself! I've seen some length to weight conversion charts online that are helpful. Once they start getting bigger than a few pounds, they all look too massive for me to judge properly. I probably don't have enough experience catching big ones to tell, LOL
Man, that's great! We lost almost every window on the north and west sides of our house. Just part and parcel of living in OK. And I wouldn't say I'm relying on kindness with our insurer. My professional experience has been in insurance for over a decade, so I'm spoiling for a fight! 😂
Sorry about your house, hope all goes well with getting it fixed. I just had windows installed and they do other things. The company I used is reliable if you want their information message me. Nice fish, all of them. Looks like maybe Mountain Lake. Glad you had a great day after the blowout on your house!
First let me say that was a damn fine looking shirt you were wearing. Hope the insurance covers all your hail damage. Now for a question???? Who told you to throw a terminator spinner bait?? :) :) :)
@1320_Rider Hands down the worst boat ramp in Oklahoma, LOL. Awesome lake though. Also probably need to check the regs and hours before you go. They close the lake at different times depending on the season.
Congrats! What we all strive for. The big gals.
This was a heck of a way for me to end Dink Fest Month!
Beauty bass, nicely done. Congrats on a new PB, always feels good.

Woo! That's a beast! Congrats on the fish!
Thx! I was obv pretty geeked out about it!
Congrats my friend...she was a beast!!!
Thx so much! Only problem is now my next PB is going to have to be a really nice fish. 😬 😂
Good one, dude!!! Hahahaha - it was nice seeing you spaz out.
I damn sure did...thx!

Congratulations man! Really nice fish!
Thx so much! It def got my adrenaline pumping.
CONGRATS man! :)
Thx! Really appreciate the support!
I was fortunate that hail path was about two miles north of me. Hopefully the insurance company is kind to you.

Thx! You are correct about the lake and I may end up needing your contractor. I'll def reach out and I appreciate that. Tight lines!

Agree 100% on the t-shirt. Secondly, the only spinnerbaits I own are Terminators. 🤷🏻♂️
Nice.
Thx for watching!
You to check the weight limit on that boat before you start hauling in toads like that again. Son! She was a chunker. Congrats, buddy, that’s awesome.
Thanks! It's been a rough spring season so far, but that made up for a lot.
What lake was this? Congrats on the pb.
Thanks! It was at Mtn Lake, near Ardmore.
@@kayplainsdrifter136 Thanks for the reply. I'll have to check that one out.

@@kayplainsdrifter136 Thanks for the heads. I'll definitely check out the closures.
