- Very poor quality recording (especially the first few seconds). Gringo, instrumental with Waylon Jennings and Tony Joe White, who wrote it. Recorded from American Music Shop. I can't find a better quality, or in fact any other recording of it. I'm posting it for awhile even tho quality is poor, hoping someone will see it and be able to post a better quality recording of it.
Flows like sweet wine down the back of ones throat.FANTASSICO..
Two of the greatest musical studs in the history of the American south!! Waylon and Tony Joe are both missed for their great individuality and unique styles.

What an incredible amount of talent these two men possessed! There will never be another Waylon or Tony Joe! 👏🏾👏🏾

This is unreal! Absolutely beautiful!❤
Love this Tony Joe White tune. What a talented musician. Waylon's style influence in there is great, of course.
Waylon's guitar is unmistakable he plays with slack key tuning Hawaiian style music he shows it in his constant playing with the e string tuner amazing guitarist unmistakable
Thank you, Mr. McCormick, for making yet another work of art available to someone who didn't have it. Waylon always knew what he did best. I guess that meant women, too, after all, he did marry Jessie. RIP Waylon, you are missed.
Thanks for putting this up. I asked Tony Joe a few years ago if there was any other songs that him and Waylon did together and he told me “Gringo”. I have been looking for this for awhile and this is the first that I have seen it.
Thanks again.
RIP Waylon. RIP Tony Joe

The significance of the sucky sound quality pales compared to the artistic and historical value of this recording. Thanks!
Yep, this will pass........Really like this, and I do remember seeing this show, as I have it on a VHS. The quality is about the same, perhaps a little worse.
