Damn….I don’t even play, and I want one! “Waylon Mother F’ing Jennings" is my favorite country artist! I’ve seen and met Shooter many times (really nice guy), but never his Daddy.
Edit…Damn thing costs $25k retail. Not even sure why this is on TH-cam. Most people collecting on that level knew about it way before this.

Great to hear from shooter I haven't listened to him or his music in 5 or 6 years but I enjoy him very much.

Waylon is my patron saint, and Waylon the 2nd is my hero. We are the same age and we both came up playing rock and roll at night, and playing George Jones & Willie tunes on the porch. The real thing shall never fade. Phoney pop country isn’t worth my time

When I see that guitar, I think back to the Dukes of Hazzard 🎬📺theme song in the late 70’s early 80’s when I was geez around 5-6 years old an it shows it in the beginning of every episode! 🔊🎼🎶🎵🎤Just a good ol boys, 🎸🎵🎶🎤never meaning no harm🎵🎶🎵🎼PEACE!

Same here! I was around the same age as you when I watched the Dukes of Hazzard. I’ve loved Waylon ever since. I loved hearing him narrate the show in addition to the theme song.
I guess we both can say we’re _literally_ lifelong fans of ‘Ol Waylon. 🙂

Too cool. I’d love one of those guitars and I’d love to meet Shooter… he’s so clearly down to earth and 💯 REAL.
    Thanks for posting!

He looks so much like his dad. I'm currently looking into shooter Jennings music. His name and anything his son does in respect to music is carrying on the Jennings legend.

I saw one of his guitars on the wall inside the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi with a pair of his boots.

Waylon's guitar along with Willie's are the only 2 guitars i can think of they could strum a cord. And without looking alot of folks would know who it was. Both had a very distinctive sound.

    20k for the thang.
A guitar for lawyers, doctors and collectors.
    Waylon might not have approved.

I can give you information on where to get a replica of Waylon's guitar a whole lot cheaper. For less that 2k you can have a guitar that looks exactly like this one without the "Fender Custom Shop" logo of course.

@@robertparsons5295, let's see if it gets deleted or not. I posted the information before and it got deleted. They WANT you to pay 25k.
You know, just to make sure you get the information, I will post a TH-cam link to another video of a guy that did it.

Go the route I did and contact Terry and his son Austin at Lankford Made out of Franklin Tn. Terry did all the leather work for Waylon except the very first. He did one for me replicating Waylons oddball cover that was on the Dukes. Wonderful people and they do amazing work. I dont know of they did the leather work for fender or not but you cant get closer than one made by them.
