This is the best race team interview I have seen. Paul seemed very comfortable talking with you guys. No bullshit or fluff. And good camera work. Thanks to all involved in this video.
Brilliant. Probably one of your best vids Chris. Paul came across super well and I’m still trying to get my head round Toprak braking so hard he can bend the frame and forks! Different levels
This is the best interview I've seen simply because he doesn't have a cooperate voice box, says where they struggle and what breaks or wears out 👏 amazing to hear 👏
This was such a great episode, Paul seems like an awesome guy to hang out, such expertise delivered so eloquently and sometimes witty @26:00 made me cry laughing, such a profound "No, never" just after the pleasantries, what a lad!
Fantastic interview with PD, well done! Paul seems a really good guy - opening up to the interview really well, great insight into the team and Toprak's bike and riding style - Toprak is the MAN on braking and corner entry - awesome !
This episode is like finding a treasure chest of "performance gems". Surely most racing data will not be applicable on the streets but the worth of knowing the technical details and processes is more satisfying than one can appreciate. For example, the ride height going up on qualifying to compliment the rear grip so the rear will not push the front, that is golden information. I don't have a superbike but then again I can relate to that knowledge when I tinker with my bike and see how much of that racing process can really trickle down to street riding. Not a lot I know but that's what trickle means I guess.
Brilliant interview. So much detail and explanation about how and why everything exists offered up by Paul. Had to chuckle when he said how Toprak absolutely ruins the bike like no other rider they’ve ever had!!
Mr Denning shows why Crescent is a great team, and his honesty is much appreciated. Chris did a good job and combined with the camera work this is a 44T classic. Honda have done a BSB press event with Stock, Superstock, and Superbikes to ride. Yamaha Racing - for the Ride...
Nice! Not every day you get to hear a team principle taking in such detail about their bikes - well done 44T for getting the interview! And it confirms what I'd thought from watching him ride; Toprak is a bit of a monster 😄
Brilliant content guys🤘 Paul seems a real down to earth guy.. it’s amazing how toprak rides absolutely killing a bike like that just goes to show you what sort of animal rider he is on a bike, for us mere mortals can only dream of pushing a bike to them extremes😎.. I agree with Chris if I could only watch one category it would definitely be WSBK 🤘
So the weight difference accounts for the performance difference between the two riders. Toprak 69, bautista 53, with shorter height. 16 kg is huge difference in terms of cornering, acceleration, stresses on chasis, and braking. Toprak is really giving his 100 percent but still it is hard for him to win a race this year. what i have concluded from this informative interview. Props to toprak.
I bloody love all the detail ! Investment casting, a wax or polymer pattern coated by placing into a refractory material, hardened and dipped several times, the wax melted and molten metal poured in, producing high accuracy and integrity, interestingly basic versions of it go back thousands of years
Paul is one of the most open, informative and engaging team principles to journalists questions, without compromising loyalties to his manufacturer.Very level headed thinker it seems and probably this is reflected in his personnel management skills regarding the teams cohesion.
Loved this episode. Casually technical, Paul Denning is fantastic, passionate, and the whole episode was about as good as I've seen a team-interview-bike interview. More, please!
Awesome video! Thoroughly enjoyed all the details of what they have to do so the bike holds up under Toprak’s braking etc. Fascinating stuff and great of the team to have 44 Teeth in for this look at the bike 👍 Thanks so much !
Paul’s level of experience throughout the racing community is unquestionable. his particular knowledge on the bike as the team principal is incredible. the fact that he complimented BaronVG on his riding abilities on track topped the score sheets for me LOL great episode guys keep it going. get well soon Boothy
I really like the insight of that mix of technical / stat driven application of the mechanics and the contrast of; I've got no clue why the rider does X, but they know something we don't, so we design for that. Agree with most of the commenters here, really engaging video on a format I'd generally zone out of - I think on TV they tend to dilute for the base common denominator viewer, which strips all the interesting stuff out.
Guys, words are not enough for this video - and Sir Paul - such a gentleman to tell most of many things he could hav eotherwise chosend not to speak about. GREAT LADS
Investment casting is very dimensionally accurate as well as being capable of creating more complex shapes than you would be able to make with extruded pipes
Great content as always. WSBK is at an incredible level now and you guys give us the scoop on the defending champ. The more I learn about professional racing and racers the more in awe I am.
Paul Denning is pretty amazing- former Suzuki MotoGP team manager, and BSB before that. And he is funny, too! What an opportunity to talk with the team and have a good poke around a top-spec R1.
İts explained very well by paul in a technical way and how its incridible that big machine Toprak throws in to the curve's like a piece of a Toy , and brakes the Top speeds ..its Talented Paul also explains Toprak uses most parts then other Rider and Ruins more parts then other Riders 😅 also the extra rare hand Brake that Toprak wants and Paul says the seat pad is low less for Toprak bec he wants to feel more rare Tyre 😂 He is an animal .
Mick Doohan started using a rear brake left handlebar solution after an accident. This is from Wiki.... He competed successfully throughout the early 1990s and appeared to be on his way to winning his first world championship when he was seriously injured in a practice crash before the 1992 Dutch TT. He suffered permanent and serious damage to his right leg due to medical complications and, at one stage, faced amputation of the leg. At the time, Doohan was 65 points in the lead of the championship but could not compete for eight weeks after the crash. After an arduous recovery, he returned to racing for the final two races but could not prevent Yamaha rider Wayne Rainey from winning his third consecutive title (by four points from Doohan). In 1993 he struggled with the healing of his leg and the ability to race the Honda at elite level, stating later that in that year it was all he could do to just keep his ride at Honda. It was also during this time he switched to a left thumb-operated rear brake, as his right foot is no longer able to perform this function. I have always wanted this on my R1. Great comment. Elif Elif. I love the way that Johnny and Toprak battle like gladiators.
@@ericsbuell wow its amazing great Knolwge how You know 40 years ago , why and how invented ( happened ) About a Rare tumb brake . Im suprised. I really appreciate of this information .😊 Thankyou my friend . I learned one more something from motoGp racing once again Thankyou Writing this .
Fantastic Interview and also thanks to Paul for all these explanations. It was very interesting! Thx a lot and keep the vids comming, allways my highlight of the day to see a new video out!
Paul Denning did well to keep calm when Chris was cutting him short or talking over the top of him. Saying that Chris is a good watch, I also think he'd be good on bike racing commentary.
Great content loved every word. Managed to pop up on the Saturday open day, stunning bikes and a great outfit. well done 2021 champions. Toprak to Motogp please.
Totally fascinating insight, top job lads! Actually puts into perspective how close these things are to prototype machines these days.. I've always loved that wsb bikes are so relatable to road riders and that's still the case, but the shackles on development are so much looser than in the past and it's fascinating to see that up close.. 👌
Really enjoyed this, was a great insight in to a sport that’s normally abit secretive. At the end the look on chris’ face when there is a slight chance of riding it! Great work guys
Hi 44 Teeth, What a fantastic video. You guys have smashed it outta the park 👍. Extremely entertaining, enlightening and enjoyable. To see the finesse that goes into the subtle changes to these bikes in set up was fantastic. Take a bow. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺. P.S…I’ve watched it twice already 😀📺.
Proper interesting episode this. We need more WSBK "stuff" as the series is so damn good at the moment. You get to see bikes overtake and everything! Hopefully you can get that jorno ride on the test bikes sorted.
brilliant 👏 I really enjoyed that. years ago I worked opposite crescent suzuki and I would go over and spend my lunch breaks in the show room. frankie chili gsxr, all 4 stroke moto gp suzukis, Kevin schwantz and KR Jr championship winning bikes (and many more) I would look over the welding on the exhausts and the fine details...just incredible, it's the finest of "fine art" like a weapon
i know being factory Suzuki gsxr125 riders your race season is pretty hectic but it would make for a great series to see you guys take part in some form of supersport, superstock and or higher cc endurance race season, amazing episode by the way
Massive thank you for the nice comments - we hope PD doesn't read this and get a big head. Love to all the @44Teeth community 😘
Paul - "do you really think that was the reason?"
Chris - "I'm just shit as well yeah"
Paul - "there's that as well obviously"
This was such a good episode, very technical and interesting
That bike is like a jewel!
53 KG=113lbs for a male superbike racer
If you’ve ever raced go-carts you know how frustrating those little kids are to race because they’re so light.
You can see the wheels turning in Chris' noggin'... trying to figure out how to buy a factory works prepped R1
This is the best race team interview I have seen. Paul seemed very comfortable talking with you guys.
No bullshit or fluff. And good camera work. Thanks to all involved in this video.
No one to impress just facts.
Paul and Chris are very funny together. Hopefully see more again some day.
This man Paul is very entertaining and of course knowledgeable to listen, great episode!👍
And released on the day toprak was trying out the M1. How fitting! Top job lads!
Brilliant. Probably one of your best vids Chris. Paul came across super well and I’m still trying to get my head round Toprak braking so hard he can bend the frame and forks! Different levels
Love the way how Yamaha is willing to give such proper tour about their bike
That was awesome. Paul’s great, you boys are wicked. Thoroughly enjoyed this one 😁👍🏻
This is the best interview I've seen simply because he doesn't have a cooperate voice box, says where they struggle and what breaks or wears out 👏 amazing to hear 👏
This was such a great episode, Paul seems like an awesome guy to hang out, such expertise delivered so eloquently and sometimes witty
@26:00 made me cry laughing, such a profound "No, never" just after the pleasantries, what a lad!
Great to see 44teeth doing these interviews getting the well deserved access to these things and people. Well deserved and great content viewing 👏
Fascinating. Amazed that Toprak can sense the frame moving under braking! WSB riders surely are on another level!
Great insight from the Brixx team, how Toprak throws that around a track like a toy is incredible 👏
He seems so intelligent, and on the ball. That was probably one of the most interesting wsbk interviews I've seen.
Fantastic interview with PD, well done! Paul seems a really good guy - opening up to the interview really well, great insight into the team and Toprak's bike and riding style - Toprak is the MAN on braking and corner entry - awesome !

perfect combo of tech, humbleness, passion and banter
Wow, that was a great interview, and fascinating insight into WSB and Toprak. Big respect to Toprak, he gives it 200% on the track!
Absolutely loved this 👏
Joe your just spying to take info back to BMW surely 😂😂😂
Brilliant interview. So much detail and explanation about how and why everything exists offered up by Paul. Had to chuckle when he said how Toprak absolutely ruins the bike like no other rider they’ve ever had!!

This is a fan-fucking-tastic interview, and Paul is an absolute ledge. He has a wicked sense of humour as well. Top work guys!
This was a really interesting episode, would be great to see more like this.
What a nice guy to interview.
Great interview Chris and Paul I thoroughly enjoyed that.
Nice! Not every day you get to hear a team principle taking in such detail about their bikes - well done 44T for getting the interview! And it confirms what I'd thought from watching him ride; Toprak is a bit of a monster 😄

My 💌 Respect for these riders grows as I watch videos about how much a "super sensor" they are when it comes to R&D... Brilliant!
This was massively informative. And for being a big boss that guy was surprisingly likable. Great job all around.

Nothing beats listening to professionals like Paul. The respect he has for the riders effort and knowledge, superb. Loved the interview.
that was a fantastic interview, very, very interesting 👏
Paul Denning always been a delight to speak to, a lovely guy and a very clever one too.
Awesome video!
Thoroughly enjoyed all the details of what they have to do so the bike holds up under Toprak’s braking etc.
Fascinating stuff and great of the team to have 44 Teeth in for this look at the bike 👍
Thanks so much !
Feel free to upload as much nerdy, technical content as you please. Thanks boys!
Paul’s level of experience throughout the racing community is unquestionable.
his particular knowledge on the bike as the team principal is incredible.
the fact that he complimented BaronVG on his riding abilities on track topped the score sheets for me LOL
great episode guys keep it going.

This channel honestly has the best indepth motorcycle content.Makes me want to watch a 1 hour version of this.
I love the cocking about more than anyone, but I also love this proper nerdy type content, you're smashing it boys! Big up Boothy! x
Fascinating stuff, listening to Paul. And, by the way, what a career he's put together for himself over the years too. Bravo.
AMAZING! The bit about the frame was bonkers. Did NOT expect that!

Utterly fascinating and loved the natural banter between Chris and Paul.
Investment casting is very dimensionally accurate as well as being capable of creating more complex shapes than you would be able to make with extruded pipes
One of the best interviews I have seen, just excelent.
Chris, its great to see you having fun again.
Saved this to watch on my night shift lunch break and obviously it didn't disappoint.
What a bloke, good to see a team principal that doesn't come across like a slimy politician.
Brilliant little film, what a bike and a hell of a rider Mr Toprak ✊
Great content as always. WSBK is at an incredible level now and you guys give us the scoop on the defending champ. The more I learn about professional racing and racers the more in awe I am.

What a top bloke Paul Denning is. Honest and a credit and no secrets.
Also how’s Boothy. 👍👍👍
What a great video!
Paul is such a knowledgable person.
A very nice way to have a closer look at a WSBK beast
The French chef returns
Very lovely interview! Toprak really rode the bike for what it's worth. Unfortunately the bike and rider weight balance didn't come in fast enough.
Fascinating, 44T is the R1-Toprak of bike journalism.
Paul Denning did well to keep calm when Chris was cutting him short or talking over the top of him. Saying that Chris is a good watch, I also think he'd be good on bike racing commentary.
You guys do interviews so well. It's always relaxed and the resulting conversations are fun, insighfull and interesting. Job well done!
Best channel on TH-cam!
What a cool dude he is!!!! Really enjoyed that interview. Thanks for that
More info in 20min than an entire season of watching races. More videos like this please.
Brilliant insight into the Yam, Paul Denning is such a down to earth sort of chap too, tells it how it is👌🏽
Great content loved every word. Managed to pop up on the Saturday open day, stunning bikes and a great outfit. well done 2021 champions. Toprak to Motogp please.

This was top draw lads! Great stuff. Would have love to learn more about the suspension but still amazing work 👌🏼
I’m a simple man , I see a 44t upload , I like it
Really enjoyed this, was a great insight in to a sport that’s normally abit secretive. At the end the look on chris’ face when there is a slight chance of riding it! Great work guys
Crescent Yamaha is such an amazing store very jealous of you guys at 44 to get up close to topraks number 1 bike
44T knocking it out of the park again!

Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺.
P.S…I’ve watched it twice already 😀📺.
Without doubt the best 44T episode yet. Well done boys!
That was a really interesting chat there. Great video thanks.
Amazing ! Amazing interview, honest and natural, its so refreshing to see this level of details talked about in top tier racing !
Loved this episode. How cool that Paul spent time going through the bike for us! 👏🏼 That R1 is exquisite.. 😍
So good to see this insight into the top level bikes. Would be good to see more of these.
Proper interesting episode this. We need more WSBK "stuff" as the series is so damn good at the moment. You get to see bikes overtake and everything!

Top 10 video not just for 44 but all bike channels.
Great episode. Really great of the team to be so open about the technology on the bike
So freaking awesome!! This episode, and the BSB Ducati team boss episode, are some of the best views on all of TH-cam!!
The best answer to cush anyone´s dream: "No. Never." Minute 26:02 hahahahahaha
Keep up the good work, lads.
Toprak will be the next big thing in motogp
Best video Perkins has ever done. Nice work gents.
Great technical interview.
You can tell he's the "principal", he doesn't take shit lol at the fuel cap and crash talk.
I’d love to see more of these tech videos.
Top quality content from the 44T stable as always, keep up the good work chaps!
