Welcome to my makeup collection organization/storage and declutter 2021! This is the last video in my "Becoming a Minimalist" makeup declutter series. In this video, I'm making my final stride toward having a minimalist makeup routine (a la Konmari Method/Marie Kondo) by decluttering everything from eyeshadows, palettes, lipstick, blush, and more! That Sephora red liquid lip is amazing! I keep meaning to repurchase mine. It’s the “perfect red” and I get SO many compliments on it and I never get compliments on lipstick. It has a blueish tone so it enhances the whiteness of your teeth! And it lasts SO well. I’m a singer and it’s the only red lip I can wear that doesn’t get all over my microphone and transfer. 😍
Okay YES. You have convinced me to keep it! lol. If there's any color that's worth keeping two of, it's def red liquid lip cuz it's such a classic. Thanks so much for watching

@@ioannaioannidou4201 I’m not sure if they have the exact one anymore...I forgot to save my tube so I can’t remember the name but it looks like “Red Velvet” is very close!
But “Always Red” is sounding super familiar. Hopefully Neelou responds with the exact shade name!
This is really inspiring me to go through and declutter my makeup collection again... I’d love to have fewer items and just keep my absolute favorites on hand.

I would keep the two faced red liquid lipstick and keep 2/3 of the colorpop eyeshadows, but keep the 2/3 you would use the most even if the 2/3 you use the most are not your favourites. Cos I know that sometimes I love things but I never actually use them.
I like that you keep until they are done.

Love declutter videos. In my declutter of my makeup; I went ahead and depotted my eye shadow pallets and pulled the eye colors I enjoyed most and discarded he rest.

Nice to see a new vid from you. I love your declutters! It's amazing to see how far you've already got in your minimalist journey. The best thing about it is that you learn so much about yourself, what you really love and need. This helps making better decisions in the future. For me it's that I don't impulse by especially makeup and clothes because I know it's a pain in the ass to try getting rid of them later. I think at this point you should get rid of the eyeshadows and other products you don't use and don't feel guilty about it! You tried your best to finish them or pass them away and just keep them because nobody wants them is not the solution. Even if you would use them up you have to throw the packaging away, so the waste is already there no matter what. So feel free to let them go! Empty them out and try to recycle the packaging, maybe there is a terracycle box in your area, just look it up online. I'm from Germany so I can't help you much here, but heard from a few clean Beauty channels that many retailers like nordstrom or cosmetic company's work with terracycle and have boxes where you can give your makeup into in the store or send them in. But remember to empty the remaining product out the packaging if it is possible (eyeshadows, powders, creams, bullet lipsticks etc.). Of course it's just my opinion, but I hope this was helpful. I have been decluttering my stuff as well. I found that I always like pretty much one eye look so I don’t need a lot of the eye products that I have..plus a lot of it is really, really old at this point.
Same here! I always think I'll use it "one day" but even on that "one day," I'll reach for the same stuff I always do LOL. What'd you declutter most recently?
@@NeelouGoodarzi Lipsticks! I got rid of almost all of them. I am hanging onto my Bite ones, but that's only because I can't replace them if I declutter one and then regret it! I have been working on eyeshadows as well.
I feel you! It makes me sad to declutter lip products, but I think it’s good in the long run. I love Bite lippies too :( might just turn around and keep Glacé 🤭😂

Since you have a healthy amount of lip product review videos, I would like to hear more about your evaluation criteria for deciding which products to keep in the face of daily mask use.
I used to LOVE wearing lip products but have been forgoing them due to not wanting to run the risk of looking like a shoddy Joker. Have you found any that are genuinely transfer proof?
I'm so glad to see you again! I recently binge watched a ton of your videos. Also ngl, the part where you declutter the lipsticks hurt a little and I think you have a reasonable amount of lip liners, no need to declutter them 😊

I typically keep a nude, my lips but better, true red & dark red lip liner because that's the type of lipsticks I wear!
That's a great assortment of lip liners! Honestly more up my alley. I don't think I ever use the pink one or the dark purple. Do you have any red/dark red liner recos? I love the Jordana nude, but their red is so bright and orangey, so I don't really like it.
For anything which you are questioning getting rid of, see what works the best for you along with being realistic. If you won't use it frequently, just let it go.
THIS. I agree. I think frequency of use is sooo important. Does this mean I shouldn't keep all those extra eyeshadows?! 😂
You could post them on a buy nothing group or free on fb marketplace maybe?

i think the two reds are really different but i'm also very picky about which undertones to pair with which colours.

i heard that Jordana got discontinued, kinda sad about it because i wanted to try a few of their products but yk, it's make up, i won't miss it that much
I was sad too, but oh well. I've only tried their lipliner. And agreed, it's just makeup--I'm sure I can find another brand to replace it with :)

Why don't you put the lipsticks on the last draw and get rid of lip holder and keep it as a backup if you get anymore lipsticks 😊

something i realized when u were holding the glasse lip product is that u never got rid of the too faced matte melted red lipstick.
