Would be a great move for them to make a UFL game, and give it custom leagues and stuff to "substitute" the nfl but still compete with madden. And they could have that on a delayed release each year. Like they don't let you create teams, rosters, leagues, etc. From release date (around Christmas) till maybe a month after their season ends. That way they could build up some connection and recognition to their team but still compete with madden for the market.
It has an uncanny resemblance to it with some minor FOX undertones, but I don't hate it, love it actually. But it would've been cool to have a few different scorebug styles tho, depending on what conference/game/team you're playing. Prolly not doable b/c they don't want ESPN or CBS coming at them saying they stole their style or something.

Man, I’m so ready to finally play a football game that isn’t Retro Bowl or Wildcard football. An actual football game is here. A while back I even bought Madden 11 (Saints fan) just to play a good Madden game again. Not only will I eat when playing the game, but I’ll be able to watch Flemo play this game again, along with other creators that haven’t played it or ogs from the past.

It's a great challenge to add to rebuilding teams when you can only pick the plays and can't control the players at all. Really rewarding, I recommend trying it out.
