Game 1 end is perfect. The other line is knocking out the Greninja and Zapdos it pretty much does the same thing. Your line was easier because you could also use Dusclops as well
I think I could have just done Ultra Ball Double Research --> Noctowl --> Briar + Candy and then poffin to fill my bench. The way I did it I needed to hit something off of Fez
Nice vid, i have been trying the deck and it so fun to play. im playing the list of the 2nd place from jonville. I think the boss is a must to keep presuring charizar or draga before they evolve their charmander and drepys. But I find the vitality band uselesss, only for moon or mirror to reach 230
After playing more I've added Boss in for a CC. Vitality band feels bad, but it swings mirror fairly heavily. It seems like Terapagos is going to pick up in popularity after this weekend.
is there a way to make the mirror suck less? feels like the one that goes first can just blow up whatever, and neither terapagos or bear can take on ohko until you're at 1 prize.
Not really to be honest, it does just feel like a go first matchup unfortunately. I think the game in the video shows though to not put a 2 prize Pokemon with less than 220 in to play
Dusknoir + Briar is such an insane combo that will only get better as more Tera EXs release. Would not be surprised if briar (or both) get banned in the future
Hey Ciaran, thanks for this video. I reached top 2 at locals today, unfortunately a Zard match is complicated. Can you make a video talking about Palkia Dusknoir?
That's awesome, congrats on your finish. The Zard matchup is definitely tough. I need to play some more games with Palkia, but if I can find time maybe I'll make a video!
@@JeeYaoKuneDo thank you! I personally have more fun playing Terapagos, but I think Lugia is a bit stronger in the current meta. Terapagos is still really good though
I think Thorton is a super cool card, and lets you pull off Dusknoir out of nowhere! I know Tord played it in his Turtle deck so it is definitely something to think about!

I’ve been playing a very similar list and it’s super fun. I really like cutting dusclops and the 3rd stretcher. I haven’t gone for Bloodmoon as much in my games so I’ll need to do that more 👀 I wonder what good counterplay to this deck looks like 🤔
Counterplay for this deck is mainly just getting ahead of it before it can take prizes and limiting small HP Pokemon in play. Definitely go for the Bloodmoon more, it is such a satisfying combo to pull off!
sweet, this deck is broken, dusknoir annoyed me so much when playing against it to a point where i built a deck for myself hehe. I really like colress tenacity tho, saved my t2 quite often.
If you can't beat em, join em 🤷🏼♂️. I've added colress to my most recent list. I cut a Mew, Dusknoir, and Duskull for Colress, Hoot Hoot, and vitality band
I would for sure, but then the deck changes style a bit. Tord and Phillip Schulz are doing well at Dortmund with Bouffalant in their list. Once lists are up check theirs out!
1) I normally play from behind or can use Dusknoir to force myself down in prize cards, but after playing more I'd switch one of the Counter Catchers to a boss. 2) No, I don't think Heavy Ball is necessary. I play heavy counts of my basics, and if I need Bear I will probably get it out of the prizes before the game is done. 1-1 Pidgeot is fine to me, you don't need it every game
I am a little confused, looking at the list, there appears to be a dusclops missing, was there something forl the original decklist you subsituted out for dusclops?
Im currently playing terapagos ex (with Dusknoir and Pidgeot ex) and im REALLY struggling against dragapult. So, what is the plan on this matchup on terapagos's side? Is it possible to beat it front to front? Or my play here is to beat it before It stacks? But i find It hard to do It so since terapagos can't attack on the Second turn and on the third turn my oponente already has a dragapult stacked on the field. Some advice?
Ideally you go first and are able to dusknoir plus prime to wipe them of dreepy. I think if you chase down their duskulls you should have an opportunity for a big Briar turn since they have to bench rotom, fez, and lumineon
@@CiaranTCG Evolving decks where you can wellspring, crystal, DTE and donk? It does 80 to the active and 120 to the bench. Pop a noir for another ko in the same turn.

@@CiaranTCG it can be a little difficult to set up and it’s only getting rid of one energy at a time. If that is when you’re talking about. This looks good. I personally haven't liked pidgeot but maybe just a 1 1 line is fine. I just want to candy dusknoir more and using a candy on pidgeot feels so bad sometimes
I find once I have Pidgeot set up I pretty much never lose. I think 2-1/0-2 is too much space. I could see cutting the Pidgeot line to beef up Noctowl to 4-4.

came back to say thanks. This decklist of terapagos ex was by far the most fun i had in a while.
Glad you're enjoying it. The deck is honestly so fun, not like any other deck in the format for sure!
I didn’t believe you when I watched the tier list video but after thinking on it and theory-crafting, this deck is nuts…
