    Thanks for uploading this. As a newer player that recently picked up the deck I’ve learned several lines that I’ve never thought of before.
    The laid out board scenarios really help to follow along and makes it more entertaining to watch.
    Another home run of a guide!

    dude collab of the century right here! This encyclopedia of a guide and guides similar providing specific board states and scenarios are so helpful for banking them in my mind and knowing what to do when they come up. More guides in the future as well as puzzles would be amazing, as high level competitive content is invaluable on a free-to-use platform like youtube! Gardevoir is the only deck i play these days for serious tournament play so you already know it’s my favorite ❤️

  • @WitherGaming465

    While your other decklist videos have been fantastic, this is on a whole other level. The amount of depth that you and Josh dove to is beyond what I've ever seen on TH-cam. I love it, and I can't wait for more content!
    I think that Gallade should be considered more heavily in Gardevoir. It can cherry-pick Boss at the end of the game, and it finds key pieces when you need them. It can't be one-shot by Amp, it's a strong attacker into many matchups, and it helps a ton agaisnt Devo in the mirror.
    TM:Devo is now the strongest win condition in Gardevoir. It makes your Chien-Pao matchup almost unloseable (the only way to lose is to brick or get hit with turn 2 Cologne Prime Catcher onto the only 2 Kirlia). It also swings your Charizard, Dragapult, and Mirror matchups heavily in your favor. With Devo, you can often force your opponent to bench lock themself and then remove all of their threats at once. Naturally, you need double Munkidori in order to reliably set this up.

    • @CiaranTCG
      @CiaranTCG  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Glad this video is exceeding expectations! Gallade is interesting, because you usually need to use up a Kirlia on a Garde so to sacrifice another one for Gallade kind of limits your draw, even if Gallade is consistency. I do think gallade is underrated as a 1 prize attacker, and it has utility. I'll have to play more with it.
      TM:Devo is for sure the best innovation with the deck. I want to play around more with henry chao's build since I think it takes advantage of the card the best!

    • @WitherGaming465
      @WitherGaming465 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I like Henry Chao's build a lot, but I don't think it goes far enough. I think that ultimately, Devo is such a strong strategy that you don't really need any backup plan other than CC Iono Scream Tail.
      I cut Greninja (lack of bench space in a double munki deck) and Cresselia (because I like Gallade better) and added in Klefki and Gallade to boost the LZ, Miraidon, and Bolt matchups. I also cut Heavy Ball for 3rd Munkidori, which makes finding a turn 1 or 2 Munki + attach way easier so that you can have a turn 3 double munki most games. To make Munki easier to set up, I also run 3 Dark 2 Vessel, because I find that a turn 1 or 2 Munkidori can allow you to easily set up double Munki turn 3 and proceed to wipe your opponent's board. I also cut the cape for a second Devo, since you really never need the cape at all, and you can't afford to prize Devo in many matchups. You won't usually be taking prizes before the Devo turn, so having just one copy can really hurt your gameplan. Double devo also has the upside of sometimes just winning the game agaisnt Chien-Pao or Charizard if they're not expecting it. Gardy ex is just as good of a 2-prize attacker as a caped Scream Tail most of the time, and the double Devo means you don't ever have to go through a stage 2 ex.
      Enhanced Hammer is actually very important in my Spread Gardy list, as it allows you to get rid of Mist energy on the devo turn.
      You also always want to call first with this deck, no matter the matchup, because the Klefki lock turn 1 and the extra attachment can be crucial. Because you're calling first, you also need Hyper Aroma to set up consistently. Basically, the logic is that you win practically every game you set up, no matter what your opponent draws, so rather than trying to brick your opponent with Stamp, you might as well just set up more because you have to call first in many matchups.
      Here's my list, if you're interested. You could definitely cut 1 Turo for Pal Pad, since you're running Gallade. A 3rd Ultra Ball and 3rd Counter Catcher would also be really great, but I'm not sure what to cut.
      Pokemon (19)
      2 Gardevoir ex
      1 Gallade
      4 Kirlia

    Outside of the stuff to enter for the coaching session, I really really like the content you produce. Even though this one is a 2 hour long behemoth and is insanely valuable to people getting into or struggling a little bit with gardevoir, its just as impactful quality wise as the other videos you've made that I have seen. You're one of the goats of content for sure.

      I appreciate it Eddie! Sometimes I'm worried I make these guides too long, but it seems like people enjoy it. I do like the idea of playing a live game or 2 with the person I do the guide with as a complement to the guide. I will try and do that in the future. • @CiaranTCG
