- The wait is finally over and the 2021 models are starting to roll out. First up is the 2021 Kawasaki KX450. With a completely new design from the ground up in 2019, and following only cosmetic changes in 2020, the 2021 model had some room for improvements. We met up with Kawasaki at Cahuilla Creek MX to have our first ride on the 2021 green machine. Click play to see what changes the 2021 Kawasaki KX450 has this year and watch Ping put in some laps. #dirtbikes #biketest #KX450

Hate that kawi makes their pipes stick out like 10 yards with a tiny number plate
Out of the 3 I just watched, this seems like the most honest review. Well done sir ping
*KAWASAKI KX 450...DREAM BIKE....BRAVO TEAM GREEN*
Pretty sweet. Happiness is a clutch pull away!!!
You mean release, right? ;)
That bike is lit. Great lookin' stock graphics. Fox gear is on point too.
this will get bike of the year
Awesome!!🤘🤘
Why is the Kawi exhaust so massive? Looks like it's just dangling off the back of the bike
When is the 2021 kx250f bike test coming?
Regarding the clutch, the plates are of an updated material and the diameter has been increased... just FYI for your next review. Thanks.
Will the outer clutch cover from a 2020 kx450 for a 2021 kx450?
I seen the American flag.....and put a big thumbs up
Wheres the pipe? I can’t see it behind the plastics
The e starter is an interesting thing... I’m riding the 2020 250 and I like the retro kick but I think e starters are the next level!!!
What do you think about e starters and and the reliability of this stuff?
AeroR if you ever owned an electric start Mx bike, speaking from personal experience and ownership, I never had any issues with the electric start ever nor have my buddies, rn I have a kickstart 2017 yz250f, and when your in the middle of a moto training session and you slip your bike or stall it, it’s EXTREMELY energy consuming to kick start it back up vs pressing a button in the middle of the ride to the point where I start to ride worse due to fear of stalling it
@@marcusbevz6500 Why do MX'ers seem to be so hesitant with e-start? I'm a street guy looking at jumping into the MX world so I'm used to seeing e-start everywhere. Pardon my ignorance but if these manufacturers make reliable electric starts on commuter bikes, wouldn't they know how to make a reliable one on a dirt bike?
Why the Fox gear Ping! Used to seeing you in the TLD stuff.
I'll be in Fox for all new bike intros
Great bike Kawasakis my favorite butt Two Strokes are just so much better
What abt the 250
Loved the 2019 KX450 - looks it improoooved as usual in it's 3rd year & David ; FOX really ? hehehe
No TLD gear for Ping?
That question needs to be answered especially with TLD's Whiskey Throttle show, hopefully that is still a go!
I was wondering the same thing
Me too
Vital has a contract with fox for the bike reviews so he has to wear it while reviewing for Vital
🤤
Look better as a 2stroke and the sound would be killer.
ping you obviously gel with this bike! just saying i watch alot of your videos for years now and you can just tell that you sink with this bike
Love the green number plates!
NOT
I dont understanding why japanese companys dont return at 2stroke production how european companys do make 2stroke from someyears
🙄
Gotta take motocross bike reviews with a grain of salt, most of these bikes get heavily upgraded before they see a track...
No, they don't.
Ping jumping ship on everyone...
If they're a better deal ($), good for him 👌
Not jumping ship. Business is business.
Too bad I don’t have 8 grand for a new bike
Get a job
A 17 year old isn’t going to make enough money for a brand new bike maybe after years of work yes but I’m happy with my used 2016 yz450f lol
@@JasonStaleyFitness A 17-year-old has no rent, no mortgage, no bills of any kind whatsoever. So if he can't generate $10,000 once and $2000 every year after he doesn't WANT IT.
@@DanHovarter You forget a 17 year old has no skills worth $10,000 a year.
@@SD-ir1vf Then I would say that 17-year-old hasn't tried. If it first you don't succeed, try try again. You could go on TH-cam, learn how to tie a Blakes hitch, throw a rope in a tree and become a tree climber. Add a chainsaw to that and your $40 an hour everywhere in America.
If you're waiting for someone to teach you will never succeed.
That is one example. I could name you 20 right now that would yield you $20 an hour. But you only wanna point out how you can't do something. The word can't, is a bad word in my house
Man all these 450s really have a cannon as a muffler now huh, only people that really cared to hide it was yamaha lol
first
I just bought a 2021 kx 450 today , let me tell you , itll make your balls drop .
Honestly the only reason I'm not buying this bike is that damn huge exhaust pipe sticking out. So ugly i just cant overlook it
You can remove it, & add either a pro circuit or FMF silencer..
