I need to feel more weight of things happening in AC Evo. Maybe in other games like Forza M6, EA WRC and GT7 physics are more like in arcade, but you feel better the car and every input feels heavy and real. I mean speed of rpm going up and down realistically, suspension working having bounces after hard shock, first person camera movemens, spinning individual wheels on unlocked diffs on a turn and full throttle and different engine vibrations, resonances and sounds on high rpm.

Maybe u could try swaping these setups between games And testing them out, in the name of science
r/simracing isn't going to like this one. Your assessment of the rears getting too light in ACE and being a bit too slidey is spot on with what i noticed. It is a significant improvement from AC1 but needs work. I also agree with the micro adjustments in GT7 being better. ACE still carries over a bit of stuff from the lethargic steering of AC1, but still feels much better than AC1.
Bought the game on day 1 launch, right off the bat I went to the S2000 and drove it. It was fun, until you realize that everything important about the car was off. The handling could be better, feels unpredictable when it shouldn't be. Also the bad engine sound; you can tell it's a vtec engine, but at the same time it doesn't sound like an S2000, definitely needs fine tuning or straight redo. But the look of the car was done very well, better than Forza anyway. I have high hopes for Assetto Corsa considering it's still in EA.
Having owned an AP1, it is VERY loose off-throttle if you’re anywhere near the limit. Never Lift! They will never make another car like that for the street. You HAVE to use maintenance throttle to keep the car neutral or it will spin.
Can't say much about GT7, but I've played AC and GT sport a lot. And I do enjoy both. Apart from drifting GT has a very rich feel and is very comparable to how real cars behave as long as you stay on track and drive the cars like you would in real life and you're not trying to bounce of barriers and crash and/or try to roll them, that's where things start to get really weird with GT. AC with it's base content cars are a bit more slippery and loose in general but that was pretty natural for sims at the time of it's release, like LFS and Rfactor. You just have to drive them with more caution. What I really appreciate with Evo is how real and alive the cars feel. Sure it's in beta and a lot of things need polishing, like how apexes are giving FFB sometimes and other times depending on if the car is leaning on or off the apex surface there's litterally no feedback whatsoever to the wheel, but you hear the sound of it. but the foundation is there you can tell immidiately when you swap to another car that it's really something else. Like going from the Gr86 to the ZL1 Camaro, they behave nothing like eachother while at the same time behaving pretty much as you expect them to in reality, that's the biggest advantage ACE has going for it - over any other title right now. I can't be stoked enough for what the future will bring for ACE, Kunos do have very big shoes to fill.
Also, where'd you wind up with your FFB settings? I've found myself reducing the minimum damper setting quite a lot, as I did with TrueForce and the dynamic damper effect. Can't remember what my settings ended up, but they were better than the default. The default settings felt far too damped and heavy.
AC Evo has so much potential, I just hope it lives up to that by the time of the v1.0 launch. Kunos need to adjust the point of total traction loss because it feels way too effective. I've avoided some spins I feel like I shouldn't have been able to.
In GT7 stock the S2000 comes with Comfort Softs. Not sure how that would really line up with period correct tires for the car though. It seems older cars get a bit more modern levels of grip than they did in period. It does line up quite well with AC Evo’s grip level though.
Really shows how much better GT7 looks, at moments photorealistic. AC didn't improve on graphics at all from the first game that came out years ago. Still looks like a mobile game if you squint a bit.
is this a joke? Gran Turismo is just a simcade, ACE is a full sim. And it's just Version 0.1. Still the physics are more realistic than GT will ever be.
It’s quite extreme in AC EVO, you can have a big slide, mash the throttle to 100% and instead of getting wheel spin the car gains a lot of lateral grip. Yes, keeping weight on the rear can help stabilize a slide but that usually requires a bit of finesse and actual weight transfer. Feels a bit too easy and simplified right now, but this is early access.
I’m super glad that I bought PS5 Just For GT7 It’s Just The Best, Unbeatable By Anything, Nothing is even Remotely Close To Gran Turismo’s Well Made and realistic Physics. Let alone the visual fidelity and detailed car Models.
I don't agree with some comments about GT7 being a full arcade racer. It's not. And I agree with some comments about there being nothing wrong with "simcade" as a genre. It's a chosen design choice and there's nothing wrong with this. But, IMO if the goal is to compare the tire/handling physics of GT7 to titles like AC, ACC, ACE and iRacing in the pursuit of realism, we have to be honest and admit that GT7's approach is different (and therefore feels/behaves) differently. And as such, I certainly wouldn't award GT7's tag line "The Real Driving Simulator" to GT, as the other titles I mentioned have handling/physics that are closer to the real deal. Having said all this, in the end, while I prefer Kunos titles over GT7 (due to being closer to realistic), I won't deny that all these games mentioned are really good. We have choices. Prefer GT7? Great, play that. Prefer ACC? Great... we as a community of sim racers shouldn't be at war with each other over bizarre and pointless battles over which is better (again, this depends on what we are looking for in a sim), as this is a stylistic choice we make, driven (pardon the pun) by what is more important/enjoyable to us as individuals. There is no one size fits all.
@@user-ff5fe5ru6r then i must say i’m 100% disagreeing with you. I felt massive similarities in physics and handling with the irl cars that i drove that were available on GT7
You need to use more incendiary titles and thumbnails. The people need to see these technical breakdowns. Probably a good idea to title them ACE VS GT7 and then put keirths face on the thumbnail. You get the idea inflammatory thumbnail for the win.
AC Evo is the first sim where FWD's are actually fun and you can flick the cars into turns naturally. Tyre loads actually do have an effect. Driving is not just about reference points, endless turn-in understeer and power-oversteer as most sims tend to have. What goes to easy driving when weight transfer is a factor the feeling is very dynamic. Of course it's easy to handle the car on a wide and flat track but at the same time when going ten tenths into Acque Minerali at Imola it's very different ball game. Can't wait for the Nordschleife with all the elevation changes and compressions... Track driving eats HP for breakfast. What goes to S2000, the car isn't known for high power output.
Would love to see more comparison between the 2. Great Video really ❤ Can you in the future do the same between Wrc Generations and Ea Wrc? Thankyou very much. Youve got 1 more sub 🎉
After playing EVO over and over I can't wait until the full game is released and hope it turns out to be the best racing game known to man. EVO looks pretty good at full graphics settings especially the tracks, although it should get better hopefully when the full game is released. But after playing it over and over, the level of details in GT7 when I go back to it, stands out even more than usual. I mean it's just more noticeable. Even here in this video it jumps out. Materials in and outside the car just looks more convincing, like the texture on the dash. Can't say enough about the job that team Polyphony has done visually.
Car physics ac evo hands down and its not even close. Graphics gt7 is better but not by much ac evo is just in early alpha and we have not seen what it will offer in the full version i think ac evo will end up looking better. And Will most likely end up as a better game
Buy yourself a GPU, you re playing AC EVO on lowest graphics settings with damn billboards (2d trees). There is no point in comparing AC to GT because second one is so simple in terms of physics, its not far off arcades like grid or f1 series from codemasters. I can believe that people genuinely cant tell which one is more complicated and realistic just by feel, because as a musician i see deaf guitarist who are awesome players but cant spot obvious difference between guitar sounds.
From experience of racing FWD Hondas in real life I must say AC Evo is way closer to real life than GT7. I own both games and the FWD physics feel way too planted on GT7 even with the rear suspension stiffness maxxed out and the front on the softer side. The cars just plow no matter what you do on GT7. AC Evo naturally rotates on lift off oversteer very similar to real life without even tuning the car. The Golf GTI on AC Evo feels a lot like my Honda Fit behavior wise just with more power and less roll vs my real car.
People are comparing an early access game with 0.1V to a full game I mean come on do this after AC EVO is in a full release, in my opinion gt7 doesn’t stand a chance of being a realistic sim and not even close 90% of the cars in gt7 if you put wider wheels them just won’t turn and behave like I don’t know what and gt7 is saying it’s a sim
Ho no the road car in ACE is handling like a road car, how wierd. I dont want to be "this guy" or anything but this video was pretty dumb, the throttle feel loose like on any roadcar, the camber and toe is set like on any road car,... i dont get the point you are making. BUT i have to admit that the ABS systems isnt perfect at all!
The reason gt7 is harder when overdoing it is because it does not have proper gradual grip. This is an issue in most sim racers. Ecen acc. The shit is either on or off for grip. Once you go over the grip you're fkd. Acevo is indeed much easier. Its not just you. Because it has this gradualness to it. I would say generally acevo for me was much easier also due to the entire physics. The car just does what its supposed to do. Feels so natural. I have not had such a natural feeling driving in any sim. As for understeer. Cute. Gt7 is understeer city. Only time cars understeer in evo is if you are going too fast for the tyres to actually grip for their speed to the turn angle you are trying to get. If anything jerking the steering pulls the car in even more in evo even on that limit so no idea what you are talking about. What are your settings and wheel setup on? Braking and throttle to twist the car are also much more realistic. Throttle was already taken care of in acc and ac, but breaking had issues. Now breaking can be used to turn the car like it normally should. This was one of the biggest issues to breaking also in acc. It was just wrong. Iracing does it too much and again suffers the same issue acc and gt7 and other games suffer, once the grip is gone you're spinning out. Driving is actually not as hard in many of these cases as in sims. Most real life racers will tell you that you do not turn the car with the steering wheel, but the feet. If you go for just steering wheel you need to slow down much more to find the grip again. Most of the turning is done with the breaks and second the throttle. Playing with both simultaneously gives the most control. All this added up has made evo so responsive and precise, you can truly play with the car and its actually so much more fun than anything ive played on. I have not heard a single person, sim racer or real racer, say that evo is understeery, LOL, and i have not experienced this either. Even front wheel drive, they actually turn unlike most sims. So yeah, again no idea if ifs a setup issue on your end or a driving issue, but the elements you just described for evo, aside from it allowing you to still save the car when going beyond its limits, you are either the only one experiencing or among a minority. Idk mate, the more time passes the more i am convinced gt7 racers really have no idea how to drive. I keeo hearing some batsht explanations from them since forever and excuses as well to say how realistic gt7 is. Its not, its not even close to ac1, much less acc, and evo is not even in the question, evo blows both ac and acc out of the water. Just seems like habits in the end. I mean ive heard some very few people still praise ac1 for example. Same thing as gt7 players, they are just used to it it seems in the end. Gt7 players though honestly cant admit realism if it was looking at them straight in the eye. I could be wrong, but man if I have learned anything about gt7 players these years, its that.
You can slide but have a lot more control and grip to recover the slide, also overheating tires aren’t impossible to drive on so a lot more controllable I think overall.
AC 1 is widely considered one of the most realistic sims on the market, if it's always "slipping" it's because that's how it would have been in the real world

@abuelb It's amazing the amount of lies you make up and then you get likes. Did you like your own comment or something? Never once called GT7 a sim. I am more of a Forza fan actually. Probably a bigger fan of Forza games than you are. Probably spent more hours on all of them individually than you have, let alone the amount of time spent on all of them totalled up. I've got every FM and FH as their most expensive editions. Why am I mentioning FM? Because you're all over the place praising it like it is realistic and and made by the gods or something. Talking like a true fanboi. Here's some cold hard truth for you. You can't call someone a "phoney boy" when they BARELY play Playstation. I have gotten them all. Yes. But for exclusives only. That's it. It only gets used like 5% out of the year. No sense of speed? Yes, because you like unrealistic effects that don't t happen in real life and you like chase cam. Anyone complaining about SeNsE oF sPeEd is obviously using that amateur chase cam view. Race in cockpit like these types of games should be played. All that sense of speed is there and realistically so. VR adds for a bettwr and more realistic sense of speed. Sorry you can't afford things to know more though. I have multiple setups and high end TV's. In the current process of building my PC. Not some cheap mid their one either. No engine start? 😂😂😂 Like I said. I do not care. I did not claim GT7 to be a sim. But how about that other one you call a sim when it's a simcade. You know, all those FM comments you make. You can't use turn signals, hazards, low beams, high beams, flicker your lights, honk your horn, or turn your windshield wipers on during a race in FM. None of that is a feature for FM, but you can do all of that in GT7 with the touch of a button during gameplay. In GT7 you can change your brake bias and traction control while driving with the touch of a button or switch on your wheel during driving. Can't do any of that in FM. Again, I'm mentioning FM because you brought it up, and because you praise that cartoon of a game. If that upper compartment worked, you'd also know that saturation is a setting in the options when you pause the game. Believe it or not, real life can have saturation depending where you live and time of year. Cockpit motion is adjustable in GT7 as well and definitely looks better than FM. FM looks like you're flying around the track with its super stiff cockpit view. Keep making fanboi comments, kiddo. I just list facts. That has nothing to do with being a FaNbOi.

I also agree with the micro adjustments in GT7 being better. ACE still carries over a bit of stuff from the lethargic steering of AC1, but still feels much better than AC1.
In ac an expensive steering wheel works like a controller. You drive with little taps on a circular joystick!
Great Video Subbed look forward to more videos like this. Excellent.
It appears as though the acceleration is a bit quicker over on AC as well, otherwise your lap on GT would’ve been maybe 1-2 seconds faster
Great video, thx for the content!🙏👍
How can you compare? One is a completed Finished Game, the other an early access>>>>>???
Just comparing out of interest. It isn’t a competition.
AC Evo has so much potential, I just hope it lives up to that by the time of the v1.0 launch. Kunos need to adjust the point of total traction loss because it feels way too effective. I've avoided some spins I feel like I shouldn't have been able to.
Great work… even though in stock form the S2000 would have Comfort medium tires vs Comfort Softs.
😂 you think EVO looks the same as AC when it was released . Do you squint alot ?
bro what ?
Get your eyes checked. Ac evo looks way better than ac1. I dont think your remember very well.
Are you slow?
i would say evo looks better than gt7
Gran turismo 7 + PSVR2 + PS5 pro = full sim
yes I agree GT7 is part of Sim racing
absolutely not, if you say so, u dont understand what a sim is, cause gt isnt a sim at all
Physic wise it's good, experience wise it's more of an arcade experience @@nicholasbriolabriola_f20
Absolutely not. GT7 is Simcade, but never a Sim
@derjaxxer it is a sim ???????
is this a joke? Gran Turismo is just a simcade, ACE is a full sim. And it's just Version 0.1. Still the physics are more realistic than GT will ever be.
To neglegent people:
Arcade: need for speed
Simcade: forza
Sim: gt
(Sub category) Harcore sim: iRacing
You can very much stabilize some rwd cars on throttle. What are you on about?
It’s quite extreme in AC EVO, you can have a big slide, mash the throttle to 100% and instead of getting wheel spin the car gains a lot of lateral grip. Yes, keeping weight on the rear can help stabilize a slide but that usually requires a bit of finesse and actual weight transfer. Feels a bit too easy and simplified right now, but this is early access.
5:53 ugh, the body roll, suspension travel and everything in GT7 is so pretty 🥲 lol
Looks pretty fake😂
Nah, he was moving at a pretty good click and that’s a steep ass hill in real life
The lack of body roll in the other game is stoopid and looks like a Scalextric set.
I dont even see the video, and already know that the answer is NO!
Gt7 doesnt compare to any PC sim.
You have an opinion without even watch it.. 👏🤡
GT fans are delusional
Why is the asseto Evo flickering like it's a PS3 game?
Since its early access It has problems with screen capture and graphics in general.
I’m super glad that I bought PS5 Just For GT7
It’s Just The Best, Unbeatable By Anything,
Nothing is even Remotely Close To Gran Turismo’s Well Made and realistic Physics.
Let alone the visual fidelity and detailed car Models.
GT7 is NOT realistic. the moment you first try a Fanatec wheel you will see that GT7 went on for a full arcade approach
what? are you serious? i hope not
I use a Fanatec DD+ what about it makes Gran Turismo feel full arcade to you?
Competitor to GT7? Is it a joke?
AC EVO cannot compete w/ Gran Turismo if it isn't on the PS5 platform.
I believe the plan is a release on consoles after 1.0 version is released.
That'll get the gatekeepers' knickers in a twist, great troll :-)
Gt7 rights now is a Bugatti ,and EVO is a fuckin Fiat so please don't compare them. Many wenn EVO is complete u can do the compare.😊
Times really mean nothing,,,,,the handling is the big deal between these 2
every car is left hand drive. lame.
💯
um its early access compare the game when the full games is is available
Because you didn't try gt once!
@@lv407 ok😂😂 so I lied about having gt7? Is that something to lie about?
Ho no the road car in ACE is handling like a road car, how wierd. I dont want to be "this guy" or anything but this video was pretty dumb, the throttle feel loose like on any roadcar, the camber and toe is set like on any road car,... i dont get the point you are making. BUT i have to admit that the ABS systems isnt perfect at all!
I used to think that GT7 has a realistic simulation experience, UNTIL I drove the real car on a real race track. It's not bad, just doesn't accurate.
LOL
Can GT7 do cockput view steering wheel degree more than 180 left and right?
It can go up to 1080° but it isn't visually animated, the animation stops at 360°
The reason gt7 is harder when overdoing it is because it does not have proper gradual grip.
I could be wrong, but man if I have learned anything about gt7 players these years, its that.
damn man, do you need a hug?
You upset you wrote a book smh 🤦🏾♂️
why has gt7 not had any updates for so long? and seriously thank god for a.k.a. evo kaanori can retire
Do tires finally stick to the road? I have AC 1 and the driving sucks, always slipping
Maybe your driving skill sucks 😂
You can slide but have a lot more control and grip to recover the slide, also overheating tires aren’t impossible to drive on so a lot more controllable I think overall.
AC 1 has great driving physics. you just need to improve your driving
AC 1 is widely considered one of the most realistic sims on the market, if it's always "slipping" it's because that's how it would have been in the real world
@thatsmallguy6729 It's great if the mods are done right. Still have certain things that are lacking. The vanilla physics were terrible.
Grand Turismo has the worst sense of speed out of every car game. And you feel more in control cause gt7 is has the most arcade physics
Yeah, and you are ready for a neurological visit!🚑🚑🚑
@@lv407 it's been proven in other videos. And you can see it for yourself when you play gt7 compared to other games. I think you need reeducation
GT7 physics are so overrated
😂
Of course, they are the best only!
GT tracks are like billiard tables.
Yeah, and you are ready for hospital!🚑
Physics comparison
ACE > AC > ACC > FM8 > gt7 😂
Biggest FaNbOi alert.
Strictly biased. Goes on every channel he can to just put GT7 at the bottom, even against the cartoon (FM8) smooth surfaced simulator. 😂
He will sniff a fart and say it smells better than a rose, just because he doesn't like the rose.
@joescivic oh look, we found the no. 1 phony boy who thinks gt7 is a sim😂. No sense of speed, cockpit fake driving motion movie scene, no engine start, oversaturated color, driving simulator wannabe.😂 Enjoy your simcade, console boy.😂
@@joescivic its ok, phony boy. Theres no shame in playing simcade on console. Not everyone can afford a real driving simulation. Just be happy you got the best simcade on console ever made.😂
