Come on let's finish the build, nice job so far. I'm the third person to see video... Went looking for part two then realized not there, I guess I will have to wait.. I live in the USA Waterbury CT... You guys build some good shit.. Keep up the good work... Love it...
really lovin your videos from 13s to westoration and now this... wish you could make more...i like shows like wheeler dealers but this is more real and closer to home...
this is going to be awesome scotty! your old boy will sure be proud of you :) question though, how come you had all that grease of the cam when you installed it?
Both cranks were ground 10thou undersize on main and rod journals (got lucky there, didn't even have to change the bearings). Obviously I checked all this but didn't video it because it's boring as hell. :) Next engine build I do I'll video me breaking out the micrometers. :)
Good on you mate, a lot of people forget about the old 361 big block and that they served in trucks and some early imported American car's. She will be nose heavy but you are not racing it so that's not a problem. Big block and roll mate, your farther will be happy with you mate.
love the idea about doing it dads way. constructive criticism though- don't use your torque wrench to untorque bolts. Thats what they say where I work anyways.
Would be awesome to see all your cars projects ect like a shed walkthrough and make a vote on what to work on next? I dunno just throwing some ideas out there
6 1/2 years ago Scotty looks like it could of been filmed yesterday you haven’t changed a bit mate👍🏻 How’s a video get 20 thousand plus views and under 200 likes (not good enough viewer)
Top stuff Scotty. Nothing we love more than a Project Build. See you and the Ute at COTM.
Looking foreword too watching this build. Good luck on it.

Moly lube on the cam to protect the lobes at start up.
looking good bring on part 2
cool build.
Love these project videos Scotty, keep up the great work and I'll be looking forward to part 2. Your old man will be proud of you once it's finished!
Always got your safety boots on Scotty haha =)
Yeeeooooo see you on the Murray
Nice one; looking forward to following this build as it progresses
I didn't use a torque wrench to undo anything, but I understand the confusion. The noise was just the dry conrod nuts releasing tension.
Sweeeeeet!!!
Another video series by Scotty'sGarage. Will defiantly be following.
Excellent video as always Scotty - I'll be watching this closely...
Go hard Scotty.

What do you think of the 361
It's okay, I only got it because it's cheap. If I did it again I probably would have found a 383 for it.
Currently in the middle of starting a new job and moving house so all work on the cars has been delayed for the time being.
Lucky bastard landing that street machine gig
pulled the first one out and 8 to go? lol thats the kinda stuff i say Scotty. great tip with the fuel line.
