Some of these HOF legends didn't make much money during their careers so they end up signing to supplement their income. Here in Canada, it looks like Gordie Howe and Bobby Orr spent hundreds and hundreds of hours signing all day. Every dealer you meet has dozens and dozens of their autos. It will take years for the hobby to absorb.
