So amused by the "get your maid to ...."!. I love looking through 20s magazines! Makes you realise how we've moved forward in our perceptions! Looking forward to the follow up.
Those newspapers were amazing to see Simon. How cool that they survived in the ground for all these years. What a great way to repurpose those and the bottle stoppers as well. That was such an awesome upcycling Simon. Well done. Can't wait to see the special bottle you dug up. Hurry up next week. LOL
The frame with the bottle stoppers is just lovely. You are an artist. There is nothing I have enjoyed more doing or seeing in my life as much as finding “garbage” and making something beautiful or serviceable out of it. You often do both. I love your videos.
Hi si 😚 Fantastic upload yet again ! Absolutely LOVED the framed bottle stopper up cycle it's AMAZING, is there anything you are not talanted at !! Can't wait to see more !! ❣
Very cool picture frame. I started digging bottles when I was about 7 years old and an old dump from the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. I've been doing it ever since. Love the history. Great video. Stay safe. Again beautiful frame.
Great project! Very creative use of the decoupage to set off your bottle stopper collection. The clay pipe was a neat find: amazing the minute detail the maker was able to achieve on the busts of Edward and Alexandra.
Wow, Si, you really knocked it out of the park with that vulcanite bottle stopper decoupage frame. The newspaper background and white dry-rub paint really pulled it all together into an amazing piece. Well done!
Loved the bottle dig! The doll head and shoulders was the best! Adorable! Si, your bottle stopper frame is so cool! Very creative. Thanks for taking me along!
I love all your videos, Simon. I look forward to watching on Sunday evenings when I get home from taking care of my Mom. I love the bottle dumps, the Thames mudlarking and the Hovercraft History Hunters. They're all fun, interesting and historical. Love it! Stay safe, Simon! Sending love from Ohio, USA!
K Pax, Hey you from Ohio, Were you in that Huge Storm they tagged Heracho, I hope you and loved ones are safe and ok, from Iowa U.S.A. Bad here $3 Billion in damages 14 million acres in flattened crops and farmland devastating, everybody here needs prayers August 17th 2020
Really enjoy your videos. The bottle stopper display is wonderful. You seem to be like me in never throwing away anything. The 1920s newspaper was a great idea for the background.
As always, I had a great time hanging out with you. Awesome finds and treasures! Love the clay pots and the beautiful pipe bowl. I remember when the cops showed up before...I couldn't stop laughing...it was great fun! Til next time, stay safe and keep those you cherish close! ~Jen
I love the tiny bottles and you found so many! My favorite find of this haul is the boy dolls head. Boy dolls are probably rare. Thanks for the great video!
Oh my goodness what a creative and beautiful way to display some of your bottle stopper's!! Nice bottle finds also I can't wait to see what else you turned up as always thank you for all your hard work!!
I love bottle digging most! Think it's the thrill of the old and unknown hidden "treasures",also few of us have the opportunity of ever digging in an old dump. The UK had the most beautifull old bottles. Always enjoy the beautifull bottles, bottlediggertom unearthed!
I LOVE what you did with the bottle stoppers! You are so creative! My hubs isn't really interested in mudlarking videos, but I always show him your projects and he's always impressed so I sent this one to him. Looking forward to next week's video!

What a creative project with the vulcanite bottle stoppers! I love how you are able to find the old adverts for the bottles and we get to see the “cures” for ailments!
Wow! Really enjoyed this video! It was a treasure trove of bottles! I loved the tiny doll heads! The one with the broken face reminds me of the Phantom of the Opera mask. Nicola must of envied the pipe with King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra on it! I recognized Queen Alexandra but couldn't remember who she was consort of...I always get the Edward's and George's mixed up! It was a perfect resemblance of Queen Alexandra. The frame with the bottle stoppers was brilliant! The newspaper back drop was so fascinating to look at and read! The Bulls Distillery bottle...was that a wee bit of a haunting there when you set the bottle on the table??? Lol! Can hardly wait for part 2 next week on more bottle finds!
Haha. Cheers Austen! I may have knocked the table with my knee. Haha! Great comment. Agree and smiled along with all of it. Thanks for watching pal and long time Mudlover!
Thanks Si. I made the pipe comment before the end of the video, sorry. But woohoo! I was correct. How exciting to learn history from artifacts. Really nice art you created with the stoppers. Looks like it could be pub decor. Take care👍🤠
Haha, lots of teasers in this video. Great finds and your art projects are awesome. Your wind chime you made a while back was an inspiration for me to make one myself. So I can't wait for next week to see what you find.
