  • The weather is freezing, it’s snowing, and we’re out bottle digging. What an absolutely incredible two days of digging. Some outstanding finds, and the most green we have ever dug at one time. Also a possible paranormal voice was captured during a live pull, listen to it and tell us what you think we captured? I hope you all enjoy this video as much as we did making it for you. Stay safe during this massive snow storm hitting us now, and make sure to like and subscribe if you haven’t already.

This so much reminded me of the time I lived in Flanders, Belgium. This used to be the Western Front of the First World War. I started to dig a hole for a pond.....and ended up in a frontline trench. I knew I was in the area where lost of fighting happened back in 1914-1918, but I wasnt aware of how close I was, I was basically living on top of the front line itself. I found bottles, metal items like buttons, belt buckles, cartridges, ammo clips and even a machine gun, unfortunately so fragile I couldnt lift it from the ground, it disintegrated in my hands:( But the energy of that place, OMG! And haunted as well. Lots of weirdness still going on in that area. Your finds are really awesome, in such good condition.

My neighbor's 10 year-old kid got sick and died, and wound up in my place as a ghost. When he talks (disembodied voice) it's normal, but when you record him or he plays with our Karaoke machine etc his voice sound strange - like the one you captured. We lived at our old place for over 10 years, and he was with us the entire time; I actually kinda miss him (he'd run around our place, he'd play with stuff - one time when I was sick I heard him next to me say, "mommy, are you okay"?

When I worked as a machinist, on the main floor talking with 2 coworkers. I felt a tug several times on my flannel shirt as if a toddler would do from behind. I thought one of the guys playing around. As I looked back no one there. Asked the two guys, who was behind me tugging on the bottom of my shirt? They said, no one was behind you. Very very odd indeed.

So cool, I didn’t know there were other people out there that did this! My dad was an avid bottle digger all of his life here in the u.k. He had a brilliant collection of bottles, pipes, cream pots and lids, dolls heads and all kinds of amazing things. He would sometimes take me along as a child to sit and watch as he found these wonders of the past, I spent so much great time with him and his hobby I became a wealth of knowledge on this type of thing myself. Brought me back some good memories to see this. Sadly my dad recently has passed away, whats left of his collection I have now inherited and I will always cherish it. He would of really loved this

3:48 The piece you found looks like Wedgwood. That distinctive style is a trademark design called Jasperware. It was first produced by Wedgwood at the end of the 18th century, although I suspect that piece was made much later. It was meant to emulate Roman cameo glass, hence the cameo style. The style proved hugely popular since this period of the Enlightenment reconnected itself with classical art and culture. The scenes are often mythological and depict the Gods, or relate a well known story.
    EDIT:typo.

@@litabelaqua I figured as much, the style and quality of a Wedgwood piece is quite distinctive, even on camera after it's been buried in the dirt for years. Personally, I prefer the black pieces. 😀
      EDIT:typo.

    • @bullzdawguk
      @bullzdawguk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Thought I'd add further information about Wedgwood that you may find of interest.
First, I could kick myself. I have been spelling Wedgwood with an 'e'. It's not Wedgewood, it's Wedgwood. Perhaps it's another Mandela Effect. 🤣🤣🤣 Although, I doubt it very much.
An interesting fact about Josiah Wedgwood (the founder of Wedgwood) has to do with his granddaughter, Emma. She was the wife of Charles Darwin, yet another British legend. The two families had close ties due to the fact Josiah and Erasmus Darwin (Charles' grandfather) were members of the Lunar Society. The Lunar Society was a group of open minded free thinking scientists and industrialists. It had many well-known members, such as, James Watt.
Finally, if you want to date the piece you found, please check out the link I'll provide at the end. Hopefully, it will give you a better idea of its approximate age. I recognised the piece you found because my mother has one just like it. It was the cupids that gave it away. Cupid had a very different image in the past and it's nothing like the one we have today. In modern times, cupid is seen as shooting you with his arrow and you fall in love. In Elizabethan times, cupid was seen as having more of a hypnotic effect, rendering you into a pawn of its choosing, unable to resist. I love history. Can you tell? 🤣
Anyway, here's the link, as promised.
      questionerlab.com/how-do-you-date-wedgwood#:~:text=How%20do%20you%20date%20Wedgwood%3F%20Wedgwood%20jasperware%20can,order%2C%20the%20month%2C%20the%20potter%2C%20and%20the%20year.

It turned out to be a Dad's root beer bottle, "junior size", from the 1940s. Dark brown, no chips, although the printed-on label is pretty much gone. I could see some kid enjoying a frosty cold root beer then tossing the bottle in the lake for me to find decades later. I still have it.

Good day Crick diggers I just started watching your channel this morning in fact... I have always had an interest in Old bottles and other antique, vintage things, that being said, just watching this first video I am absolutely amazed! That perfume bottle, or whatever it might be? Is by far my favorite at this point in the video! I love the beautiful container that's missing the lid with people dancing on it etc all such beautiful things but like I said the perfume bottle takes the Cake! Back in the day they took pride in everything they did, from the look of the bottle to the formulation of whatever goes in it?. I am a plantsman but like I said I collect and love old things. The Rose, as well as the, what looks like sand or stippling on the bottom of the bottle is such a nice blend of textures.... Okay I'm going to stop because I could go on and on. Thank you so much for having a channel for people that love not only trying our hands at doing what you guys do but also watching. One question.
Where are the best spots to look for things like this? I live in a small town called Butler in Pennsylvania just north of Pittsburgh. Again I want to thank you guys for having an awesome channel! I will be watching many many of your videos? May peace be upon you all!

What a Great Dig! A little headless, frozen Kewpie doll. Possibly a green and white embossed Wedgewood Queensware sugar bowl. Shaker may be from occupied Japan. When they became independent as a country, they destroyed anything with occupied Japan stamped or hand painted on it, so it became more sought-after due to it's rarity. Chris' green mug was interesting. Sweet little pink lamp base 1870s? A blue ink, milk glass ink and a Carter's ink? Never saw a Carter's before and am glad you at least tried to find the top for it. Too many diggers don't do that. That voice sounded similar to what the audio of a radio transmission sounds like? Perhaps it was picked up by the phone? (Here is an example of what I'm talking about). Many years ago, my brother was going through an extremely challenging time. His phone rang and he said "Hello", the voice said his name. He said, "Who is this?" The voice said, "I'm your Mother." He was overwhelmed with mixed emotions. You see, our Mom had passed away decades earlier. There is a movie here on YT named Frequency, that may clarify better.
God Bless and Protect You All!

I really liked this video! It was very nice to see the items cleaned up. And you found the inkwell lady head!
Some people asked where to look for bottles. I'm in New England and my mom read that the bottles were commonly thrown over the stone wall in the back where the two sides come together. So, out she went with her shovel and found quite a few nice old bottles.
When I saw that piece of wedgewood come uip, I thought, "I bet the kids broke the top and got it disappeared out to the trash before mom got home."
You cleaned those pieces up really well. They looked great.
    Thanks for a great video.

***I live in upstate NY. Live in a old farmhouse built in 1836. 2011 the crick flooded, well the entire area flooded. My son was walking down in the crick after the water went down. He had me help him pull up a old headstone that he thought was for the neighbors dog that passed. We set it on their porch. The neighbor came running over a few hours later asking if I put a human headstone on her porch. She had cleaned it off and saw their was a last name on it and 2 dates of birth and 2 dates of death chiselled in the stone. Did some research and found the headstone was from a family that lived in my house. Two of the family members died younge and only a about a year apart back in 1841 I believe. The headstone now sits between the neighbors property line and ours. We also found out the headstone was orginally placed by a huge willow tree along the crick bank. Through the years it must have just gotten covered with the earth and the flood unearthed it and the tree as well. Still amazed at what my son found. He was 13 at the time and boy was he surprised!***

He’s wrote and published four books, and from the stuff I’ve seen in person and what he’s showed us that is almost 99% a spirit. I know you guys dig near gravesites a lot so one question, we’re you this time? Still creepy either way. Have a good day guys!

I wonder if in a hundred and twenty years from now some guys from the future will be digging through one of our dumps for our discarded crap with as much enthusiasm as you two have. Woo hoo look I found another plastic Coca Cola bottle. It's even got the lid on it. For some reason I doubt anyone will find our modern day garbage as anything but garbage.

Great archeological find. That's one of the first European settlements for sure. Are you keeping track of the building structures too. This could be great to find out more about the first settlements and our history. Maybe even worthy for archeologists. Native American finds are harder to track because the wood is rotten and it's pretty hard to find them arrow heads and so on.
