@@wtfblossom Elden Ring has that something, the progression and freedom is so nice for newcomers. Exploration makes you engage with the difficulty so nicely. This game is such a good introduction to Souls and is an godlike game!

The first boss is not a scripted death. You can beat it, just new players wont :))
Ohh good to know! I found a secret path to him later in my playthrough and beat him around level 50, so I got my revenge 😂
