Making mahogany and white pine toaster tongs

  • Hello all! These lovely tongs are made from mahogany and white pine, glue, epoxy and leather.
    The idea came from a co-worker of mine, since people cannot wait to grab their recently toasted bagels, bread, susan b. anthonies, etc. I decided to make these finger saver 500's! Hope you enjoyed watching!

    Looks good every time I can't get something out of the toaster I just use a butter knife but my mom says one day I will shock myself it would be worth while making one of those

    The chop saw is called a "thumb remover" for a reason. You are demonstrating how *not* to use one.
    Nice tongs, however!

    Beautiful Work... I kept thinking, that’s too big, surely he’s going to split this project into two or something ... then I realized... you were making it for...
