      The Nomadic Polywright Show I think it is, but it's not plastic either, it's supposed to be rosewood veneer ;-) But you're right, it looks a lot like leather.

    Nice work, but i do wish people realised they could push the switch up to raise the toast out of the toaster. Pretty much every toaster I've used had that feature

    Heard about these today, never knew they existed before. Can't understand the need for them really though, I've been making toast now for many years and a pair of tongs isn't something I thought I ever needed and I've never burnt my fingers. Are some people such wusses nowadays that they need tongs to lift a simple slce of toast out of a pop up toaster. Really!

    • @FabiansTinyWorkshop
      @FabiansTinyWorkshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This video was my entry for the kitchen utensil build challenge 2015. I did not make the Toaster Tongs because I needed them but because I needed something to build for the challenge. And No! I don't think there is a need for Toaster Tongs in this world ;-)

      @@FabiansTinyWorkshop Apologies to you, I certainly meant no criticism of your work and skills, you are very talented. It just amazed me that something I'd never heard of until today was actually a real thing and how unnecessary they were. I do suppose they may be useful in other ways though. Keep on with your good work though. :-)
