Sylem Yeldud but maybe women do that because of the constant pain they are in. if you were in a terrible pain constantly you would be irritable too, yes?
Sylem Yeldud im not sure to what degree you are saying she is "taking it out on you" im assuming its just a normal amount. maybe you and your girlfriend need to sit down and have a talk. its not normal for us to be extremely angry. she could be in a lot of pain and might need to see a doctor. there could be something wrong. i know a few women that were like that and it was either their hormones werent in balance and one had two vaginas.
Cy Person that is not how periods work we can’t just stop having them there is birth control but some women either can’t get it or have health reasons they can’t take it or religious reasons and you still get at least some form of a period on a lot of birth controls

I don’t think sex has anything to do with pain tolerance, I think it depends on the person edit: haha i’ve dome some research, and it has nothing to do with either. your body compares your current pain to the pain you’re felt before, so gender has nothing really to do with so men can stop being so salty with their ever so fragile masculinity✨
Young Sinatra I don't think that's true, why would their bodies need to handle bullet shots .Probably punches, but If anything bullets are meant to kill any human
Pain tolerances depends on a person's mentally towards how they perceive pain. If you think it's going to hurt or your anxious it's going to hurt more.
+diane rogers no, if girls have better pain tolerance, regardless of what you identify as, if you have female genitals, you'll have better pain tolerance. same goes for guys.
Wrong, generally men have a higher pain tolerance, women have a slightly more intricate nervous system. They feel more pain but generally recover from more serious injuries which in some cases would kill men.
It's kind of surprising how much it hurts your nail beds. I know the video says not to try it, but try it. Then again, I'd like to hear a little more about what they experienced as they were going through it. Also, bringing attention to which gender may or may not have an advantage at the beginning of the video may prime the subjects to behave in a certain way over others.
If men had better pain tolerance to women, then men will be the ones dealing with all the pain of periods, being pregnant, wearing extremely tight bras, and all the pain women deal with
aмвar тree I meant that it's not because women have higher pain tolerance that it's them who become pregnant. It's because they have been biologically made like that. If men had uterus,a wider pelvis which is more expandable and the required hormones they we'd have dealt with the pain too.
this wouldn't prove pain tolerance even with a larger sample size. this only proves temperature sensitivity. which has already been proven to be higher in women
Even though pain tolerance is very individual, it is proven in many studies that men often can tolerate higher levels of pain than women, but that women physically and mentally can handle and sustain the same amount of pain for a longer time. That's is an evolutionary thing, as most women bear and give birth to children, they have to be able sustain high amounts of pain for a longer time, and men, who traditionally have been "providers" therefore have been programmed to be able to handle high amounts of pain for shorter periods of time.
It ties together with lots of other evolutionary things, like that women a lot of the time have higher amounts of body fat then men, athleticism or non- athleticism aside.
They did the men's pregnancy challenge thing. They couldn't handle the Extreme level for over 5 minutes. Some women have to do that for 2-3 days NONSTOP.
I remember hearing from a reliable TH-cam video that pregnant women releases endorphin (or some kind of hormone, sorry I forgot) that helps in reducing pain during pregnancy.
Karolina Nowakowska show me the evidence? It is not proven, in fact. Changes upon individuals, not gender. You would say that black and white people have different tolerances, would you?
That’s not pain, they’re testing tolerance of cold! That depends more on peripheral circulation in extremities, in which women usually have more problems, like Raynaud's phenomenon
Pain is subjective and differs on a person to person basis. You could get an entirely different group of people and have the opposite results happen. I want to see the actual studies, though, because I really don't trust articles or news media when it comes to scientific studies.
DarkSpiritMorrigan exactly i for example had migraines for 15 years and run around in a t-shirt in winter because sure it is cold but it doesn't bother me and like the one woman said "yeah it is pain, but it is constant pain so i will just live with it for now"
Dawndere 101 Not really. Men are stronger. It's more of an anatomical thing. (If it makes my point any stronger, i'm a feminist and ppl say feminists don't accept that men are stronger😂😂)
Deepdarkmidnight D.D.M. we also go through something called a period EVERY MONTH and have to deal with all the pain of that every month ... I think we know who the winner is here 😏
but men don't have periods so i don't see your point in that sentence, also no you cant just stop your period by choice if that's what you were trying to say. (i couldn't read it cause of your horrible grammar)
It really depends on the person. Some women, for example my mother, said that my birth was relatively easy compared to what it is said to be. I recently went on a hike with 3 other people. These people were my girlfriend, my best friend, and his girlfriend. The other couple quit the hike about halfway through whereas my girlfriend and I kept going. Pain tolerance comes down to the person that is experiencing it. Certain pains are worse than others, but most of these pains are not gender specific.
You cant just determine this by gender. I mean you could take a man from Canada and a woman from California. Their life style also determines this stuff
Although all studies have shown men have a higher pain tolerance, thats actually a pretty interesting point. A rugged tough dude from middle america is probably gonna last a little longer than someone who's never labored a day in his life
in branson Missouri there is actually a titanic museum u can feel how cold the water was what they showed on the video was nothing compared to how cold the water was on the titanic
My mom had to do that for ten minutes with her foot then switch it to hot for ten then cold then hot and we had to do it to be supportive it was fun totally fun I lasted longer than my sister and dad in fact my mom to uhh oh well
Maybe if you actually got a job, and spoke truth, then people wouldn't treat you like a child 24/7... This comment makes me sick. No one is even being sexist, do you know what sexist means??? It means to hate on someone becaise of their gender. But god forbid a man say hi to a woman, or hold the door, or be any kind of nice. But if a man doesnt hold her door, or doesnt say hi, its also sexist. MAKE UP YOUR MIND
***** i see your point, however when I do get notifications I don't have to go back to the video, I don't give them more views at all, unless I press play. Which is sad, it should've been going back to the video.
The problem with this is that pain tolerance is completely subjective. My dad and I were putting some wood into a wood chipper and he managed to get a finger snagged by one of the blades, cutting it off to the second knuckle and all he said the entire time was. "God dammit," Then again he's a nurse, so not only was he shockingly calm, he instantly got to work in tying it off with a shoelace before driving himself to the hospital. No tears, no panic, in the end he didn't even lose that much blood either.
The M4 Bruh As absurd as this may sound it could also have to do with the fact that for a very long time he studied various styles of kung fu. I've seen him do some pretty insane things. Sadly I'm a lazy bum that isn't much like him so I never really learned any kung fu from him other than just really basic self defense stuff.
Are you forgetting how everything you just mentioned is a perfectly normal, biological process? Females were designed for those sorts of things, despite it being painful
Let’s review: Women give birth Women have periods Birth: contractions, labour, actually giving birth Periods: cramps, feeling sick, headaches, etc.. Hmm...i don’t think this is a pain tolerance video but a “who can stand the cold for the longest”
Uhm, that doesn't mean anything. Women still complain about those things and who says if men did go through all that they would be complaining? They could just deal with all that like it's nothing and we'll never know because in the end they don't go through that stuff.
I did that thing where you get strapped up to simulate pregnancy for a guy to feel what their wife's feeling. Did it the whole way through so the wife wasn't alone. Gotta say, getting a root canal with no numbing agent hurts worse.
Studies have proven that women feel pain more intensely but have a higher pain tolerance, but generally it can depend on the person. I think though that women tend to have a higher pain tolerance because of periods, giving birth, etc. where as men don’t have to worry about that
Safiya's reaction was so cute!!! "Oh it's cold" *Straight face* "Mmmmmmm, I don't like it~" *Makes an adorable sad face while pulls hand out* AHHHHHHH!!!
Pain tolerance is different for everyone. For example, my mother gave birth to me and baked a cake on the same day but I cry every time I pluck my eyebrows. We both have xy chromosomes but she is so much stronger
there’s these things in our bodies called chemicals...(that are different for men and women) and that can cause your pain tolerance to be higher or lower
Actually, there’s a reason they refer to it as “sex.” Gender is non-biological, even though for many people, sex and gender align. Sex, however, is your biological state, which includes things like hormones that actually DO affect things like pain tolerance (even if this is a subject category).
Pussins I was a big baby when it came to giving birth. I had them bring on the epidural as soo as they could. It wasn't like I was getting a plaque for going without or something.
Different people have different pain tolerances. If they got a different group of people the results could be totally different. Plus different people can react to different painful things differently. Like someone who grew up in a cold climate might not think the cold is as painful as someone who grew up in a warm climate.
This video's concept is so annoying. Neither gender has a 'higher pain tolerance'. Women typically go through more physical pain throughout their lives such as cramps, headaches, muscle aches, and all these horrible side effects of periods (I'm not saying men don't experience these things, but women do for 7+ days every single month - and if not, they're pregnant). The amount of pain you can endure has nothing to do with the amount of pain you've experienced. Periods are most definitely a natural process that our bodies are meant to endure, however, they aren't usually taken seriously; women either have to deal with these pains or lie to get out of doing something that they can't physically do because of tremendous pain. Some women even have conditions that make the side effects worse. Do we complain sometimes? Of course. I believe we should be able to complain about pain that can render us bedridden and has been compared by a male doctor to a heart attack.
Ask any chronic pain sufferer and they will tell you that the amount of pain you have experienced in your life has a HUGE influence on how high your pain tolerance is....I have daily pain that on a good day sits at 9 on the pain scale.....bad days are way off the charts. Ive had the pain constantly for 19 years now. Ive actually had a heart attack and managed to completely ignore it because without pain control I simply didnt notice it.......Im in heart failure, its incredibly dangerous to not notice new pain so Im now forced by my cardiology team to take pain meds.....
teamleobaby if you tell the people it's a competition, It's going to be a bad idea, everyone will try to win, it doesn't matter if it's a girl or a boy. Besides if the hands are ticker because they ride a motorbike everyday, or use my hands a lot, my superficial nerves can be less because I have more keratin layers on my skin... so... this is not a final stand (sorry I actually speak spanish).

I don’t think sex has anything to do with pain tolerance, I think it depends on the person
edit: haha i’ve dome some research, and it has nothing to do with either. your body compares your current pain to the pain you’re felt before, so gender has nothing really to do with
so men can stop being so salty with their ever so fragile masculinity✨

Wrong, generally men have a higher pain tolerance, women have a slightly more intricate nervous system. They feel more pain but generally recover from more serious injuries which in some cases would kill men.
This is more like who can last longer with ice cold water not actually pain?

this wouldn't prove pain tolerance even with a larger sample size. this only proves temperature sensitivity. which has already been proven to be higher in women
@@jessbehan0265 you really think we just gonna take your word and believe it
Even though pain tolerance is very individual, it is proven in many studies that men often can tolerate higher levels of pain than women, but that women physically and mentally can handle and sustain the same amount of pain for a longer time. That's is an evolutionary thing, as most women bear and give birth to children, they have to be able sustain high amounts of pain for a longer time, and men, who traditionally have been "providers" therefore have been programmed to be able to handle high amounts of pain for shorter periods of time.
It ties together with lots of other evolutionary things, like that women a lot of the time have higher amounts of body fat then men, athleticism or non- athleticism aside.
ohh that's interesting
They did the men's pregnancy challenge thing. They couldn't handle the Extreme level for over 5 minutes. Some women have to do that for 2-3 days NONSTOP.
LeAnn Liu It really is. I think that's why for example you often hear many tattoo artists say that girls/ women sit better.
I remember hearing from a reliable TH-cam video that pregnant women releases endorphin (or some kind of hormone, sorry I forgot) that helps in reducing pain during pregnancy.

I think we know who the winner is here 😏
u still whine about it every month, if u couldve stopped it u wouldve. if men had a period they'd have to go through it as well
but men don't have periods so i don't see your point in that sentence, also no you cant just stop your period by choice if that's what you were trying to say. (i couldn't read it cause of your horrible grammar)
Deepdarkmidnight D.D.M. You are right THANK YOU
It really depends on the person.

THANZEER, I would love to see your proof or anything so it would bring better insight for me.

Actually, there’s a reason they refer to it as “sex.” Gender is non-biological, even though for many people, sex and gender align. Sex, however, is your biological state, which includes things like hormones that actually DO affect things like pain tolerance (even if this is a subject category).

Different people have different pain tolerances. If they got a different group of people the results could be totally different. Plus different people can react to different painful things differently. Like someone who grew up in a cold climate might not think the cold is as painful as someone who grew up in a warm climate.

I can handle hot way better than cold water. I can't take cold water! though born n raised in the uk so go figure lmho
It’s just saying on average which sex has more
This video's concept is so annoying.
Idk why people say periods hurt xD mine don't. And if they do hurt for you, I am sorry...
