    the guys who make fishing lures buy there eyes on e bay very cheap and would suit these birds worth a look

      Thanks for the great tip, Kevin. I did check it out. They come in red, yellow and silver. I think the silver would probably work and incredibly cheap. Could use for my mice as well!

    Nice video Mike. Neat trick on the offset turning. I was surprised at how much tilt you were able to get. I will certainly keep that in mind for future projects. Great job!

    nice lil project Mike. maybe on the next bird put the side grain growth rings on the side of the bird to make it look like the wings. have a good one

      No, but it was not multi axis. Just a simple shape turned after I turned round and added a tenon to hold in a chuck.

    One of your birds has feet. Would you share some close ups of the deet and how you made them?

      Revisit the scene at abouut 20:18. It is a thin piece of wood cut with a scroll saw or coping saw.
