posuprstar thank you! You really need to wrestle her in the turn while the 9R is easier to lean down and forgives more hesitations. But once it is in the turn it feel like it’s on a rail. Engine wise, the 9R is faster to gain RPMS but it feels as if the SPS has more “curve”, more torque. I hope it makes sense?!
The Italian Pursuit makes sense thanks! Assuming the 9R is more comfortable too? What about sound? I’ve heard some 9R clips and it also sounds like a beast.. game for you: 916 SP, 996SPS, 999R what if you could only keep one? :)
@@thekingmezger nope, besides the Showa forks for the ' 99, rims were black whereas those on the '00 were grey (anthracite). I have a little doubt about weight though, can't remember if '00 were a little lighter or if I'm mistaken.
My shop just bought 2 SPS from original owner. I’d like to talk to you about them. One has miles the other is an 18 digit VIN and no miles. Bill Nation Pro Italia Motors Glendale CA
Great taste in machinery, good man
I just checked the local ducati dealer here in my region. They have one for sale for 22.300 euros.
Incredible...what a coinsidence!!! my 916 SPS has the number 063, too!!! But she lives and drives thru the Swiss Alps...un caro saluto 🤘💪👍😍
Gian Marco Badrutt ahah incredible!!! Sisters from far away! Ciao
Dream life you have. 2 of the best Superbikes in my opinion and you have 911 Turbo.
I see you have good taste 2 996’s in the driveway, I love the car better, but I always think about to drive a bike as well
Noel Ágoston Kovács thanks yes 996 is a magic number!
Loving your channel! I’ve got a 996S, 900SS SP and a 1999 Carrera. Similar toys!
I know this video is about the 996 bike, but the best thing shown is actually the 996 car (996 Turbo in the driveway)
Absolutely beautiful car
Thanks! 996s are amazing cars!
Beautiful bike, I can definitely hear your Texas accent!
cactus fxr ahahah
Yes , She is the Queen of all bike. And if You notice the design, still no bike of today, including new Ducati can beat her. She is just an Art Work.
Really enjoying the videos and I too own and share the love of the 996 sps 👍
Beautiful bike, i got one too #143x
I used to have a 996 engined Foggy replica, now a 996 biposto and the SPS versions are a different animal.
Wonderful bike!
Great bike and video! How does it compare to your 999R? Iconic styling aside of course

posuprstar i have a surprise video for you then... a new entrant!
posuprstar sound wise, the 999R with the racing Termignoni wins hands down. The term “intoxicating” i find it to be appropriate.
@@thekingmezger looking forward to it!
Air intake isn't carbon on sps, it airbox is though.
As you show is a personal upgrade. Also rims are different between 99 and 00 ;)
Desmo you sure about the rims? I think between 916SPS and 996 SPS sure but I thought all 996 SPS had Marchesini

Desmo ah yes, color wise they were different, I agree. Still Marchesini. I’d be curious to learn about the weight if you fond out. Cheers
