Nice shooting and nice night vision video. Looks like fun.
Thank you.
Here, where I live ground squirrels are the problem. I have a cattle rancher friend who request I shoot as often as I can. Yesterday with my Ruger 204 caliber, there are 73 less squirrels to worry about! I look forward to all your videos and Jack too!
Thanks Fly thats a top afternoon there for sure...
Hey Fly! That's what we shoot! But our fields are drying up . . . plague? Poison? Or . . .??
@@briananonymous724 Hi Brian, I find the 204 a very accurate round! My best shot yesterday was just under 200yds. Not quite as good as Simon’s shooting, but I’m working on it.
@@Col-Hogan Yup! I like the .204 a lot. I've been shooting the 39 gr SBK w/Varget. We shot 2 weeks ago, and my longest hit was right at 200. I won't tell you how many misses (very gusty winds)! They're small and fast, and hard to see.🙂
@@briananonymous724 Varget is a great powder! I use it for my 22-250, 243 and .308 In the .204 I’m using Accurate 2460, 27.8 grains pushing a 26 grain Barnes Varmint Grenade. I’ll have to try Varget in the 204!
Like I once to you before Simon practice with the Air Rifle is pefection with the centre Fire rifle. Nice to see you in action on the Rats.
Thanks Ian.
Some of they rats were huge.
Another good hunt Simon.
Thanks Dougie ye they were pal.
#4:03 RAT "wheres that noise coming from" then proceeds to do a crocodile death roll👍😜
Lol ye strange kind of death roll that Nial..
much respect for the heads up you give everyone , before starting to watch .
Thanks pal.
Good to see you back. Ratting this time. Superb marksmanship.
Thanks a lot moon
Not sure why this is so satisfying, but it is.
Thanks mate.
You definitely had your hands full with the size of some of them rat's. There were a couple the size of my foot. Great video an remember what you didn't get that night you'll get them another night. Stay Safe ✌️
Thank you Bill you sure are right...
stoned em! great shooting. that night vision scope view is amazing
Thanks J.
Howdo! Did you have a flask of sumatt warm t'drink? An' a liccle bite t'eat? Fab marksmanship as usual, wouldn't expect owt else t'be fair!! Them rats would feed my snake a treat! Get em in t'freezer 😀. Any road up, I was in Middlesbrough at the weekend at a Champ show and Bodie and Bear both qualified for Crufts 2023 🥰 WoooHoooo 💕
Hyia Bexy hope your still fine and dandy, ye your doing well with your four legged friends you should video it and put it on your TH-cam 😃.
that owl was like: Thanks now i don't have to work lol.
Sure was.
Maybe just me but I hate to kill anything. However I understand why this needs to be done. Thank you for taking the time for straight kill shots and not letting them suffer long.
Thank you my friend
Well done Simon some very tidy shooting.
Cheers Dewayne, that pigeon day you had was a cracker..
Great shooting and a great service provided for the farmer!
Thanks Joseph.
Very impressive you have the patience of Jobe.
Thank you John i love being out this time of year...
Very satisfying. Love the scope.
Thanks Don.
I have no idea how this video was offered to me and I have never fired a gun in my life but as someone else said there is something so satisfying about this video.
Cheers pal TH-cam at times i don't understand a bit like women.
That owl probably isn't hungry with so many rats available. Great shooting man some of those rats don't go down with a head shot.
They do Jason just doesn't look like it with the nerves
Excellent Simon👍…..I’m out tomorrow evening/ night on Charlie can’t wait 👌
Nice one pal good luck..
This video probably deserve millions. I'll still call myself one of the first at 351,000 views.
Lol cheers Ramon.
This perfection is breathtaking ! I look forward to every further video from you.
Thank you so much Peter..
god damn im lucky to have found this video.
question, why was the bb bullet centered as well with the video? did you do it in post prod or is the go pro like directly on top of the scope or does the scope have a built in video recorder? and i saw a comment below that u have a rangefinder built in as well with the scope but did u use it for every shot? so that every shot was precise and humane? or did you just stick to a range like 50m and just instinctly aiming? and lastly is the scope we see in the video directly from your scope or is it added in post prod?
The scope has a built in range finder pal but i use it now and again as all the shots are around my zero and what you see is all through the scope no editing or any thing..
@@simon6ppc246 oh wow thats cool as heck. i never knew this kind of technology even existed. thanks man 👍🏻
Great vid Si, I have an HW100 and love it, good simple rifles,👍👍
Thanks Eddie ye top rifles for sure pal.
Awesome video I really like a very accurate .177 at work 👍🐀🐀
Thanks pal ye me also👍
Well done mate, nice bit of relaxation after the stresses of fox shooting. 👍
To right Steven i enjoy the rats the same if not more than fox shooting as i am going soft with age..
Love it bro this brings back memories 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Teddy.

“You spin me right round baby. Right round. Like a record baby. Right round round round.”
Ye strange death roll that Pal i would have said.
That owls like "shit I'll just wait here for you to finish man"
Lol ye he was.
Not many people have the patience. Kudos 👍
Cheers mate..
Great night's work, Simon. Had to laugh at the 'roller' - what was he doing? Some pretty technical shots in there too. Regards to Jack. 💪
Thanks Hugh i sure will my friend.👍
Lovely follow up shot on that one rat, cracking vid as always👍👍
Thanks Jon..
Good little session that Simon, hate it when they won't sit still, Haha!
Ye i kind of got giddy on that one pal lol
A .204 suppressed would be just fun overkill & magical. It's pretty much a handloaders cartridge anymore. Great shooting as always.
Cheers mate..
thats one accurate rifle setup, and good shooting
Thanks Antony.
Your marksmanship makes this very humane, well done
Cheers mate
Always the best, Simon
Thank you my friend.
Sitting on the toilet, drinking a beer and REALLY enjoying this!😁😁
Lol nice one
Excellent video and outstanding standing shooting Simon and misses are just part of the hunt. Cheers brother
Thank you Donald and very much appreciated my friend.
Great target practice,,, only missed one,,, well done brother

Excellent shooting. Look like big rats.
Thanks Fish ye one or two were massive..
Top shooting brother you threaded some tricky shots there
Thanks Colin ye one or two were awkward...
This poor old Canuck doesn't have his ear tuned to your version of English.
Sure is fun trying to figure out what you're saying.
Nice shooting by the way. As always!
Sorry DED i will put more writing in the next one just for you my friend.
@@simon6ppc246 lol - not necessary, your firearms do all the talking necessary!
You know, there are some great rat trap ideas, right here on TH-cam.
Nooooo chewt em
Hey bud, nice shooting. In terms of scale, how big do you think that pellet is to them? Like a baseball to us? Golf ball? And does it pierce them? Doesn’t seem to. I’d imagine it’s like getting hit with a 200mph baseball
May be ye and it shoots right through them, the kicking is just the nerves
