Today we're going to take a look at what Disneyland Paris has to offer. Plus, we're going to take you underneath Sleeping Beauty's Castle. Did you know there's a dragon under there?? How crazy is that?!

We went to this park for Christmas 2018. It was freezing (18-25 degrees) but it was AMAZING! Space mountain and was better than Cali and Florida, and my son said it was the best ride there. Loved watching the glass work in the castle and the dragon under the castle.
Thanks for including the stained glass windows and the dragon. I absolutely love them.
We do have the Mark Twain boat actually, though it hasn't operated since 2011. It's docked :-)

Going back and watching your old videos on Disneyland Paris after seeing your Tokyo Disneyland videos.
We visited on our honeymoon in ‘98.
Loved the gruesome under the cemetery scene in Phantom Manor. That was a surprise.
Cannot believe you went to Paris. That was so FLIPPING MAGICAL.

Oh my goodness Chris, I can't tell you how glad I was to receive the information about how long the line would be if you put all the bricks end to end!! I literally laughed out loud, not just a fake lol but a REAL ONE!!! Okay, I'm easily amused. It really is amazing how different this park is. Did you know that a long time ago there used to be a fort on Tom Sawyers island that you could go into? I always seem to date myself, I should probably stop doing that.

One big difference I noticed when I was there in July is how Europeans use open spaces. In Anaheim, if people see a small fence or little barrier suggesting people to keep of the grass Americans stay off the grass and respect the fence. In Europe, and specifically Disneyland Paris, Europeans love laying down on grass and will do so everywhere in the park.

I saw Defunctland's video about "Euro Disney" .. To say that Europeans didn't receive the park well would be an understatement. I'm glad money and imagineering fixed that issue over time. Can't wait to visit!

Funny fact. The place where the yearly festival (Tomorrowland) is in Boom, Antwerp was also considered at one point

As a kid, I was terrified by the dragon but I was told it was Maleficient and I was named after Aurora. My mom used to tell not to worry because you can see that the dragon is tied up. As a now 25 adult, I'm still uneased while walking near the dragon :D

Paris was the first Disneyland i had ever been to (I'm an Aussie) and it was amazing! I went to the one in california and im planing on going to the one in Florida for im 21! (i'm 19 now)

I heard that the dragon animatronic is one of the scary looking animatronics in all of the Disney Parks around the world. Including the wicked queen from Snow White ride, the Yeti from Orlando FL, and many others :D

actually I think that dragon is Maleficent if you remember the Disney movie when the Maleficent the evil fairy says"NOW YOU SHALL DEAL WITH ME OH PRINCE AND ALL THE POWERS OF HELL" that's her in the dungeon

I'm being a little picky, but I would say there are 5 versions of Big Thunder Mountain. The Runaway Mine Cars in Disney Hong Kong is a version just under a different name. The Paris version is great.

Paris has both the Molly Brown and the Mark Twain. Unfortunately, the mark twain was in a massive state of dissrepair when you most likely filmed this and they had dry docked it backstage awaiting a full top to bottom rebuild.

That's because it is a REAL dragon. Disney keeps it sedated with gold and elephant tranquilizers. Tis truly a magical place!

Disneyland Paris is awesome, but I think a lot of that comes to the fact of how much it struggled at first. Imagineers and other people at Disney really had to put all their effort to keep that park running.

Next time you are in DL you should ride in the front car of the monorail in the 70s or 80s I rode in the front car in Cali it had a bubble domeon the top so you could've a 360 view of the the track
