  • We visit Disneyland Paris! It first opened in 1992 The entertainment resort in Chessy, France, 32 km east of Paris. It encompasses two theme parks, resort hotels, Disney Nature Resorts, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex, and a golf course!
    Is it worth the price?

The best tip we ever got when we went to florida was to get to the theme parks as they open then take the monorail to the furthest part of the park. So you are basically working your way back towards the entrance. That way you avoid the queues 😉😁👌

Same with Alton Towers or any other big theme park tbh

You’re right , I tell ya someone should take a fit bit thing with them and count the steps , we couldn’t get around mgm studios in one day we had to do front first then another day do the back of park , same with universal studios , you must walk over 10 miles a day walking around a park in florida , you need a two week break when you come back

The monorail doesn't actually go into the parks, just to the entrance of magic kingdom or epcot.

The problem is, especially with magic kingdom, your at the front for rope drop, and once it goes, people run and dash to the more popular rides, so right away your competing with them, if your fast then your goole, but the ques are pretty big the whole day. Unless you get genie plus and pay the LL, your waiting for a long time. Another tip is, instead of watching the fireworks, then the rides aren't as busy. Now I've never done this as don't stay in magic kingdom long enough till the end, but it'd the only time when everyone leave the rides to watch the fireworks

Not sure if they offered this when you visited, but they do something called ‘baby swap’. This allows one (or more) people to queue in the main queue, and then if you ask for a baby swap at the end they will either give you a ticket or a password that allows the other members of your group who were looking after the baby to then go on the ride via fast track. It’s great as while one person is queuing in the long queue, the other can maybe go on smaller rides without then having to hold your baby or child or a long time for the more popular attractions

I went to Disneyland Paris recently and being someone who has autism, it's probably not the best place to go to. For being the happiest place on Earth, I was upset and cried twice, mainly about the stresses of making sure my family were safe and getting back home safely. At least the Marne-de-vallee train is right next door. But if you have anxiety maybe don't go with younger family members

Nice video thank you! Disneyland Paris is my home park and I’ve been visiting it since the 90s. Before covid, queues were much much lighter and during weekdays outside of school holidays, everything was 5-10min max. Since the reopening after covid + the 30th anniversary and Avengers Campus opening, I’ve never seen so many people there and as a annual passholder I rarely visit because I know my favorite rides will be at least an hour wait… it’s a shame as I believe the Disneyland park itself is incredibly beautiful and the maintenance quality has improved since Disney are back in control. I hope the crowds will fade after the anniversary!

I havent been to Disney Paris but i have been to the one in Orlando a few times but its years ago. Now you have to do a lot of planing and bring a lot of money.
You have to use the disney app ,with that you can but disney genie plus, it cost 15 dollars a day pr person, that is basically your entry into fast lanes, you have to book one at a time, that is if there is any times lots left,so when you have set up a time slot and gone on the ride you can set up another one. There is also a few ride that you cant use disney genie plus for , they coast extra between 7-17 dollars but you can only book 2 rides a day with that.
If you want to make reservation for a meet and greet, at a sit down restaurant ,you will have to do that month in advance.
If you just arrive at a park without any planing then you wont get to go on many rides ,you will be spending most of your time standing in line.
So a lot of planing and it will be very expensive

If you stay on site I would make use of the early entry that gets you. If you have small kids I recommend getting in for 8.30am and getting lots of rides done. Kids can have an afternoon nap at the hotel and eat lunch of items you bring with you and then head to park for the evening. Wait times are very low when the fireworks show is taking place or just before park close.
The entertainment shows are wonderful and wouldn’t miss those - especially Mickey and the Magician and Rhythm of the Pridelands. Arrive on plenty of time before the show start to get seated.
Character wait times can be long but characters in training often come out by the Casey Jr train and storybook ride and aren’t advertised.

@@WalkWithMeTim Florida used to have a bookable fast pass system where guests could try and get the rides they wanted before they even go. Onsite there was also single rider and standby lines to hopefully help you save time. Not sure if the latter two still exist, but Fast Pass has been replaced by Lightning Lanes (paid shorter wait time for a single premium attraction) and Genie + a paid system where you can book so many return time/lightning lanes at a time for a wider selection of rides, when one expires you can book another. I think that's right.... They have noticed at entrances telling you wait times, but also further along the queue...and there's supposed to be much less pushing, shoving, queue rudeness compared to DLP...say friends who have done both.

Great video. I’m not really into Disney and the price and queues definitely put me off. A good way for your viewers to get familiar with it if anyone fancies going 😊

Though my home park is Anaheim I feel Paris has the most stunning castle of all.

I've been to Disneyland Paris, in 2004 (so the parks looked almost different back then in comparison to in this video) and my visit was in the summer season of that year and so the weather at the time was very hot, like heatwave temperatures, much so that my family and I would go in to the Alice in Wonderland maze and get ourselves splashed by the water squirters

People often miss it but you can also walk under the castle, there's caves underneath with a massive dragon

We went there in October 2019. We did as much as we could in the 3 days we were there, though some wait times were long! It looks like the former backstage tour (which had Jeremy Irons and a French actress hosting) has been re-themed as that Cars ride, with some elements like the earthquake, explosion and flood scenes being the same but with Cars theming instead. There was a Hollywood backdrop when we went - it looks like it was removed when the original backstage tour closed. And Disney do like to stretch our their anniversary celebrations - Disney World opened in 1971, yet they are only just finishing those celebrations in early 2023 (we went last year - fantastic place!)

The ‘stretching room’ on Haunted Mansion (Phantom Manor in Paris) was originally in LA a way to hide a lift, to get the rider to the lower loading bay which was below the building. In Orlando and Pthe room is not a lift, you are not going down, but the roof is stretching up, to give the same effect, as the show building is on the same level. In Paris it’s a lift again (which is why the Manor is in an elevated position) as again the loading bay is underneath.

Been quite a long time since we went, my youngest was 5 now 16. As my son has autism we had a pass for the exits so had minimal wait times, they only allow on carriage with disabled at a time. So we never got to go in that room at the tower of terror, we went straight to the lift shafts.

    Went last June.
We were really disappointed because all the big rides were closed , Rock'n'Roll, Space mountain and Small world.
Did you notice if there was much closed this time?
Have just seen another video and they have closed Planet Hollywood.
Crush is not a ride to go on if you suffer from motion sickness.
Really annoyed they took the free x3 a day fastrack away, not sure who pays the extra on the rides.
As you were in the Sequoia you get the extra magical hours, which means you can enter the park earlier than ticket holders and go on the rides.

Hang on a minute Tim. There very much were episodes of the Avengers & the New Avengers on television. I think the movies came later.
