They did a great job renovating the station.
I remember it in its dark dingy days.
Quite a hike since they realigned the tracks northward.
I’ve read that eventually they will construct a new station closer to the tracks and use the old station for something else like special events.
I’ve taken the train to/from San Leandro - crossed the platform - and taken BART into San Francisco.

Can we choose seat, We are 8 members planning to explore the travel with amtrk, i saw there is middle seats are facing forward each other, do we need to book?
It is open seating on this route. No middle seats. Best seats for groups are the middle table seats that seat 4 each.
