A: It's the private server for my community, Shack Tactical. As of 2014 we've been around for eight years, and I wouldn't trade it for anything - we have a fantastic memberbase and it makes for amazing gameplay in Arma and elsewhere. You can read more about us here: www.shacktac.com

Q: Does ShackTac play mostly coop or mostly PvP/adversarial in Arma?
A: We do a mix of about 70% adversarial and 30% coop - both offer unique experiences and are a blast to play.
Q: How long have you been playing the Arma series?
A: I've been here from the start, with my Operation Flashpoint experience beginning with the demo's release in 2001. I went into the US Marine Corps shortly after (no relation!) and in 2004 I started playing OFP in multiplayer. 2006 saw me found ShackTac, which started in OFP and then transitioned through Arma 1, Arma 2, and finally, Arma 3. I hope to continue this for a long time into the future, as well as share the ride with viewers like you, as corny as that sounds!

On a Taconic video, Taconic sees Dslyecxi knocked out on the floor of an apartment building and chooses to execute him.
A user commented on the execution in which Taconic replied:

... That was the most convoluted and hilarious sequence of events I have EVER witnessed.

@TheEliteBrit Works like this: there are 4 entities in play : Dslyecxi, the hostage, his captors, the independents, the opfors, who want to trade him for ammo to the independents, and the bluefors who want to save him. To win, the captors need to deliver him, and depart with the ammo. Only they fuck up, and the escape artist does his thang

I understand that there are quite a number of "end conditions" that involve who ends up with what and what happens to the hostages. Basically, the idea is to try and secure everything that you can, and you mostly get bragging rights if you stop the other teams from achieving their goals.
Holy shit. This looks so awesome! Fighting and driving together, camping and not knowing the enemy. Thats what I call a game... :D Is this standard in Dark Business? :)
In dark business 5 Blufor fly around Syriani equipped with nightvision and suppressed weapons, trying to rescue 2 hostages and stop the arms deal between independent and opfor.
Then shenanigans occur. Usually due to the hostages rarely being properly compliant, or because opfor/independant get a double win if they keep both hostages and weapons truck and usually try to ambush each other after or during the hostage/weapon swap.
You truly just stump me everyday. Im just impressed beyond belief.

i think the part that made me laugh the hardest was that i'd watched one of the old videos. where Dslyecxi was a hostage and they yelled at an SUV driver for doing exactly this same thing. only that time they didn't steal the SUV.
i think it was titled The Silver Briefcase.
Mk, so this is dark business. In dark business there are four groups: The hostages, opfor, blufor, and independent. The independents start with the hostages, IE dslyecxi and the other guy. Each group wants the hostages for their own reasons, and the independents want to trade the hostages with opfor(?) for an ammo truck.
So one of the hostages managed to take a truck full of his captors, the independents, hostage here. The captive became the captor.
I think Dslyecxi finally snapped.

I would actually be surpised if anyone at shacktac is seriously mad at the driver... leaving the truck without thinking of the hostages was probably just the force of habit but on the other hand it lead to one of the most hilarious chain of events in shacktac history! There´s really no need to overreact!

Its Dark Business. Independents (Beagle and co) have captured civvies (Dslyecxi), and want to trade them for ammo from Opfor (the guys in the vineyard from the end of the video). Blufor want to grab the civvies before the trade goes down, and have helicopters to help.
This reminds me a lot of silver briefcase. From now on, anyone holding you hostage should have their wits about them 24/7 xD
I believe that if you fulfill your objective, that's good. If you prevent the other sides from competing theirs, that's even better.

In this video Dslyecxi is a hostage, his captors are independent, who want to trade him and the other hostages to OpFor. BluFor are trying to stop them doing so.
