I found that for certain places it worked well to cover my hand with a couple socks and push out from inside the shoe. Just gotta be extra careful not to burn yourself. Which I didn't but I got kinda close a couple times.

My air max 90s I bought many but wear one pair for years then next pair .my last pair fell apart in one month .Nike can't help as out of warranty . So I punish Nike and get many pairs free. I had three pairs soles fell apart. The pure black pair were front was leather lasted years . Also my red pair lasted long time to .
